Wir würden nicht nochmal buchen.

Lage ist fußläufig ca. 15min vom Strand entfernt. Zudem mehrere kleine Geschäfte in der unmittelbaren Nähe.

Die Zimmer sind schon ein bisschen abgenutzt und in die Jahre gekommen. Auch war bei uns das Badezimmer nicht vollständig gemauert. Deshalb hatten wir Nachts sehr viele Mücken. So ca. 1-2 mal am Tag hatten wir kein fließend Wasser und mussten zuerst das Personal darum bitten es wieder anzustellen. Dies ist vor allem dann nervig, wenn man voll eingeseift unter der Dusche steht. Immerhin konnte das Personal es schnell wieder anstellen. Das WLAN war am Abend absolut überlastet und somit nicht mehr zu benutzen. Der Poolbereich sieht auf den Bildern ganz cool aus, ABER es roch die meiste Zeit nach faulen Eiern. Das machte das Entspannen schwierig. Auch lief alle 5 min eine Wasserpumpe die ein unangenehmes Geräusch erzeugte. Das Abendessen in der Unterkunft kann ich nicht empfehlen. Zum Einen waren nicht die angegebenen Zutaten enthalten (es fehlte die Hälfte). Zum Anderen stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht wirklich. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Sauberkeit war moderat. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass unser Bettlaken nicht gewaschen wurde, da es teilweise Flecken hatte. Die Handtücher waren feucht und rochen alles andere als frisch. Klopapier wurde erst auf Nachfrage ausgegeben. Po-Dusche war defekt. Insgesamt würden wir das Hotel nicht noch einmal buchen. In der Umgebung gibt es sicherlich bessere.

Would definitely avoid and head to Kuta, which has more going on and value for money

The Wi-Fi didn’t work in all rooms, they were dirty cockroaches in both rooms I was in, the place is right next to a mosque, so you’ll be woken up to the prayers at 4 am and various other time throughout the day. As well as a very noisy rooster next door, leaving one side of the place unbearable to sleep

Goede plek om paar dagen in buurt van strand te bivakkeren.

Mooi strand 10-15 minuten lopen, keurig 'resort', nette kamer. Buren verhuren scootertjes als je wat verderop wilt kijken.

Wat karig ontbijt, net maar wat klein zwembad.

Exceptional

The staff were exceptional. They organised a scooter as well as transport to my next destination for me. I was also able to get my breakfast a bit earlier, as I was going diving and had to head out early. The chillout area around the pool and in front of the rooms is great as well.

Nice staff, clean rooms, convenient location. You should definitely try surfing here. The instructor patiently explained every little detail and helped me ride the waves

Perfect stay for surfing and relaxing

Location its perfect. Next to beautiful long sandy beach with stunning sunset. Also next to Mawi beach perfect for intermediate and advanced surfing. I woke up early every day and i went there. Cozy rooms and friendly staff. The pool is clean and good and no mosquitos . They have restaurant for dinner and nice granola for breakfast

Nice staff but incompleted the facilities

Very nice staff, excellent service mind

- I stayed on the 2nd floor, the sewer in the bathroom seems clogged. And no blocked step for the gap between the bathroom and bedroom. - No drinking water in the room - No hair dryer - No toilet kit except for soap and shampoo

Great place to chill and relax!

We had a great time in Selong Belanak. Location was perfect, close to Mawi for surfing and less than 7min walking to the beach for enjoying sunset. We had delicious breakfast next to the pool every norning. The rooms were clean, with hot water and ac. Staff was super friendly and always ready to help. Also, we did the snorkel trip to the secret island and it was sooo cool!

Nature, relax, happiness

Best location to the beaches around, local, authentic and rural area. The stuff is very nice and kind, ready to help you and give you some advices. Very good surf teacher, awesome spot to practice yoga, nice swimming pool and 4 delicious options breakfast. You have your private room, but is a nice place to connect and share with more travelers.

The breakfast.

It wasn't sealed well and the mozzies were ridiculous. No tea/coffee making facitities. The pillows were too flat, although that's subjective. The wifi was spotty.

Gibs made my stay the best!

Gibs was AMAZING!!!! He was so so welcoming and so friendly. He took me on lots of surf lessons and I progressed in my skills so well because of him. He was so patient with me and always put me on many waves each lesson. I highly recommend Gibs for surf lessons, he is so considerate and such a great teacher!!

close to the beach lovely staff swimming pool lots of locals around

too many mosquitos, they bit me on my face and eyes :( stains of blood everywhere on walls and bed linen, probably due to people killing the above mentioned

Had to leave earlier, without even refund

The location is quite convenient, friendly staff at the spot, cute looking room.

Heads up, they don’t have late check in, had to message prior to arrange staff to wait and meet us at night (for symbolic extra change) The air conditioner in the room didn’t work, messeged them about it, no one ever answered me, so we ended up leaving earlier without any refund… Wi-fi signal was super unstable, couldn’t do any online calls. Overall quite poor customer support

Good beds and nice staff

Staff was really lovely, especially Gib’s surflessons. The place is really close to the beach, where you can surf as a beginner. Room was nice.

The pool wasn’t working. The owners should really fix the place, it’s getting old an ugly. It doesn’t match the pictures anymore.

we booked 4 rooms and 3 rooms were the AC not working!! we barely slept and had the worst night unfortunately. staff was nowhere to find and couldn’t reach anyone

Not like the photos! But still a nice place.

Room was clean and comfortable. Air con worked well. They let me leave my bag early so i could go to the beach. Staff were helpful. Lots of electrical sockets well situated fpr charging everything. Place was calm and quiet. Good value for money. Walking distance to beach so no scooter hire needed. (10 mins)

The pool was broken and very dirty and green, as was some of the outside paving area.. needed a good scrub. The breakfast was very simple - 2 pieces of toast with eggs and Lombok cofee. (Few variations like you usually get). Not all the lights worked (but there were quite a few) Absolutely nothing like the photos! With excepton to inside the rooms, they did look pretty like the photos!

At least, they were kind enough to call us a taxi…

- The pool wasn’t working for weeks, as we saw later on other people comments, but they didn’t notice it before our arrival… - The room wasn’t really clean, and it was FULL of mosquitos and other insects - The A/C wasn’t working - The images don’t match the reality After seeing all this, we decided to move to another hotel, because we just wanted to enjoy our short holidays. We offered to pay the first night, and get a refund for the other 3, but they refuse even we didn’t sleep any single night in there.
