Geraldine and George were fantastic hosts. The breakfast was continental served with lovely fresh eggs, coffee, tea and thyme honey from the bees. We also had evening meals which were excellent.
La Maison Vert Amande is perfect for a relaxing break.
The accommodation was very well maintained with meticulous attention to detail.
Nothing.

We stayed only for three nights and didn’t want to leave…
This was our first trip to Kea and thanks to Mrs Geraldine and Mrs Giorgos who made us feel really welcome they recommended us nice beaches and restaurants to visit.
Actually we didn’t want to leave this amazing and relaxing property..
we will be back soon!!!

-Very spacious room, very comfortable for two persons.
-Located in Spathi, one of the most beautiful beaches of Kea, it is a great opportunity for someone who wants to isolate and leave somewhere calm and peacefully.
-Geraldine and George were are hosts. They were both, the greatest hosts we ever had. Their warm welcome is out of this world. You enter their beautiful garden and they instantly make you feel that you join as a friend and not as a guest. Geraldine guided us through their house, how the building has been built and its history. She showed us the garden, their personal work and their beekeeping installations. Every morning, they had fresh cooked breakfast with local products.

We had a wonderful week at La Maison Vert Amande!
Hosts
Geraldine and Giorgos were the perfect hosts and made us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable and relaxing stay. They took time to chat to us and explain the hidden gems of the island.
Accommodation
LMVA is a beautiful building set in farmland containing a variety of fruit trees, vegetables, beehives and flowers. The farm has a menagerie of animals from emus to rabbits and chickens. The room was beautiful and clean with good facilities. We very much enjoyed the library of books that was available!
Food
Some of the best food we ate on our trip was cooked by Geraldine (such as the amazing breakfast and an evening meal of rabbit and spaghetti with a mustard sauce) - we would highly recommend eating at LMVA for some of your evening meals. Most of the ingredients are sourced from the farm and we really liked this sustainable element to our stay – you can taste the difference!
One of the best beaches of the island with beautiful clear waters is Spathi which is a short walk from the farm, via a footpath.

It was a wonderful stay, on one of the most beautiful parts on the island. It was lovely to meet Geraldine and Georgos and they were always there to help us. The room is beautiful and the food delicious. We'll defenitely come back.

I really think that the photos don't do justice to the place. The location was very serene and the only thing you could hear was the birds chirping. The owners are just too kind and they are always at your disposal whatever you may need. We really felt like we were staying at our mother's cottage and she did everything she could to accommodate us! I would be really happy to return soon.
The road to the property is really difficult for a conventional car, considering you will go back and forth 2-4 times a day, but it's worth it!

Once you got there it was paradise! Amazing hospitality that goes miles beyond what is expected
Be aware that you need to drive on a dirt road for five kilometers
