Bed, location, Staff good.
Breakfast poor, I booked a room with a shower and toilet in the room, but it was in a different place not in the room, it was across the hall, not clean shower room to have a shower in.
2.6
Nothing
No hand towel AT ALL
Curtains damaged
The rubbish from previous occupant was still there
Reception was barely available
Several phones call has to be made
Creepy condition of the building
2.6
Shower was hot and good power. Bed was comfortable and the room generally quiet. Free parking that seems safe.
Some hand soap would have been nice for the sink. Rooms and furniture are a little dated but still functional.
2.6
The bed was comfortable. There was hot water in the shower.
It was dirty. The breakfast area was disgusting and grimy. We chose not to eat there. The milk provided was off.
The place is in desperate need of cleaning and upgrading. Lamp shade dirty floor dirty mouldy lamp shade and mirror. The shower was filthy. Curtains stained.

Location
I never saw a staff person. TV in my room didn’t work. No tea and coffee facilities in the room. No carpet on floor. Private bathroom was across the corridor. Breakfast was inadequate; there was no one in the breakfast room to explain where to get plates, cutlery etc. Fridge needed a good cleaning. Overall decor needed to be updated or refreshed.
2.6
Absolutely nothing, avoid like the plague.
The linen had a urine stain on, my bed was damp, the TV didn't work, the bathroom was dirty (didnt even have a shower in the morning) the bread was mouldy, the kitchen and room were filthy, the food was stale, the toater is dangerous (had no pull down buttons), AVOID, AVOID AVOID.

NOTHING TO LIKE. DO NOT FALL INTO THE TRAP OF THOSE PHOTOS. WE WILL BE TAKING THEM TO COURT
EVERYTHING. WE BOOKED FOR 3 NIGHTS STAYED ONE AS IT WAS SO DISGUSTING. DO NOT BOOK HERE, THEY SCAMMED US OUT OF MONEY AND WE ARE STILL TRYING TO CLAIM IT BACK

Room extremely dirty, bathroom also a disaster. Breakfast was cold can beans, unwashed cucumber and tomato ahd you could make a toast. Thats it for the price.
It was really scary and dirty. Location not too bad but you need to walk 20-30 mins to get to any shops or pubs around the area.

Lots of free parking spaces behind the building. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. Nice choice of cereals and jams for breakfast, and the room was very clean. A simple yet effective sign in system. No interaction with staff as I arrived late and dropped off the key in a box - it suited me just fine since the room had everything I needed.
The building is quite old and there is little insulation against noise. A lick of paint in the corridor, modern furniture and perhaps some decorations in the room wouldn’t go amiss ; it had a nunnery feel when I first walked in. Only one towel and no shower gel. However, did any of that keep me from getting a good night’s sleep? No. Not the most aesthetically pleasing room I’ve slept in, but very functional. I will likely go back on my next trip.

The location was good for me not in Cambridge but a 40 min walk and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The guest house was fine for my needs.
2.6
Plenty of off road parking. In good location.
2.6
WIfi was good
Didn't see anyone managing the property. Toilet dirty. Empty packet of crisps on top of flimsy wardrobe. Shower hose broken.
2.6
Cheap and cheerful exactly what I was expecting room was small clean and comfortable
Breakfast was a bit gloomy
2.6
was clean cosy and value for cost
2.6
When I booked a private bathroom, I assumed it would be en suite. Granted the description never said en suite, but a bathroom across the corridor was a surprise.
2.6
i didn’t like anything about this property
everything
2.6
The location was ok plus parking was good
No tea or coffee facility's in room everywhere we've stayed has had it

The room and adjoining bathroom was clean and tidy, bed linen was very clean and the beds were comfortable. TV and wi-fi worked well. The continental breakfast had a good variety of cereals, and a sufficient variety of ham, sausage and salad options. Tea and coffee was available throughout our stay. Also there was plenty of parking space available.
The stairs and corridors were dimly lit and the dining room was a bit dated, these areas would benefit from some TLC.
2.6
Nothing.
The bathroom has not been cleaned for a long time. The room was very downgraded. We have got only one towel for 2 people. Nobody was there in the evening to ask for another one. The whole place had a negative atmosphere. It felt like I was in an old dormitary with paper walls.
2.6
Not impressed with the breakfast. The varieties were small and the fruits were not looking fresh. I suggest there should be a variety of freshly prepared hot meals for breakfast.
The welcome staff was friendly, pretty polite and considerate even when I unknowingly overshot my checking out time by some minutes.

My guest arrived at this property and straight away was approached by a young man who he thought was going to direct him where to park.
However when he wound his window down the young man, who my guest realised was smoking weed, told him that he and his friends, who were stood behind him, that they were going to steal his car that night.
My guest left straight away as he felt so threatened.
I would not recommend this property to anyone and certainly not to female guests.
I emailed the property management through Booking.com to make them aware of the situation and also to request a refund given the circumstances but was refused.

Not the staff
No empathy to a disabled traveller. On requesting a ground floor room and with at least 8 room unoccupied, the owner ignored the request and made me use an upstairs room.
Will not return.
2.6
It was in a good location and the beds were comfortable. We also had an ensuite shower room. Close to a regular bus route.
We only had one towel between two of us. Tea making facilities in the room would have been good.
2.6
Accessibility to the lodge has been my main reason for choosing it. The room and bathroom was always clean.
The smoking just outside of the room windows.
The cleanliness of the corridors was somewhat off putting.
2.6
Bed was comfortable and shower hot. Location good for my purposes.
Room not as clean as it should have been. Bathroom was across the corridor. Front door unlocked at night so didn't like leaving my room for the bathroom. Breakfast very basic. Didn't see any staff.
2.6
The bed was comfortable if squeaky.
The entire environment was not what we expected, there was considerable rubbish and general tattiness in the car park and immediate surroundings. Everything appeared tired and grubby inside and out including the reception area and the common areas. Smoking and coughing morning and evening guests outside our bedroom window wasn't welcome.
