Very clean
It was good

We really enjoyed our stay in the cozy nook. The location on the edge of Portishead right by the sea was just great for extended walks along the coastal trail. There's a bus stop very close to the apartment making it easy to schlepp our shopping from Clevedon or downtown Portishead. The view of the sea and estuary from the bedroom window was quite something. Milk, tea, coffee and cookies were at the ready when we arrived making us feel most welcome. Communication with our hosts was helpful and prompt. Great shower, too. We'd love to come again.
Nothing to complain about.

Fabulous little place, everything you could need for your stay provided..excellent view, clean and comfortable

A fantastic self-contained apartment with everything that you need for a short stay. I work for a business in the area and stop over quite regularly and I am so glad that I have found this place. It will be the first place I check availability for in the future!
Nothing - Everything was excellent!

Everything provided. Good to have milk, tea, coffees and biscuits on arrival. Along with cereal and orange juice. Host friendly. Nice place to chill out. Very clean.
Nothing to fault.
4.7
Comfortable place with a lovely view of the estuary. Peaceful location. Hosts had emailed prior to my stay and welcomed me.
The driveway is very steep and narrow. It's difficult with other cars parked at the top to turn round, so you have to reverse back down the drive onto a road that's on a bend. I guess you'd get used to it but for guests staying just a night or two I think it's worth giving them prior warning.

The host was outside the property when we arrived so the keys were made available immediately. Milk and orange juice in the fridge was appreciated on our arrival. Host was very pleasant and informative, giving us suggestions of local attractions that he enjoyed.
The accommodation was sufficient for our needs and we found nothing to complain about during our visit.

I liked the straightforward process that wasn't tied to my arrival at a particular time (as I was travelling from Scotland, I couldn't guarantee an exact time).
It was a fabulous compact accommodation that had everything I needed - particularly loved being able to make a cuppa on arrival after a long drive!
The complimentary toiletries were lovely smelling.
Nothing, it was very well appointed.

We were only able to book this overnight stay mid-afternoon on the day and arrived only three hours later and the room was ready. The location is very quiet, peaceful and comfortable, completely separate from the host's house.
Had a nice meal at The Windmill pub and spent a pleasant evening by Portishead marina and popped into the Siren's Calling - well worth a visit.
On booking, Booking.com emailed an incorrect code to the key lock box. David, our host, had emailed the correct code but this was after we had set off and so we didn't receive it. Fortunately, David was in and was able to let us in.

Very comfortable stay, pity the weather wasn’t better to enjoy the afternoon sun at the outside table. Good kitchen and bathroom, very comfortable bed
Stairs a bit steep but that’s a minor point.

Close to walks, a mile from a good pub, really clean, great shower. A really cosy little place!
Nothing
4.7
Lovely place, clean tidy and modern, a great base to explore from.
Nothing within walking distance to do, shops, pubs, ect, all a distance a way. Not a reflection on the accommodation quality. Just generally disappointed with portishead itself, my fault as I rushed my research as the stay was last minute
4.7
Super views & super clean with nice touches such as milk tea/coffee and even orange juice along with shredded wheat.
It exceeded our expectations.
Nothing to dislike.
4.7
Clean. Comfortable great attention to detail. All self catering needs catered for

The location and especially the wonderful views across the river suited us well. The accommodation was well equipped and very comfortable. We found plenty to do locally, with National Trust properties and the facilities at Clevedon and Portishead Marina nearby.
4.7
It was a very easy location and everything was very well planned
Nothing except maybe a fan as it was very hot but that's it
4.7
Stunning view, excellent, clean property, relaxing environment

The location is very good for coastal walks. A very quiet location and a clean and comfortable space. Especially spacious because I was travelling alone.
There was no coffee maker, which was immediately supplied by the owners upon my request.
Non of knifes was sharp, an issue that owners said they would take care off.
The tap water is very chlorinated, too much for my taste, hence a water filter would be useful. I bought a huge bottle of still water.

Loved the view. Appreciated having milk, orange juice and some cereal available.
Very happy with whole visit

Friendly hosts. Excellent view of the bay. Claen & tidy rooms
All was excellent.
4.7
Location, kitchen equipment, comfort of bed and sofa and excellent shower and bathroom.
4.7
Great position. Lovely place.Owners left milk, biscuits, cereals, tea, coffee which was much appreciated.
4.7
The view from the property and layout was good.
The bed was very uncomfortable and there was a lot of noise from the adjoining property. This woke us up early. The shower also didn’t drain properly and the shared driveway was awkward.
4.7
Small but comfortable with excellent shower and all the facilities you’d need for self-catering. Great view of the Severn Estuary and beautiful sunsets. There are chairs and table outside the front door next to a planted retaining wall, not sure I would refer to this as a terrace, patio or garden, but good for watching the sun set. Quiet area. Bathroom downstairs.
Drive is narrow and steep; we weren’t aware of this or that others had had issues, until the owner messaged along with the key access code, by then too late to cancel. Stairs are also narrow and steep. I have health conditions that made both difficult for me and, with a large car and the size of the drive we did not feel confident that there was sufficient space to easily park in the drive with owners 2 cars so parked on the road. Also, there was a periodic smell of drains. Wi-Fi was hit and miss, so husband had to use data when he was working.
It would be helpful for the owners to share on their listing, so available before booking, that the drive is shared with two other cars, is narrow and steep and that there are steep stairs to the bedroom which may make this not suitable for any one with limited mobility.

It was beautifully decorated and perfectly clean. The kitchen was very well equipped and the hosts put some milk in the fridge for me and left me some nibbles. It was very quiet with a view of the sea and the hosts left some binoculars for me to use.
It wasn't quite warm enough and it took me 15 minutes to work out how to use the microwave.
4.7
Stunning location and comfortable accommodation
Lounge/kitchen area could have been bigger if anything

Clean, cozy, felt safe, well appointed, so quiet, lovely views and walks from the doorstep. Nothing to dislike.
