This picturesque hideaway is your perfect getaway retreat. Located behind a private gate on the historic Kincaid Ranch and secluded Trancas Vineyards, overlooking Zuma Beach, just 1 mile from amenities and Malibu’s main thoroughfare, Pacific Coast Highway. This cottage backs up to the Santa Monica Mountains National Park with direct access to hiking/biking trails. You can surround yourself in the peace and quiet of nature or get out and explore all that Malibu has to offer. The cottage is conveniently located to our community Vintage Market, dining, shops and corner Starbucks,

Luxurious finishes, featuring quartz counter tops and stainless appliances, including a dishwasher, in the custom full kitchen. Each bathroom highlights Italian tile, Carrera marble, fresh white towels, rain shower head and pebble shower floor. The bedroom furniture and sliding barn doors are custom handcrafted. Crisp white linens and comfy pillows adorn each queen size bed. Well-appointed furnishings complete the living, dining space, including a large screen 4K television with YouTube TV and Netflix. The large covered patio enjoys a living wall for privacy, al fresco dining area and outdoor seating all overlooking a spectacular whitewater ocean view. A shared laundry room, with 2 washing machines and 2 dryers are available for your convenience. Stay connected with free WIFI and high speed internet connection.

Walls of glass draw the outside into every living and sleeping area. Wake up to the stunning white water ocean view. Dine inside or alfresco on the covered porch. This is a wonderful spot! The cottage is set on a former vineyard - the vines are still growing! If you look south, you look over Malibu and the Pacific Ocean. If you look north, you will be looking at views over the vineyards and into a scenic canyon. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the comfortable chairs, looking at the views and watching a flock of wild parrots fly around. The cottage has two units. Although the other unit was also occupied, we felt very private and secluded and hardly saw or heard the other guests. The home was very clean and very well supplied. A wonderful experience! We will be back.

Girls weekend! Friday night concert at Trance's Market. Saturday we didn’t leave the Trancus Vineyard property. Had a great time playing games, noshing, and catching up. The views are wonderful. Nice grassy knoll and patio. Thank you Robin for this great escape.

The location of this property is beautiful, and the house was clean and well-designed. We were a group of 3 adults, and the 2 bedroom space was perfect for our needs for a quick two-night visit to the area.

This wonderful property is on the top of a mountain, with breathtaking views of the valley. The front faces an ocean view. The grounds are spectacular and the house is perfectly equipped and appointed. We had a lovely stay

We SO enjoyed our stay at Robin’s place. The front porch overlooks the ocean, and the back area has gorgeous views of the mountains. The layout was perfect, with an en-suite on each side of the living area and kitchen. Perfect for two couples, or in our case, a family traveling with kids. Robin was so communicative and gave us suggestions that made our trip truly memorable. Vintage Grocers, just down the hill, had great prepared food options, and the local beaches were absolutely gorgeous. We can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful secluded property and views of the ocean, old vineyard and canyon. It was so wonderful to come home from the hustle and bustle of Malibu each day to our little oasis. Sitting on the porch with a glass of wine and enjoying the sunset was sublime. Robin was a wonderful, responsive host. We would definitely come back again!

We had the most amazing few days in one of our favorite places. This is our 4th time staying here and we absolutely love it. The views of the ocean and mountains are amazing early morning and as the sun goes down in the evening. Very quiet and peaceful with trails into the Santa Monica mountains and glorious views of the ocean below. Enjoy Broad beach and the endless views it has. Full kitchen, living room and beautiful bedrooms. We find it hard to leave this beautiful place every time ... until the next time. Thank you so much Robin.

Stayed here with spouse and teenaged children in July. Everyone loved the place immediately and we had a great time in Malibu. This was the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. The views of ocean and mountains are amazing and the place is quiet and peaceful yet so close to everything. Highly recommend!

This was a lovely property in north Malibu perched back on the hillsides. There is a small vineyard behind with trails. The home is a duplex, yet no one was there save one (two?) night(s). Small local shops are at the end of the road. I had a very peaceful time there. Lastly the homeowners were fantastically responsive and engaged.

Amazing property! The location has a view of the ocean on one side and canyon/vineyard views on the other. Our only complaint was that due to the conference we missed being there during the day. It was a bit of a commute to Pepperdine, but we loved the location. The beach below offered a perfect spot to walk in the evenings!

Perfect location, perfect views, perfect everything! We spent our daughter's graduation weekend here. Great location to easily get back and forth to Pepperdine. We had several lovely dinners on the patio looking at the ocean and spent the afternoons taking in the mountain view. Minutes from amazing Zuma beach, groceries, and coffee. Communication was easy and responsive. I hope we get to come back again!

Our cottage was comfortable, clean & had everything we needed for cooking a meal in. The floor to ceiling windows provided sunlight & openness but more importantly the ocean views and waking up to the sunrise was the cherry on top. The host was kind, helpful and very attentive when I reached out. I would recommend this place and would love to come back with my family! Thank you for providing this beautiful space at such a reasonable price.

Fabulous property, low key, highly functional, great views and access to hiking and seaside activities. Good grocery shopping nearby site - great for mobility challenged. BUT - VRBO gave me incorrect number for host and I was wanting at least a 24 hour check in confirmation from him/her. Left multiple messages on wrong number, finally got VRBO help centre and they couldnt raise host on wrong number which was then disconnected. On day of check in (Friday 18th November) with family arriving to meet us and no confirmation of access, I did get a good explanatory/welcome email. I had already scouted other places in the area and was willing to cancel my booking but could not as informed by VRBO until 4pm the time of check in, when they would have "found us accommodation for one night" and then rehoused us....etc. etc. all to say - having organized this reunion and paid in full - 24 hours of anxiety and potential reorganization could have been avoided by VRBO having host contact info correct, and host contacting me with final details 48 hours prior to arrival. (Consider reviewing your policy VRBO and having penalty for hosts) All's well that ends well - we will be back to visit for longer, now we know the ropes and have confidence in the host Robin, who has delivered an excellent location for a meeting place for our family from Canada and our son from LA. Thank you.

There were a few issues pertaining to the Wi-Fi being down but the host worked for 2 days to resolve the problem and offered us a discount for the inconvenience. Everything else was very nice. Beautiful views!!
