Take in the feel of Lake Tekapo from this modern home meeting all our needs.

location, views, loungy deck to hang out on, table tennis set-up, multiple bathrooms, lovely furniture pieces and art

dusty gravel entry to house, storage of rubbish right by the entrance, the entrance door and garage laundry door cross over which we were worried would result in damage with two families staying quite busy

Magical Stay at Bivouac

The house was modern and absolutely lovely. The garage has a ping pong table in it, and that gave everyone hours of family fun!!

Honestly, we didn't like that we had to leave.

Simply awesome, highly recommended for large groups!

Everything! The house was pretty large for our group of 5, well stocked with all that we needed and well heated on cold nights. The 3 bathrooms and many bedrooms were convenient and the table tennis table in the garage is a nice touch. On nights with clear skies, we could stargaze from the house!

Amazing big house would comfortably suit 2families or like us have room to spread out. Clean and warm, easy walking distance to shops and park/lakefront. Plenty of off road car parking. Will stay again

It was a great property with alot to love..location, warmth, views amazing , comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms, great stay with teenaged kids. room for everyone and table tennis also was fun.

Incredible place to stay in. Just take note of the heating arrangements during the cold season.

The location and view of the place is incredible. Having a table tennis table at the garage was also fantastic. The apartment is extremely well furnished, especially the kitchen. Making meals was a breeze.

The only minor issue we had of the apartment was the lack of heating facilities. Only the common areas (living hall and walking corridor) had heating. The rooms and garage didn't come with any heating so during the cold seasons, hanging out in the rooms was a bit difficult unless you're lying in your bed as the beds come with heaters.

The house and contents was lovely, the table tennis was a big hit!

The sheets on the beds downstairs were hard and uncomfortable - possibly brand new?

Location was good

When you pay so much why are you expected to lux and clean up. We did leave it tidy and removed all and towels and sheets and put them downstairs and rubbish in otto bins ,shouldn't have to do that as your not expected to do it in a hotel took the gloss of staying there. You could tell it was getting a bit tired inside stains on carpets ,fry pan still had old food baked on it and bbq hadn't been cleaned for us.

nice house, good quiet location. good facilities for cooking and clean bathrooms. took feedback response well - they will lay traps to clear out the mouse.

my friend says the builders could have installed the bathrooms better. In about 5 years, there may be trouble with water leaking behind the walls. there was a mouse. it is the countryside, so it's not unexpected. they are aware that it is a perennial problem.
