I am a returning visitor to mevagissey , breathtaking village peaceful and not too many tourists . The cottage was comfortable spacious enough everything there even a dog bed ( which we didn’t use)
Only two small gripes , no ironing board , and the hot water is set to a quite low temperature overlooking these everything else was perfect .

Poor shower .. emersion heater for bath was slow and not efficient

Close to centre. Near to convenient parking. Cottage very comfortable.
Instructions how to use cooker and hob would be useful.

Very handy as in the village and the balcony came in handy. Plenty of kitchen utensils.
We’ve stayed before and the place is starting to look a bit tired. The walls of in the lounge need painting as it’s flaking off. The bathroom could also do with a lick of paint. The kitchen ceiling needs touching up as well.

Great location. Quirky with a homely feel
Property is a little tired, bathroom blind doesn’t work, holes in the net curtains, paintwork in the living room needs refreshing.. its the wall you look at to watch TV so my eyes were drawn to the missing paint. Was not possible to have a bath, water tank must be tiny as one inch of water in bath and water ran cold. Emerson heater on for 2 hrs. Shower is okay though.

We loved everything about the property. Was so welcoming and homely, with a family feeling. Lovely spotless kitchen, comfortable lounge with everything for our cosy log burner evenings. Quirky floors upstairs come with the age and well loved property. A stone’s throw from the Fountain Inn and harbour. So good we are booking again for September 😄
Another night!!!😄😄☀️

Location was great, parking convenient, large well equipped kitchen. Very cosy in living room. Like staying with your auntie.
Cold tap did not turn in bathroom so was unusable, sink in bedroom was loose off wall. House cold on arrival (was February though) beds were uncomfortable mattress was springy.

The location was fantastic, we were less than 10 minutes to the harbour (walking) and all the amenities like the pub! The cottage has a homely friendly feel and it was extremely clean. It’s a lovely old building with lots of quirks, we loved the wonky floors! The kitchen is well equipped and even has a dish washer which was nice. Also a hairdryer and set of straighteners were provided which was also a nice touch.
Nothing really. I suppose if I had to make one criticism, not supplying towels is fine but at least a hand towel in the bathroom would have been useful, and a bit more loo roll!

Great location, everything to hand, easy parking, decent wi-fi.
Lovely area perfect for a weeks holiday.
Lack of outdoor space, balcony through the 2nd bedroom. Front door opens directly onto the 1 way rd.
Tired mattresses. Main bed very comfy, two singles ok for kids maybe not adults.
We would book again so only minor niggles really.
Booking.com door code was wrong so had to call the host but easily fixed.

First self catering home I have stayed in that actually felt like a home and not 'cold'. Felt like you were actually in someone's home, rather than a house devoid of warmth. Very well equipped, like a normal home. Two minute walk to heart of Mevagissey. You couldn't get much closer.
The two other guests were adults. They were happy to sleep in single beds. Unfortunately, the beds were noisy when you moved, small singles and uncomfortable. Single bedroom needs blackout curtains or to ask carpark to turn lights down/off that face the windows. The room was exceptionally bright to try and sleep in. If children were in the room, it would no doubt be fine for them. Plumbing needs attention as the taps in the sink in double room and bathroom are tough to turn, particularly the cold taps.

The location was convenient and it was lovely being so near to the harbour (just a short walk) the cottage was very clean and well equipped kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Wifi was good. Carpark literally at the back of cottage and good value at £6 a day, the cottage itself was good value and we would certainly recommend it to others.
The door opens on to a very narrow street so beware with young children as the street is quite busy with vehicles. Take own toilet rolls as we only had one left for us and also own hand soap for bathroom. Shower works independently but no constant hot water, there is an emersion heater which takes about 2 hours and owners request it is turned off once water is heated but there is a dish washer which was good.

The cottage is ideally located and just a short walk to the harbour.
It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Wi-fi is excellent for anyone wanting it
The cottage is old and as you would expect quirky. However, some areas could do with improvement. Blind in bathroom could do with replacing and a little bit of maintenance would improve rating from good to excellent.

Absolutely delightful cottage just a quick walk to the harbour. Clean with everything we needed and more. Car park right next to property.

Nice kitchen, good size, good facilities
Awful location, front door directly onto road, dark living room, radiator in kitchen didn't work, shower pressure pitiful

great location convenient to the town and parking

The cottage was close to the harbour.
The property was dated, and run down, the heating didn't work sufficiently, we had to supply our own. Furniture was old and stained. Not suitable for constant letting. No attention to detail ie curtains not hung properly. Floors uneven, plaster coming off walls and white paint powder still on walls. Shower didn't work properly needs replacing. Water never got hot enough.

The bed was ok but could do with upgrading. Drinking glass selection was poor. Cupboard full of half used opened food belonging to other people needs. Throwing out - who would want to use that?!

lovely kitchen. parking next door. charge £8 a day
bathroom sink taps can not turn on.
bedding not great. pillows need replacing

spotlessly clean, so well equipped, absolutely everything you could possibly need and more! property is a real hone from home, location is perfect, parking close by. a beautiful old property with all mod cons, even a washing machine and dishwasher! perfect for coupes and families
not suitable for disabled access, it is an old property with low ceilings and wonky floors, shower is over the bath so access not easy. best suited to able bodied. the single beds were a little uncomfortable and maybe not really suited to larger over 50s ladies 😂

It was close to the harbour and on the level. It was clean and was properly equipped. The rooms were a good size. It had a terrace of sorts. The kitchen and bathroom looked recently updated.
The cottage opened straight into a busy narrow lane. The decor and furnishings need refreshing. The parking was in a largeish car park immediately behind the property.
