Exceeded expectations

Emanuelle was an amazing host. The rooms were excellent and Carcassonne was an excellent place to visit. We wish we'd stayed longer.

Exceptional

Great host Emmanuelle was friendly helpful and enthusiastic about her establishment . The hotel was well placed for the Medieval City and The New Town Emmanuelle has restored the property in a very sympathetic fashion .We had a lovely room on the second with a large walk in shower and light comfortable neds. Breakfast was made with local products . Emmanuelle sat with ourselves and other guests .who were French which was interesting and convivial . Carcassone is a beautiful city and this is a great local hotel to enjoy the experience

A bit expensive for the location

Nice réception. Well decorated, with a touch of art here and there.

Entrance and leaving hours (17:30, 10:00, respectively) are too restrictive. Considering the location and the place surroundings, we found it expensive.

Great B&B and host.

A lovely B&B with a great breakfast. Once the garden has been completed this will be a beautiful place to stay and somewhere I would gladly return to. Definitely somewhere I would recommend.

Two night in Carcassone

Location to reach by foot Carcassone

Breakfast, it was nice to sit with other guests and talk, but food quality wasnt good. The second morning we went to a near patissserie

Would definitely recommend - lovely host, lots of nice details and good value

Review for Art home We enjoyed our stay at Art Home. It’s a place with lots of character, showcasing the work of local artists. The room we had overlooked a quiet street and was clean and spacious with a large ensuite. We were able to come and go as we pleased and the hotel is very central to the main town in Carcassonne so easy to walk everywhere. Emmanuel was a very pleasant host, was very responsive to messages, took the time to give us tips about the town (eg where to eat) and also made us a delicious homemade breakfast on the terrace. Would definitely recommend to others

Very little not to like but worth being aware the en-suite bathroom in our room didn’t have a door so if you’re staying with someone and prefer privacy it might be worth asking if there are en-suites with doors in other rooms

the window in my room didn’t close fully and I’m an exceptionally light sleeper so the noise from the road was the only thing.

was great. comfortable and quiet. loved the live music at the Carcassonne festival

very friendly owner. easy walking distance to the medieval city and also the city centre. clean and comfortable

a lot of work going on in the garden so all looking a bit messy. I’m sure it will be put right after the holiday season

Interesting place, great breakfast in the terrace

Quiet location about 5 minutes from the town centre. Great host, full of useful information. Lovely continental breakfast, full of home-made goodies. Excellent Wi-Fi and as we stayed in July/August, fantastic to have air conditioning. It's an interesting place, art work and bold colours everywhere, you can see a lot of thought has gone into the design of the b&b. Having a garden is a real bonus.
