The location was on a small square where we were able to park.

Our experience would have been very different if we had booked any one of the other rooms available at the property. It was not clear on the Booking.com website which room we were booking and just how small the room was. All of the other rooms are beautiful and spacious. We also felt that our host repeatedly reminded us that “this is not a hotel.” We did not feel particularly welcome. We prefer to book B&Bs, we understand they are not hotels, and are usually rewarded with a more intimate experience. This was our least favorite accommodation on our 3-week visit to Sicily.

The staff was really friendly and they did a lot of effort to make us feel comfortable and at home.

The fridge was very noisy and found out later on it was leaking. The blankets were not wrapped in sheets but there was just a single sheet under the blanket that was wiggling out constantly.

Great stay close to Villa Bellini

Good location, just a short walk from Villa Bellini and Via Etnea. Our room was bright and airy and the bed very comfy. Veronica and her mum were great hosts, making us feeling at home. I recommend the home-made cakes they offer for breakfast...yummy!

The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Loved the details and design on the ceiling. Veronica was very responsive, attentive, and friendly, and Lilliana was so sweet. The breakfast was delicious and the location was great. We had an exceptional stay and it was a great value. Would not hesitate to come again!

A must stay when in Catania

Delicious breakfast. Great location (10 min walk from most sites of interest) The most lovely and helpful owners. Quiet area The most comfortable bed! A big fat 10 out of 10!!!

Etna trip

The room was as showed on the photo,spacious, super clean. Beautiful. Comfortable bed.A lot of space,cupboards drawers .Excellent Victoria was SUPER NICE,KIND AND HELPFUL WHEN WE MET HER UPON ARRIVAL.She was always very communicative from the moment we booked it.

just that if we removed the keys from the electricity slot,when we went out,the fridge switches off,so don't see much point in it...At least we should have the option to keep that on,as we had some food and water we wanted to keep cold

fabulous owners & quality/price ratio

most beautiful courtyard for the guests including a drying rack & the kitchen has a freezer with ice! individually controlled ac was very good(it was HOT in sept)the alibus ap shuttle bus drops you on their doorstep & we were able to check in early. grocery around the corner. we had the “garden” room that had the private terrace with the table & 2 chairs & they cleverly placed a HUGE umbrella over it to block the sun & view from some tall buildings behind the b&b. you are able to leave the doors open if you want fresh air & keep the iron gate door locked.Veronica has excellent & quick English communication through WhatsApp & here! even on a weekend when we had a bit of a situation…she & her lovely mother responded to help us like we were family! I highly recommend this place! problems can arise during any vacation at any time & I am VERY impressed when I see owners respond as they did!

We spent 3 nights there in the end of July and we really enjoyed it. Thank you 👍😉

Enough space - 4 people in apartment. Parking on the street was safe and max 6 €/day. Close to the city center - you can walk. Nice service and very helpfull people.

Maybe just the shower could be bigger, but it was clean and fine. So nothing serious.

Perfect place to stay in Catania

Everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Beautiful apartment equipped with everything you need. It is very near the touristic attractions, restaurants and bars. Veronica is the most thoughtful, gracious host (she provided us with all the information we needed). This is definitely the perfect place to stay in Catania :)

Lovely little B&B, excellent service

The room was lovely and the bathroom was good. The breakfast room and garden were very pleasant for starting the day, and the breakfast offer was substantial and very nice. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful, and on days where we were setting off early (on departure day and for excursions) we were provided with some breakfast items in our room the night before and invited to help ourselves to chilled items from the fridge in the kitchen. There is a bus stop right outside the door from where you can catch a bus to Central Station for €1 should you wish to visit Taormina, Syracuse, etc.

We had some problems with the towel rail/holders coming off the wall due to the fixing screws not being in place. The location might be a little far out from the centre for some, but as we are regular walkers it wasn't an issue for us. The road outside could be a little noisy at night, but it usually settled down before bed time.

This was a last minute booking for one night but it was way above other similar accommodation.

Very helpful staff. Beautifully presented room, good breakfast. Attractive outside terrace garden.

The room was up a steep internal staircase which would have been helpful to know as we had heavy suitcases and were only staying for one night. However the staff were very helpful in letting us leave our cases in a private bathroom on the main floor which resolved the problem. Some additional directions on finding the B&B by car would have been helpful as Google maps is not that precise.

Definitly worth staying in these high-ceiling halls to explore Catania!

Very helpful and charming staff in this family-ran house. Valuable advices and really good breakfast. Large, elegant rooms with impressively high ceilings. You can stay there and easily explore the East of Sicilia including Taormina, Syracrus and Etna from here!

If you travel by car you will face additional (but reasonable) costs for parking in front of the B&B and sometimes have to do an extra-round before you find a parking place.

An excellent find for our stay in Catania

Everything! From before we arrived the service was exceptional. We had clear instructions for finding the property and it was well signed at street level. The host was very friendly and welcoming and gave us a thorough check in with lots of information. The room was large and clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was over and above what we expected with a large variety of foods available. Every member of staff we met was welcoming and friendly. we would absolutely recommend staying here! Location was great - you can get the bus straight from the airport and it stops right outside and it was walking distance to everything we wanted to see.

Comfortable, spacious ,safe and friendly.

It was a great location. Veronica and her mother were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We were also able to leave our luggage and pickup later when we were leaving. The garden is lovely and you can walk to the centre of town in about 15 minutes. The airport bus also stops right outside the property . I have no problem recommending this property. Hopefully it is not our last visit.

Super clean hotel in a great location with friendly staff.

The room was very spacious and super clean. Veronica gave us helpful recommendations when we checked in and she had a great knowledge of the local area. There was a good choice of food for breakfast and the croissants were delicious. The hotel has a nice garden that I image would be a great place to relax during the summer. Liberty 900 is within a walking distance of everything.
