Tout était sublime, le moulin, la vue, l’accueil et la gentillesse de l’hôte.

Amazing place and wonderful host. Cleaning every day. Location is really perfect for exploring the island. Easy to park car.

Amazing destination which was the crowning jewel of our holiday.
Perfect backdrop to many afternoons of drinks and relaxation.
Would be great if a fan could be provided in each room but it was not such a problem.

The view was amazing and the landscaping was really great to sit in the evenings with a glass of wine.
I loved everything!

Aircon or just some ceiling fans would go a long way.

We loved everything. The place is old, but so charming and fun to stay in…… the view was everything and Maria was lovely. There was water for us, shampoo, plenty of towels etc.

This accomodation is extraordinary. It was above our (already high) expectations. The interior, the furniture and everything is arranged with much attention to detail. You feel a bit like in a museum but at the same time it is very modern, comfortable and excellently equipped. The view from the mill above Milos island is great. The landlord was very kind and very service-oriented giving us a lot of nice recommendations to explore Milos. There is even house cleaning during the stay at the mill. We wished we could have stayed longer in this truly unique place. We never had a holiday accomodation like this before. Once we come back to Milos, Windmill Karamitsos will be our first choice.
Everything perfect.

This is much more than an hotel, it is a lovely experience!
The windmill is actually 2 buildings in a nice garden. On one side you have the kitchen and bathroom and on the other side you have the 3 floors windmill. The decoration is like in the good old days, lovely.
Giannis is super friendly and helpful. He welcomed us on time and took the time to show us the property and gave us excellent advices.
He also helped us getting a rental car in the harbor by driving me there in the next morning.
Thank you for making our stay so unforgettable!

The buildings were rustic, but adorable. The feeling in the round windmill rooms with the wind blowing was great. The whole setup with garden, grill, many benches, lots of options for shade was great.
The view was incredible. We were able to observe both sunset and sunrise in one of the best locations on the island.
In general the location was great and super-convenient. A small town with a very nice tavern was just a couple of minutes walking distance and the island capital was 3 minutes drive away.
The on-site staff was very nice and super-helpful. They were available for our needs any time.
It was cleaned every second day and beach towels were provided in addition to the bathroom towels.
Issues: Air-conditioning (none), Payment, Ants - details below.
There is no air conditioning, even though it is advertised via booking.com. The two rooms in the Windmill itself are ok without air-conditioning (but with open windows). The room in the separate building was boiling hot at night. Windows couldn't be opened because of mosquitoes.
The payment wasn't done via booking.com or in cash. Instead, the credit card information was entered into a POS terminal in Athens. Obviously, booking.com doesn't hand over the CVV code required for such a transaction and I was pressured to provide it on the phone (alternative modes of payment like a proposed wire transfer were rejected by the host).
There were ants in both buildings, but as long as no food or food-like substances are left outside, they are no trouble.
The main bathroom (with a real shower) is in the small separate building - which we were warned about, but is inconvenient. Similarly the toilet is on the ground floor - we knew about it beforehand, but still inconvenient at night.
