Nice but all the rooms don't have THE view

Perfectly located with the beach almost out the entrance door, several restaurants and bakeries, a supermarket and a bus stop all within a 5 min walk. Convenient well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, perfectly clean, they had even sprayed a pleasant perfume in the room.

I didn't get the beach view of the picture. In fact my only view was onto a symmetrical flat across a narrow light well (and I had to close the curtains to keep my privacy). I lost quite some time on arrival (13:45) because there was nobody at reception despite having warned about my arrival time (there was no point calling because the phone was inside reception and my texts remained unanswered). The key was on the door but I wasn't sure it was for me. It took me quite some time to locate the people in charge who were resting on a higher floor.

No view, no balcony, smell of old smoke, feeling scammed

The location was very central.

I felt scammed. The pictures shown have nothing to do with the room we were allocated. The room had no balcony and no sea view, no view at all, just a window to a back part of the building. And the room smelled of old smoke. It was barely possible to sleep there due to the smell. I was offered a refund upon arrival but at that point there were no other rooms available in Valle Gran Rey so I had no choice but to stay in that smelly room with no view.

Comfortable stay but a pity about the noise from the restaurant.

This apartment was in a prime location where we could sit on the balcony comfortably day and night if we chose to. The kitchen was well equipped. We even had a full-size fridge freezer and microwave. We were provided with plenty of towels. We had a small bath with a shower and a separate bedroom with a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and bedside cabinets.

We didn't have any soap for the bathroom. Luckily we brought our own. And only 2 toilet rolls were provided for the whole stay of 10 nights. Also, no change of sheets was provided. There was a lot of noise from the restaurant next door late at night.

Basic apartment but excellent views

The location is biggest benefit of this apartment. We almost spend all time on the balcony watching the waves and the people. Kitchen is well equipped if you like to cook as we did.

No soap in the bathroom and the furniture etc. is rather old but in good condition. Check-In was confusing. We waited in the first floor until somebody came but that there was no check-in information prior to the arrival - could definitely be improved but it’s no reason for not booking the apartment.

Bed was comfy and good location.

Shower has a very low pressure and the water was not hot. The room was not very clean and has some furniture that need to be changed (bed side table was broken and unstable, a hole in the bathroom where a cockroach came out)

Nice stay but room for improvement

The owner was friendly and helpful. It was easy to check in. She was waiting for us at the time we said we hoped to arrive.

Towels only changed once in 10 days. The sheets not at all. There was a dust pan in the apartment but no mop.

Great location, worth the price

The location was amazing, right on the beach. Bakery, zumeria, restaurants and a supermarket just next door. The bus stops 30m from the door-very easy to get uphill for trekking (bus departs at 8am) or to get to San Sebastian (the bus goes right to the harbor) or to Vallehermoso. The bed was comfortable, the studio decently clean. The furniture and the bathroom was a bit old, but everything worked perfectly fine. There is a fridge, toaster, water boiler and a hot plate for cooking, cutlery for 2 persons, and even a bottle opener. Very convenient. The owners are very friendly and helpful, responding very fast, during the night I had some issues with hot water, I sent a message, and in the morning a plumber was asked to solve the problem! There is a washing machine in the studio, which I would never expect to need it, but after hiking, it was very useful.
