Plastic flower in the corner of vanity in the room.
My client booked the room, he wasn't told, that there will be the shared bathroom only. So I have to use shared ladies bathroom. There were 2 toilets there in enclosed cubicles, one without light, so no usable. Shower and bath but no hair dryier etc. I was dirty after building site visit, but I was afraid to use the shower as anybody from corridor could enter the powder room and look over partition. There was a basin in my room, but no soap. You can say I could go and ask to get both , but I arrived late, reception was already closed and I had to wait to get a key, which is acceptable, but you don't want to go and wait in the second queue at the bar to get manager again while people are ordering drinks and food. Room was clean, but very basic. There was just one double power point, luckily they provided extesion cord otherwise once fridge and kettle is plugged you would not have power.

The new manager/owner was excellent, he was very friendly and went above and beyond. The room was clean and modern and a lovely spot to stay overlooking the water. Will come back when travelling through for a one night stay.

Room was okay and very clean, see below, Location great by the water.
I would suggest a lot less chlorine bleach when cleaning, it was quite toxic.
Maybe when people book a room and it includes a weekend night and are on the other side of 60 and want a bit more sleep, suggest they take a more quiet room perhaps not the side we asked for music does not sound great from above.

The room was very clean
The bathroom basin was a bit high, too high for a smaller person or a child.

Quick check in and the room was nice and clean. Bathroom was quite large. Good location for getting into shops
Large bathroom was good however it seemed to be catering for disabilities so there was no shower screen and water went all over the floor.
Great if you need it but would have liked the option of a different room with another type of bathroom.

Loud. Room was miniscule. Shared bathrooms were in disrepair and shower alternated from scalding hot to freezing cold.

The property is central to the town’s cafes, beach and entertainment.

Excellent room newly refurbished to a high standard. Location very close to everything; beach restaurants, river etc. Pub is underneath but room was very quiet from 9:30pm. Room was not huge, but perfect for couples or single or business.
Nothing. Recommend for couples, singles, or business.

Manager very helpful

Are room was directly over the beer garden, it was noisy and stuffy.
The air con didn't work, staff said they would send someone up, but that never happened.
There were tea and coffee but no teaspoon.
It was a small double bed.
The room, the service, the meal were expensive and very ordinary.
The only plus was the location.
No I wouldn't stay here again
9.0
the proximity to the river, restaurants and boutique shops is second to none
