The person who met us, Laura, was awesome! She took her time to describe the villa, the neighborhood and answer all the questions we had upon arrival. She really helped make out stay a stupendous experience. She would check in with us, assist with dinner reservations and suggestions on transportation and travel in the area. The rooms we had at the villa were spacious, well appointed and comfortable. There was not much of a living room, which didn't matter as there was ample places to sit outside our apartment as well as on the grounds.
The people staying at the villa were friendly and came from a wide variety of places. It was great sharing about our trips and even ended up adjusting our itinerary slightly based upon our conversations.
We didn't want to stay in Florence, but wanted to be able to easily travel there. It is a 15 min. walk (5 min. drive, with no problem finding parking) and a 45 minute train ride. Once we figured out how to validate the train ticket before entering the train, the rest of the travel was easy.
We were excited to participate in a cooking class. However, the owner was sick and not available. This was a small disappointment. Everything else was great.

Everything, the location was spectacular, a piece of Tuscan countryside in the middle of a town! Close to Florence city by car or train, amazing views and experience. Incredible owner and extremely helpful and friendly! Definitely would stay again!
There was nothing we didn’t like!

The most relaxing place for a holiday. Complete serenity throughout the villa and the entire estate, while close to everything you need or want. Constanza is an amazing host and tries to help you in any way she can. The cooking class is recommended!

The whole concept of this villa is really charming. there is a nice area with olive trees and vineyards. the room was so authentic and beautiful. Owner was friendly and nice
I don’t want to leave a bad review because owner was so nice with us but I want to provide my feedback because it could be helpful for others and also for accommodation. room facility is not prepared for staying for more than one night. there is no trash basket( only in bathroom), no iron, no special adapters for sockets. only 2 sockets were usable. I totally understand that some hotels and apartments charge special dog fees, but not that expensive. it was first time when fee was 20€ per night. even in Scandinavia we haven’t paid such fees for dog.

This was our second time at this property and both stays have been excellent. The property itself is a charming villa set in extensive grounds. It is an ideal location for visiting Florence as it is well away from the city centre, but with quick easy cheap access by train. Very quiet and secure area but there are plenty of excellent restaurants in the town. There are also good walks from the doorstep into the surrounding hills
Nothing - I am sure we will be visiting again

The location for us was erfect as we had friends/family in Sesto. There is a train station quite close so you can easily get into Florence
We had to ask for Coffee and Milk bau this was instantly provided.

Outstanding support from Costanza for the entire trip - from calling taxis to suggesting and making dinner reservations. Very helpful with booking tour guides as well. Our two bedroom apartment was huge. We loved picking fresh herbs from the gardens and using them in our cooking. Fresh eggs, olive oil, and wine sourced from the Villa were extra treats. We’ll stay there again if we’re ever near Florence.

For us it was not only an excellent accommodation. Everything - the hosts, the garden, the entire property, exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was fabulous, served in a fairytale atmosphere. The quiet atmosphere, safety, incredible details, works of art, amazingly large and beautiful garden - you want to live here! Costanza is a perfect host! We are already making plans to come back.

The room. The peace and quiet in a location so close to the town centre.
Almost never saw staff. No restaurant or bar. Bed not made.

Costanza and Laura were very friendly and helpful. The villa was big and comfortable with all amenities including free parking and laundry. The train station was a good 15 min walk, but doable and an easy way to get to Florence or other places. They had a pool and ping pong table and even allowed us to pick fruit from their orchards. They were very friendly and helpful.
Beware the mosquitos in the summer

We loved everything about this property - from the warm Italian welcome given by our hosts, to the charming apartment, the secret swimming pool, the picturesque gardens filled with every kind of Mediterranean tree and plant imaginable- olive groves, vines (the estate makes its own red wine), herbs, et etc. After planning in advance, the hosts provided us with a magnificent Italian breakfast served in the splendid dining room of the big house - delicious local and seasonal produce and good coffee (we are coffee snobs and this coffee was top notch.)
No cafetière in the room

The apartment is big, in a beautiful surrounding of gardens and trees. Costanza and her sister were so helpful with all the information about the city and the area, helped us with booking good restaurants and suggested places for us to view in the are. We were also introduced to a friend, who gave us a great tour in Florence, which was also perfect. There is private free parking. The apartment is nicely equipped and there are stores around in case you want to cook or buy food. Everything is really done with a smile and in good spirit. We will definitely come back!

What a great location and friendly staff! This was the perfect location in Florence for a large family. The property is beautiful and secure. We were able to head into the city center using public transportation to enjoy the sites then retreat to the quiet and very comfortable hotel to recharge our batteries. The expansive grounds and pool gave our kids the opportunity to burn off energy while parents relaxed and planned the rest of the days adventures. Our hostess, Serena, went out of her way to make us comfortable and ensure it was a stress-free stay including breakfast in the courtyard, booking reservations for dinner, car transfers, and more. Great place and wonderful people. This will be our first choice for future travel to Florence.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We were a bit worried when we arrived at the villa because it wasn't as secluded as we expected (it is situated in a residential area). But once we drove through the gate and saw the 5 acre land our worries subsided. We were warmly welcomed by Serena, the villa's host. She showed us multiple apartments and we were instantly in love! We chose to stay in the romantic tower apartment with a wonderful view over the 5 acre yard.
The apartment had perfect sanitary facilities, good working wifi, fridge, ceramic cooker, cooking utensils and enough amenities to make yourself a nice Italian meal. Serena also took us for a walk in the yard and showed us all the (fruits and) vegetables they were growing. Tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, grapes all right there growing under the Tuscan sun. We also ordered a basket with fresh veggies from the garden and we could even use the barbecue to grill them. There was a little issue with the a/c not working properly but it was fixed and we were offered a fan for the time being.
We had a wonderful stay and are definitely going back!
The only thing that could be improved is the swimming pool. It is an above ground pool, very shallow and not really suitable for adults to swim laps. It's nice just to cool off though and there's also an outside shower available.

Everything about this villa is beautiful. The family have ensured the apartments are very luxurious yet maintain the rustic charm of a 16th century manor, ensuring a true Tuscan experience. Costanza and Serena are fantastic hosts and were always on hand when needed, be it for recommendations or fresh vegetables from their farm (which you must try, they're phenomenal!) The family also offer a home cooked dining experience on selected nights, highly recommend, the food is fantastic (so is the wine!) And the villa courtyard is beautiful to dine in.
After exploring the buzz of Florence (>15 min train journey) the villa was the perfect bit of luxury and calm in the Tuscan countryside to retreat back to. Be it for a dip in the pool or an aperol spritz on the balcony. Was very hard to leave and a place we'll definitely be going back to stay again.
Nothing to dislike
