Liked the countryside location, with view across the valley. Comfortable room. Breakfasts very good - beautifully cooked omelette; home-made cakes and preserves.

The property is so beautiful, so well looked after and all furnishings are of exceptionally high standards. The decor so fresh and clean.
Breakfast is amazing, cereal, breads, meat, cheese, hot eggs scrambled.
Jams, honey, mini warm croissants and choc au Pain, fresh juice, fresh fruit and homemade yogurt l, which is delicious, hot drinks, coffee, tea, fruit teas and hot chocolate.
The proprietor is so helpful and as we had not got a car offered to cook for us an evening meal, but we walked to Le Bugue as it is down hill and took a taxi back on an evening for €20 as it is a dark lane and totally up hill.
Amazing views of the Dordogne and lovely pool.
You can get drinks on the terrace on an evening too.
Nothing.

Self catering
only one toilet; noisy footsteps from the bedroom above ; cooking utensils only just adequate.

The room space and balcony view.
The address on the Booking/reservation was not correct. It took quite some time to find the house.

This is a very nice house overlooking a splendid view to a valley. The rooms we had were both comfortable en suite. There is easy and free parking nearby. The breakfast was pretty good value at 12 Euro pp. Wifi was ok. Hostess was nice and helpful. The pool is nice.
The place is very quiet. Very very quiet. If you are looking for a quiet restful stay this is perfect for you. But take into account there is nothing within easy walking distance (shops, restaurants etc). Also, we felt limited by the requirement to keep quiet in the mornings and evenings - it is not the best fit to groups that include kids.

The views were spectacular and it was really lovely to be able to sit outside to have breakfast, an evening meal or drinks and enjoy this scenery
parking was an issue and it was some of them seemed a little unnecessary if I’m honestquite difficult to reverse & turn when leaving each morning. There were lots of rules and

Great property with lovely, attentive and hard working owners. Beautiful location overlooking the valley of the Le Bugue plain. Good sized swimming pool - a joy in the tremendously hot weather. Ample and varied breakfast. Owners extremely generous with their time and nothing was too much trouble for them. One of the best places we hace stayed in a very long time.
There is nothing to dislike!

Spectacular views, wonderful pool, large rooms with separate bedroom for the kids, comfortable beds, good breakfast, tasty crêpes.
We really enjoyed our stay here!
No airco, which was a bit of a disappointment. It wasn't too hot though, we slept well with the doors open.

Our hostess was charming and very attentive. The room was large and airy with lovely views. Breakfast was freshly prepared with a number of delicious home-made items.
Maison Olea is in a lovely setting and very quiet, with the drawback that it isn't easy to find. Even our satnav was no help. Advise using Google maps!

Beautiful location, amazing views from the terrace. I had the most amazing home made pizza I’ve ever had for dinner. Room was gorgeous and you could step straight out onto the stunning terrace..Really lovely owners.

The breakfast was OK
The room was falsely described. No air conditioning in room as per room description. No river view from room as per room description. Balcony was not private and the guests from the room next door walked onto our balcony and stood directly in front of our room. Upon arrival the owners were miserable and unwelcoming. Dinner was too expensive at €25 each plus drinks. We were made to sit indoors for breakfast when the weather was beautiful whilst all 4 owners themselves sat outside and had breakfast! The owners constantly walk around at breakfast and share the buffet with the guests. A fridge in the room would have been nice. City tax was charged twice, once when booked and paid through booking.com and again upon check out, and as Maison Olea were unwilling to resolve, Booking.com had to refund. Great service from Booking.com.

You have to say wow when you walk into this house.
Blue painted balconies and terraced garden offer views over the valley.
The interior of the house is light and spacious and spotlessly clean. Contemporary paintings adorn the walls. There is a beautiful indoor lounge to sit in if the weather is inclement .
We had beautiful weather and were provided with plates and cutlery to eat our evening picnic meal outside on the terrace
We were able to use a fridge.
The room was spacious and very well appointed with kettle, hairdryer .
The pool on a lower terrace had lovely views over the valley.
The local town of La Bugue has a bustling market .
I can’t think of anything we didn’t like about this accommodation though it would not be suitable for anyone with limited mobility.
Dining out necessitates the use of a car
