Beautiful accommodation, shady booking staff

The large, airy room, open kitchen, and bedroom. The apartment is well-planned and quite roomy. There is a mini supermarket just outside by the roadside (not part of the accommodation). It's easy to hop onto boda-boda to get to nearby suburbs such as Muyenga and Kabalagala.

The reception staff requiring me to pay a 3% surcharge on my card in addition to the total required to be paid by booking.com. When i refused i was asked to cancel the booking and pay by cash but at an inflated exchange rate of 4000 ugx to the $, if i wanted to pay in local currency. The whole check-in experience was stressful and made me think negatively of the reception staff/ manager as they kept pestering me about it during my stay. Also, the apartment lacked a fan to keep the room cool at night while asleep. However the cleaning staff and askaris were great and i didnt have any problems w them.

The location was great. There was a large amount of space for our family of five.

There were mosquitos everywhere and the mosquito nets were full of holes and did not close completely. Our family of 5 had to spray ourselves down with bug spray every night before bed. Additionally, despite being a gated property with a guard, our vehicle was opened and the glove box gone through. There was also only 1 roll of toilet paper made available in an apartment with 2 bathrooms.

Definitely recommend! Comfortable, kind staff, good layout.

The location was a little bit tricky, but once there I felt safe and comfortable. The staff were very kind and helpful with absolutely anything that we needed. Everything was very comfortable and classy.

There was a small discrepancy in the amount due, but they handled it really well and honored the price that I had been quoted, even after showing me proof of their difference.

There was a power cut which happens a lot in kampala. They delayed turning on the generator till about 8pm. overall it’s a nice place.

Loved our stay at Bon Bini

We absolutely loved our stay at Bon Bini. Residence in a quiet neighborhood near the city center. Wifi worked perfectly. The rooms and the swimmingpool are clean. The staff are very friendly and went up and above to make us feel comfortable and at home. Good security. This will be our home every time we visit Kampala.

The location was good. Staff willing to help.

Wifi was pretty much redundant. So many basic things missing that we had to keep asking housekeeping for, e.g. a bin, microwave, iron etc. The eskari was not serious.

the property is very beautiful and the rooms are very nicely decorated! I was very comfortable for the 4 nights that I stayed here ! also the view of lake Victoria was gorgeous. especially for sunrise ! also want to note that the staff is lovely accommodating and very friendly!

The location is gorgeous on lake victoria, however the location is far from the city center of Kampala and will take around 10k for boda transport. it’s about 20 minutes.

Very good

We had 12 great days in an apartment for two people on the top floor overlooking Lake Victoria. Here we could enjoy the sunrise or sit in the shade on the balcony in the afternoon. The apartment was large and spacious, and African murals and handicrafts characterized the living room. Good sofa and bed! We enjoyed ourselves in the clean, 12.5m long pool. The garden was well maintained with beautiful flowers, bushes and palm trees. Here we could relax in peace and quiet after busy trips in the city. The staff were very nice and helpful. Right next to it was a small supermarket.

Great location and very spacious apartment

Very spacious and clean apartment, with fully equipped kitchen and a modern flat screen TV. The wifi was fast and I never had any problem. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially James.
