Great view, not much else

Unbeatable view of the Temple of Garni from the room as well as during breakfast. Staff was friendly.

Breakfast was really basic and only served at 10:00. This is not a joke: they will inform you at check-in. Simply forget about an early start. It's not possible to get the room completely dark.

A great experience.

This is a fabulously located hotel with the view over the temples and spectacular panorama. There are 2 terraces from which you can see the view and where you can have breakfast.

Very good

Great location, easy walk to the temple. There is easy and free parking right in front of the house. The breakfast is served in a restaurant with a wonderful view to the hills and the temple.

You can hear everything from other rooms. There was only one other room occupied, but someone was caughing whole night and it was impossible to get a good sleep.

Overall great place to stay.

Great location, markets and attractions nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful restaurant spot within the complex with an amazing view over the mountains. Food was amazing.

The room lacked any storage to put on or hang clothing. Weird smell coming from the bathroom. The bed was uncomfortable and hard to sleep on, but not the worst.

fantastic all the way around!

we liked everything about our stay here! from the views, to the staff, to the food and the quality service!

we visited during the colder months. sadly, the heat at the dining facility in the property wasn’t working. but the staff was very accommodating in offing us blankets to snuggle under as we ate our dinner

Breakfast was good but they did not know what is meant by an English breakfast - as advertised!! Also, there was no minibar in the room - again, as advertised. Finally , I saw no facilities for the disabled : again as advertised.

Stellar views of the valley and Garni Temple, restaurant onsite...the bbq trout, dolma, and home vintage family wine were great. Ask for the room with the temple view. Lovely, lush, outdoor grounds. Basic, but clean and cozy room.

Breakfast is only served at 10:00 every day, and hostess was not flexible in offering at an earlier hour. We had to leave prior to 10, so were unable to eat their breakfast.

Exceptional

The rooms and bathroom were clean and well maintained. The views from the rooms were spectacular, particularly from the suite room. The breakfast was excellent with a selection of cheeses, lavash and fruit from the property. The location was perfect just a five minute walk to Garni Temple and thirty minutes to Garni Gorge. The best part about the stay was the staff who were incredibly kind and hospitable. They were wonderful from the start, and made every effort to make the stay special.

Very lovely stay at Garni Bread House! It is walking city from the Garni Temple! There is a restaurant on site. The view from the restaurant are amazing. The view from my room overlooking the valley was spectacular. Great value!

Home away from home

Firstly, the location is perfect. It has a cosy restaurant inside with the Temple of Garni view. Tourist spots are nearby, markets, atm machines are accessible by foot. Taxis can be easily seen as well. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Armen was the best host and I’m grateful. As a solo traveler, I felt safe the entire time.

Located a stones throw from the Temple. Exceptional view of the temple and surrounding countryside from the rooms and hotel restaurant. This has to be my most enjoyable stay in Armenia. The staff are very kind and helpful.

Close to the temple

The location of the accommodation is good. Short walking distance to the temple. We really loved the view from our room and especially the restaurant. You can see the temple in an amazing landscape! Food was good. Rooms are very basic, but you have everthing you need.

I am not sure what happened as the other evaluations talk about the hospitality of the family etc. We had the feeling that we and also the other two guests were only partially welcome and especially when ordering food we had the feeling that it was seen as a burden (for example the others asked for two more beer and the answer was, that she had already closed the bill... it was 7 or 8pm; when we asked for vegetarian food for myself the answer was "chicken" and when we said that chicken was not vegetarian the answer was "it is only a small chicken" - somehow you feel not taken seriously as a guest). As my partner speaks Russion it cannot have been due to language issues that others have mentioned before. It also was end of Ocotber and pretty cold in the room and the restaurant and it seems that also the lady did not want to stay there. But then there would be two options: close the restaurant or heat it. We mentioned the room temperature on the second day and we were told that we could get more blankets. But there was a radiator in the room, so we would have expected them to get the heating started... So please improve how you deal with guests and your location will be a great place to stay at!
