Not a B&B however biscuits, fresh milk, sugar coffee and tea were provided/
Also a show through the brochure the owners had compiled of places to visit. Including local takeaways and recommended restaurants.

Beautiful views, could not fault the location. Big windows which looked over the fields. Cosy converted barn with beautiful beams and rustic feel. All necessary appliances. Host has lots of info on the local area
I would have preferred more info about collecting the keys prior to arrival. We ended up going to the farm house as we weren't sure. Although there was room for 4 of us it was cosy!
4.5
It was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay
Could do with more sockets in the bedroom and there was no shaver docket in the bathroom.
The property was also cold even though we had the heating on.
4.5
Exceptional cottage, location, and hosts.

The location was beautiful. We were out in the countryside, but close enough to local amenities such as the local supermarket etc. We as a family had travelled to go to Alton Towers and we were just a 20 minute drive there each day,
We loved everything about our stay.

The view was great. The house offered lots of space for the 5 of us.
I would have prefered some black out blinds on the bedroom windows.

Such a lovely cottage. The owners couldn't be more welcoming accommodating and helpful. It made our trip absolutely wonderful. Their cottages were well appointed and still comfortable, not prissy. Which meant we could relax and enjoy a warm meal together rather than worrying about smudging some fancy glassware. Tommy only added to the experience.

Nothing negative to say!

Lovely, spacious property with fantastic views. The kitchen had everything you would find in your own home in terms of pots/pans/crockery/cutlery and there was milk in the fridge for us too. Kath met us with the keys when we arrived and had the kind thought to put the heating on ready for our arrival.

Lovely helpful chat with kath and her husband. Lovely views .... even in the rain! Easy to find.
No one fault as the property is grade 2 listed... but is a creaky floor boards kind of place.... difficult with a sleeping baby and trying to creep about!! 🤣

Loved how homely the property was. The host made sure we had milk and biscuits for a cup of tea and everything was so clean.

The cottage was lovely and Kathy was a very helpful host throughout. The view from the cottage was amazing. We would definitely stay again.
1.5
the only positive about the property was the location and the views
The bed was terrible , very hard with a very old , very heavy and uncomfortable duvet. the whole house needs complete renovation and be brought up to the 21st century! the wifi didn’t work either. We didn’t sleep at all. also the owner put us up in another property first but moved us after 5 mins saying we were in the wrong property! we were not impressed to have to pack everything back in the car and move again after our long drive to get there.
4.5
Lovely property and great for visiting Alton towers. Host was lovely. Farm and scenery an added bonus. Tea, coffee and biscuits a lovely touch.
Decor a little dated

So homely, practical and wonderful to stay with children. Wish we’d booked to stay longer!

Good location, excellent service and clean
There is only two small windows in the whole cottage, it was boiling hot with two small children we all had to sleep downstairs as upstairs was unbearable
