A ideal stay in the heart of Lewes

Very well equipped with a great layout and spacious rooms. Great for a quiet night in, act as a hub or to entertain dinner attempts. The host (Sara) is on hand and though we didn't require, gives the impression will help with anything necessary.

A fantastic location, especially if you happen to drive and then don't want to use your car during your stay. We stayed in a wet soggy weekend, which made the stay all the more cosy,though I wonder if it would be a smidge warm in the stiffling weather (for those 4 days a year we have!) 😀

Great accommodation in the heart of Lewes

Fantastic Lewes apartment. The place is warm and roomy, spacious, well appointed, very well located within Lewes and a short drive to Brighton. We were particularly happy with the addition of a separate dryer and washing machine. Apartment is a short walking distance to historic landmarks plus shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Our host Sara was very responsive and friendly. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The best property ever.

The owner, Sarah was very kind. She always shortly responded to my inquiries or requests. The rooms were clean enough and very cosy. We felt very welcomed. Good location for shopping and sightseeing.

Lovely central location - we keep coming back!

The Goslings is in a great location. Close to the centre of Lewes and lots of cafes, pubs and restaurants. It's a great self-contained space with open plan kitchen and dining / seating area. So good for socialising with friends or family. Even though it is in the centre of Lewes - it's in a quiet area and noise is minimal. Sara is a great host and always makes up feel very welcome.

Parking in Lewes can be a bit difficult. But Sara gave us a permit so we found a space close by.

Nice and spacious, host Sara is friendly.

Sara was friendly. The property was a good size. Not too far from shops, cafes and bars and a short walk to the train station.

There was an odd smell in the property which at first I thought was due to it not being used for a while but it remained during the whole stay. Was only at the property to sleep so wasn’t massively bothered.

location was great - enjoyed having a proper lounge to relax - kitchen was well stocked - nice to have a washing machine and dishwasher

the property was very dark and lacked fresh air - we had to keep the front door open - parking difficult - place felt a bit tired & unclean - needed a bit of TLC

Sara was a perfect host. Friendly and polite. Will definitely stay again should I be in the area.

Great location, right opposite a pub! Also just around the corner from the shops and bars. Sara even provided milk for our arrival. Very spacious apartment. Everything was just perfect!

Lovely Appartment, Lovely town

The location is ideal. The property is very clean and very well equipped in the kitchen. The bathroom is a reasonable size for the appartment, and the bedrooms are a decent size as well. Sara is a great host

There wasn't much to dislike to be perfectly honest. I don't go around looking for things that I don't like. The Goldings is a perfect place for a couple of nights in Lewes

Brilliant property, lovely host, made very welcome would stay again, but not with a disabled guest

self catering. Location was great, right close to the centre of Lewes

Booked as an accessible property, however, there were three long steps to get in so was difficult with guest who needs a wheelchair. Also bathroom not big enough to get wheelchair in and difficult to use the shower for the disabled person as there was a step up into the shower.

great stay, clean reasonably priced and great facilities

plenty of space, fully functioning kitchen. milk, tea and coffee complimentary. cafetière and coffee machine available to use too which was great as we had an early start for the Brighton marathon. close to restaurants, bars and the train station

A comfortable stay

The location is excellent and just what we needed. Sara was incredibly accommodating especially as I booked last minute and she made travelling solo with two young children so much easier! She met us at the property even though we were late after hours in traffic so very grateful for her help after a long journey.

There isn’t anything to write here. It was exactly what we needed.

Great little bolt-hole in the centre of Lewes - perfect for a family stay.

The Goldings is in a perfect location for exploring Lewes and the surrounding areas. There is a large open plan living space with excellent kitchen and dining facilities. Good wifi and TV Two good sized bedrooms and a shower room. Sara - our host was lovely. She met us on arrival with keys and a friendly smile and gave us plenty of tips and advice about the property and the location. The Lewes arms next door is a friendly and welcoming local pub. We also enjoyed take-away Pizza from Rustico around the corner. It's a short walk to the High street, bars and restaurants, and to the train station. Car-parks in Lewes are also cheap and plentiful. All in all a perfect new years eve!
