Front seat for Windsor Castle

Brilliant location with fantastic view of the castle and a quaint cobbled street full of cafes and little shops. Plenty of room in the house for nine of us, and enough space in the main room to welcome wider family. Generous amounts of crockery and cutlery. Prompt replies from the host. Good Wi-fi. Lovely bay window overlooking the street below. Intriguing Harry Potter drawings on the wall. Effective lounge door so that children rising early could watch television first thing in the morning without disturbing others. Easy walk to the castle, the Great Park, the main shops and Q-Parking Windsor Yards.

Really great stay in spacious quality accommodation directly adjacent to Windsor Castle

Fantastic location with spacious good quality accommodation.

Parking is main issue, long walk to expensive parking with no accommodation discount system in place. People staying in local budget hotels get 50% discount

Windsor retreat

Brilliant apartment bang opposite the castle entrance where we were attending an investiture. There were 9 of us and the apartment worked really well - plenty of space, comfortable beds and well equipped. Great communications from the owners. Would definitely stay again, thank you!

Nice location, and all the stores nearby, and all the attractions as well. Overall, good trip

We liked the location and other facilities, ice-cream parlours, and stores that were on walking distance

They asked me about the bank details for the deposit for any damages, and the caretaker took the refundable deposit from my account. It was embarrassing for me because I had paid to Booking.com, and they should explained me about the deposit and other restrictions, I was busy with my guests, and the caretaker was trying to contact me regarding the deposit and saying you can't check in until you paid the deposit. One more thing I didn't like was that my guest's flight was delayed, and we requested a couple of hours more for checking out he charged £170. (Not good that too much) but we paid. Regarding the property, the floors were very noisy, crackling all floors. Stairs end was dis balanced, not good for kids, Too many rats and 🐁 were found near out side the entrance.

Lovely house in a superb position and would definitely book again if we were to come to Windsor

Fantastic location on a quaint cobbled street with views of the castles main gate. Lots of shops and restaurants just around the corner and just a 5 minute walk to the station and car park. Short drive to LEGOLAND.

More comfortable seating area needed. One two seater sofa is not enough for 4 adults. Not relaxing having to sit at the dining table to watch tv but we managed. Wouldn’t put us off staying again.

Heart of Windsor!

In the heart of Windsor. Helpful staff messaging very quickly. Spacious. Great for larger groups of upto 9. Lovely, fresh bed linen and towels. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. M&S supermarket about 200m.

Single room is a camp bed so not suitable for an adult. The property needs a deeper clean - carpets, walls all scuffed from a lot of guests, fridge was not clean on arrival. If a large group of 8 people 2 toilets is not enough in the morning! Small second shower is looking a little old and dirty. Unfortunately going up the first stairs you see the neighbour has thrown onto the roof an old mattress and rubbish and scaffolding - this does not have anything to do with the property but is unsightly. Parking is not possible but this is the centre of Windsor. Trouble with pre-check in and downloading contract to sign and deposit to pay. Tim very helpful.

We had a brilliant 3 nights stay in Sovereign Town House.

The house was in an excellent location being near the castle and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. It was very well equipped and very comfortable for six people. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

A great location and perfect space for a team get together.

Location was absolutely fantastic. Such an amazing view of the castle and proximity to car park, shops and station. Absolutely spot on.

The 5th bedroom wasn't very comfortable and was very cold and the top floor bathroom was very small. No-where to put a soap bag/ bottles etc.

the location is amazing. on top of a pub and could watch the changing of the guard at Windsor Castle without leaving the apartment!

Fantastic location and lovely house.

Fantastic location in the centre of Windsor. We could see into the main castle gates from the front window and upstairs bedroom. Best view of changing the guards in Windsor! Great to walk to the castle, down the Long Walk, the town centre and a few minutes away from Legoland in the car. Quirky property and although very old had been renovated to a high standard whilst retaining the character of the place. Property was clean, pleasantly decorated, well equipped in the modern kitchen and warm for a winter break. Comfy beds and sofa. Showers were powerful and plenty of hot water all the time. There were 7 of us so lots of showers needed. Host was really helpful with excellent communication throughout.

For our family who are all very active , it was great but there are a lot of stairs.

Fabulous place to stay and will definitely be back.

The location could not have been better, right in the heart of Windsor. Property was clean and comfortable. Host was helpful and great to deal with. Short walk to the station to travel in to London.

Reluctant to put anything but I would imagine if you had mobility issues this property would not be ideal.

We loved it. Enjoyed the property and the company were great to deal with!

The location was superb! So close to the castle. The beds were very comfortable and the linen was lovely. The property felt very safe and it was quiet at night.

It's not ideal for someone who is not used to stairs and having to park the car in a nearby car park added quite a bit of money to the overall budget.

Simply delightful!

The location of The Sovereign Town House couldn’t be better! Absolutely wonderful to be right next to Windsor Castle, and to be able to just walk down and enjoy the charming atmosphere and restaurants. The comfortable and tasteful living room & kitchen area, and the 5 cosy bedrooms made it very comfortable to stay with a family. We were 4 adults and 3 children and had a really enjoyable and memorable stay in this delightful property.

Excellent location and tody property

The location was fantastic. The rooms were comfortable and plenty of space for a family get together.

Parking is expensive but the hosts were very transparent about it and some of our party took the train instead of driving which worked well as the station is closer to the property than the car park
