Lovely people, lovely place!

Excellent breakfast. The hosts very welcoming and attentive to specific dietary requirements, made me feel reassured. Also very knowledgeable about surrounding area- walks, places to see.

Clean, smart and very hospitable hosts. Very well run.

The place is spotlessly clean, breakfast very enjoyable and our hosts couldn’t be more helpful. Would recommend without hesitation. The beach is only 50 yards away, and there is a restaurant 2 doors away and a cafe 5 doors away.

During the booking process I was led to believe we were getting a sea view room, but apparently booking.com allocates rooms on first come basis, and so we had a garden view room. This was disappointing. Booking.com should have made this clear and not illustrated my booking with a picture of a room overlooking the sea. Next time we will book direct with the venue.

The best coastel b&b we have Sayed in

Excellent location, the breakfast was great and the service was also above and beyond I would definitely stay again, I do not a have a bad word about the place the room was huge for a b&b and was very comfy and spotlessly clean we even had our own soap and the next day a soap dish was supplied, it's the little things that make a difference.

This is a lovely place to stay. We could not have had a better welcome. Philippa made our stay special in any number of ways. The room itself was very comfortable, and we loved the style of the furniture and decoration. It was clear that a lot of thought and effort had gone into it. Breakfast was extremely good: everything we ate and drank was of very high quality and very well-presented. The location is convenient for the train station, the beach, shops, cafés, etc. All in all, this place is a gem and we would definitely go back.

Honestly the most wonderful B and B I have had the privilege to have stayed in!

Absolutely everything! My Nan and I loved how it felt so comfortable yet such a treat. The whole place was beautifully decorated and each and every detail has been meticulously thought about to ensure guests feel super spoilt and super comfortable! I had read the reviews saying how wonderfully comfortable the beds were and they weren’t wrong! We both slept so well, everything about the beds were just marvellous. Then to wake up to the best sea view was just perfect! I had also read the reviews saying how amazing Philippa and Colin were as hosts, so I was heading there with high expectations, but from even before we had arrived Philippa went out of her way to ensure my Nan and I had the perfect stay. This absolutely wonderful treatment continued throughout our three night stay. So many caring and thoughtful touches, even choccie eggs and an Easter card for us! Colin then fed us super well with the most delicious of breakfasts. These wonderful hosts deserve every bit of praise as they really do go above and beyond for their guests. I really can’t thank Philippa enough for making this trip so perfect for my Nan and I. We have left with our hearts (and tummies!) full of happy (and giggly!) memories and for that I can’t thank you enough. We so look forward to coming back and staying again one day super soon! 💕

This is a B&B with high ambition. Superb breakfast, try the omelette, but all is well cooked by Colin. The whole place is immaculate and a lit of effort has gone into the interior decoration. Very caring hist. Great attention to detail. This place is worth the highest regard and rating.

A gem of a place

Had the feel of a boutique hotel, decorated to a very high standard, with lots of lovely touches. Very comfortable. The hosts could not do enough for us, we were made to feel extremely welcome. Breakfast was excellent with every option available. Location perfect - right opposite the beach.

the perfect stay, just wish it could have been longer

Everything was perfect, the accommodation is tastefully decorated and super comfortable, we had a see view which was the best I've ever had. Breakfast was lovely, there was nothing you couldn't ask for in a stay.

A very enjoyable stay.

Both Phillipa and Colin were very helpful and met all our extra needs. Breakfast was fabulous. The view from our room was not great but this was reflected in the price. The view from the front was great. Easy car parking was available.

Everything. The room was great. Phillipa and Colin very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice and food delicious. The view of the estuary was excellent with place for two to sit in two places. Definitely recommend - 5 Star!

Nothing. Everything was great. but thinking for others who may struggle with stairs, this may be difficult, since the building does not have a lift and so you need to be able to use stairs.
