We were in the region to host a training camp for many ultra runners participating in the GPT 100 Miler event scheduled for November.
This place was perfect for the coaches and camp organisers to re charge between sessions.
Fantastic spot and open plan living and kitchen that worked for the group stay.

MAGNIFICENT
Wow - thank you for our welcome gift. All the comforts of home. we used the fire every night, thank you for your bundles of carefully tied twigs. Loved the Liquid Amber Tree out the front - we had many a leaf fight. Our beds were like sleeping on clouds. We cooked some of our meals and found everything we needed. Your home is well equipped down to the laundry detergent, individually bagged. It was great to have a large fenced property for the kids to get out and enjoy riding and walking with the kangaroos. Your home is a credit to you and your team. Thankyou .

Under the Pinnacle means under the pinnacle!
Absolutely loved our stay. The house was extremely clean and well maintained. It had everything you needed. Location was fantastic. Great setting and close to everything. You could see the pinnacle lookout from the backyard. Lots of wildlife visited from birds to kangaroos. Sunrise on the pinnacle was amazing. We could see ourselves living there. Would recommend to anyone to stay at the property.

Great time
We had a lovely time at your place. Clean and well presented accommodation. The bunk beds were a bit squeaky and therefore my son had to sleep in the lounge room. Had a great weekend in Halls Gap. Great place for a holiday. We will return.

Can't go past 'Under the Pinnacle'Halls Gap
Whether you are a couple, a family, or even two families, we consider 'Under the Pinnacle' the best accommodation in Halls Gap [where the majority of accommodation is on top of each other with only a breath between each]. This is our second stay and the home has been newly renovated. It was perfect before and I can't give it more than 5 stars again. Karen and Brian are amazing hosts and are generous with all the quality inclusions in the home. They are also very gracious with their communications to ensure that everything is just right! Once again the animals visited us whilst we sat outside and soaked in the amazing everchanging colours of the environs around us.

Sensational!!!!!!
This property is absolutely sensational. The property has everything you need and more. Plenty of room inside and out. Karen and Brian have thought of everything and a beautiful welcome message, chocolates, and wine were a special touch. The views were spectacular. Plenty of outdoor sitting areas to take in the surrounds. I could go on forever. If you are considering a stay in halls gaps put under the pinnacle on top of your list.

Heaven under the Pinnacle
WOW! On a rating 1-5, where 5 is the highest, we would rate this accommodation as 10! Apart from being very reasonably priced, everything any one [or family] would need for their stay - whether it is for one night or two weeks - is available. There is ample space inside and outside to relax or for the kids to run around. Complete sets of quality crockery/cutlery/glassware and kitchenware. Small thoughtful touches such as a welcome card, chocolates, playing cards and a bottle of wine was a pleasant surprise. The kitchen pantry was very well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and there was extra manchester and towels if required. Wildlife greets you morning and evening with some very friendly locals! We have travelled around Australia and stayed in similar accommodation throughout and this is definitely one of the best! Karen was a great host!

Great Stay
Enjoyed ourselves immensely. I called out at the top of the Pinnacle from the lookout and my friend heard me from the property! The place was more than adequate for our needs and we had 3 couples. The nature that came round at 5pm for nightly feeds including 20 cockatoos was amazing. Kangaroos fought on the back grass area too. Wonderful stay.

Amazing experience as always. We love the property and hope to be back again soon. There is sometimes quite a bit of noise from the neighbour opposite during the night (music/ partying) which is a shame but apart from that as always simply sensational stay.

good acomodation
This was our first visit to Halls Gap and we were celebrating my sisters 60th birthday with a 3 day stay here together as a family. On arrival there was no power, which continued until about midnight that night - no fault of the owner, but they were kind enough to remain in contact to ensure it was restored in reasonable time, and offered us an additional nights stay to compensate, which due to other commitments we were unable to accept.
We found the property to be spacious and overall clean and tidy, if not a little tired from the summer visits, The furnishings are a little old fashioned and some would benefit from replacement, but we all felt very comfortable there for our 3 night stay.
The daily visits from Kangaroos, Kookaburra, Cockatoos and many other birds was a real bonus - we could so easily have simply sat in the house watching all day - but there was far too much else to see in the area!
There are limited eating venues available in Halls Gap, but we ate out somewhere different each night and couldn't fault any of the restaurants.
Overall we had a really good time, thank you

Peaceful
Pity we only had two nights. Everything was excellent, right down to the little details. Definitely the best accomodation we have had in the Grampians, and we have stayed in quite. Few places over the years. Will definitely stay again.

Great location and ideal for a family.
Our first time in the Grampians and we were not disappointed. What a beautiful place to visit and our accommodation was perfect for our family. Ideal for families, clean and a perfect location for our getaway. Thank you for your hospitality.

Great base to enjoy the Grampians
This is our second stay at this property. Very quiet location with plenty of kangaroo activity outside the windows and a fantastic view of The Pinnacle out the back windows. Plenty of parking.
Booking and communication with the owner was efficient and friendly. The welcome gifts were a lovely touch (thank you).
The house has plenty of communal space and suits two small families. Everything that we needed was provided although I would suggest an additional tea towel or two.
Main beds were comfortable. Feedback from the bunk users was that they were a little on the hard side. The fire heated the whole house really well. The addition of ceiling light fans has improved the lighting. I have only one reason for not giving 5 stars and that is the noisy hot water. If the tap in the bathroom or kitchen is turned on slowly, there is a loud water hammer noise heard throughout the house. If the taps are turned on more fully, all OK.
Overall we really enjoy using this house and would do so again.
