Such a spectacular setting. A gated community, the studio and one bedrooms are gorgeous and huge w a full kitchen. The pool is nice, steps from a private beach. They rent by the night or the month. Monthly is extremely reasonable. There is a restraunt on site, amazing food! Katie is the best. She makes sure you have everything you need.
I will definitely look forward to making this my home.
The beach has rocks, but that's me being picky. Once your in the water is gorgeous and.

the grass is mowed and trimmed, inexpensive small room, Owner begrudgingly agreed to move me to a room in another area
the property is seriously shabby. Mold growing on the stairs near the entrance to the beach gives an “ew” feeling to the whole property. Missing awnings at the pool, easily replaceable to add a bit of style and color to the area are just simply absent. While the property is quite large (nearly a mile in diameter), and probably 100 rooms on the grounds, there are just 4 (yes, FOUR) chez lounges at the pool for guests. 4!!! The pool is large and swimmable, most of the day no one is using it maybe because it’s simply, like the rest of the property, filthy. Debris scattered about the bottom of the pool, does no one maintain the cleanliness of the water? Is it even filtered? Room: as a solo traveler, I booked an inexpensive small room for 1 adult. Room was as described on the website—(but was it?). I refer to not “what is listed” in the description, but what is omitted: for example, they don’t tell you the single inexpensive rooms are on the edge of the restaurant’s outdoor seating (which is fine, no one seems to eat there much at all anyway, I certainly didn’t. Maybe the filthy conditions of their pool is lore in Jamaica and word got around?) but that doesn’t stop the restaurant from *blaring* music (literally) all day long from opening in the AM to closing. Music is piped (not only in the restaurant) but in the outdoor seating area which is adjacent to the single rooms (oh, yeah the single rooms have TVs but no cable television hook ups!! —another thing omitted in the listing! you’re basically stuck watching YouTube on the TV, and the WiFi connection is so poor, good luck trying to watch a video more than 30 seconds without the connection failing). When I requested to the owner, Gladys to please lower the music, her reply was 3 fold: 1) this isn’t loud for Jamaica, 2) no one has ever complained before, and 3) “no”. "Customer is king” is never adhered to at this fine establishment. Fortunately, my room’s AC failed (YES, ANOTHER FAIL!

This property has been hidden for too long. I love the old English feel about it. It’s quiet and smack right on the beach. The fooooood was amazing at Queens B restaurant located on property. Check in was super easy. Shout out to Kadeijah. The most Petite powerhouse, with amazing customer service, who gave me a tour of the property and room made me feel welcomed and comfortable. She deserve a raise. And to the friendly guy at check out and restaurant staff. Well trained and can tell they love their job.
Not enough toiletries and room could be a little cleaner. A refresher to ensure sheets and bathrooms are in order would have been good. But a solid 8 over all. Will definitely be back

The location was good - I would have loved to use the pool but was unsure if it was was clean and maintained as should be.
The beach wasn't accessible as I didn't receive a fob to get through the gate from the property to the beach.

After arrival... nothing i liked.
1- No change of linens or towels, so we had to reuse old stinky wet ones.
2- Why stinky and wet, you may ask, when there is a washer/dryer asvertised as an amenity? Because there is none.
3- No garbage service or directions to any trash area or dumpster, so stinky yucky trash collected in our unit and made the whole unit smell disgusting.
4- Air conditioning and overhead fan did not work. The girl who helped me to my room saw these problems and said someone would be there to fix it. 4 days later, it is still not fixed. Someone who works there told me that they lock the A/C when there's only 1 guest in a room.
5- Wild animals and feral cats were all over the property. For some reason, they liked our locked and barred patio to do their fighting and f**king at all hours of the night. I'm not sure how dangerous these wild animals are because I tried to stay far away.
6- The advertised pool was present, but no pool towels nor pool chairs to enjoy, so basically useless.
7- There was nothing to do on their beach, and again a lack of anywhere to sit.
8- I was asked for a cash deposit on arrival and said that I preferred using a CC for security reasons. I was told no, cash only, and I might get it back on checkout if the room was not damaged. However, they never took a deposit from me, so nothing to get back on departure.
9- There is no real "front desk", just a barren lobby area. So you have to wait until someone notices you and says to wait awhile for the host.
10- In terms of location, this place gets roughly a 2/10 score. There is nothing, and I mean nothing, located nearby or even within walking distance. No stores, no restaurants, no malls, no marts... nada!

My apartment was very quiet lovely Seaview, the apartment was clean and tidy. I may return soon, I think next time I will ask Gladys for a larger apartment.
The only thing I didn't like was the balcony it was small and I didn't like the shower curtain but the shower itself was excellent, Restaurant was a little bit too pricey.

The staff at Seacastles made me feel right at home. Gladys was attentive, available and responsive from booking to checkout. She is highly communicative, and helped me solve several travel problems that arose during my time there. I was traveling alone ( and not entirely prepared) and Gladys answered questions I didn't even know I had. She seemed to have a personal investment in my safety and a genuine caring about my experience in Jamaica. The restaurant Queen G's is great too! The staff are amazing and you are always greeted with a smile and a damn good cup of coffee. They make you feel right at home and are more than willing to answer questions, teach you about life on The Island, or just chat (if they have the time). Shana (Sp?) and James offer helpful suggestions about what to eat, play great music and make the space an enjoyable and relaxing place to be. Everything I ate there was delicious, the chicken curry was some of the best I have ever had (and I eat a lot of curry). Kadisha (sp.) was highly professional ,prompt and personable. She offered her assistance whenever I needed it. She makes herself available and made several accomodations for me as a solo traveller. Overall, the people that make up the Seacastles community make it a place you want to be.

Overall the apt was comfortable, some areas needs some improvement, I like the kitchen and bathroom, Location is very central, easy access to transportation to city centre
Location was good, apt needs improvement, roof needs fixing, some holes were observed in the roof. Refrigerator only cools at the top shelf, Bed too small. Drapes in the bedroom needs to be replaced

Proximity to beach = good.
Landscaped surrounding area = good.
Useful to have restaurant on site.
Good to have swimming pool on site.
The sofa bed was uncomfortable to sleep on. It was lumpy.
The TV in bedroom had no sound.
Would be good to have hooks to hang towels or towel rail.

There is only one restaurant onsite the food was sometimes not cooked properly.
cleanliness of suite. Proper upgrades need to be made to suite, fixtures and furniture. This suite was not not functional. For example - when using the shower, the entire bathroom floor and hallway get wet.

bathrooms are small and facilities could use some updating

It was nice having a beach on the property. It was quiet there so I could sleep without disturbance. The staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful.
The shower curtain in the bathroom was short so the floors got wet.

Accommodation and restaurant was very good, local dishes are a MUST. Gladys is taking here responsibility as host very serious and helps and supports where she can (drove us to supermarket, as we did not have a rental car...wow). We felt very welcome and had a great time waiting for our rescheduled flight. If some improvements at the public beach and the pool are done, I can fully recommend this place if you plan to chill and relax some days in the sun with good local food.
Pool (not many sunbeds) and beach area, many keys to lock the door 😃

This was a superb place to have a few days of rest and rejuvenation! The welcome and hospitality from Gladys was amazing and it is hard to argue with an sunny outside balcony to have your breakfast while looking out to the Carribean Sea. I got an airport pick up from Gladys and the ride included a stop to get fresh fruit and groceries so I could make the most of the apartment kitchen to be very self-sufficient. If you are looking for a quiet getaway right on the beach then this is the place for you!
I was not really aware that they would have liked an extra cash deposit (which would be refunded on departure) and as I do not carry a lot of cash on me when I travel they made it possible for me to pay electronically which they will refund.

The people and the vibes was just right!! Love it here. Very peaceful. This place is mainly for couples or for a place to just get away from everything. Perfect location, not to far from the city life.
No warm water. But I wasn't complaining cuz i like and perferr cold showers.
