The staff is very kind and friendly. The place is sooo close to the train station it is definitely a place you can sleep in as you wait to board your train or go into mombasa town the following morning.
The sheets they had smelt some type of way. The towels and sheets we clean but looked brown. There was hair in the towel hanging area so cringe.

Rooms service was satisfactory

rooms are cool and clean with very little disturbance from road noise.
please try and prepare food i.e lunch and supper. you can always leave a note for visitors to request food. yes, one can request food but let them know in advance. visitors want sweet Swahili foods and even snacks, juices i.e embe dodo, melon with ice cubes, etc . you can split this according to the time of the day at 10.00 am and 3.00 pm snacks are ready could non-perishable cassava crisps, mabuyu, korosho to cookies.
spoil your visitors fully with coastal foods and you will earn more!

The lady at the front desk was very polite, respectful and understanding....we changed our rooms like 3times looking for a better room.
Location, the road is very bad leading to the guest house. Hoping they make it soon enough.

I did not get to the hotel
The location was very frightening and not on Google maps. The taxi driver stopped to ask a local but he too was very concerned. There were many men just hanging out and all the shops had wire meshes to poke goods out and money in. The taxi said it was not safe for foreigners

The staff was very nice and helpful, the whole stay had the ambiance of a family visit of sorts. The room was tiny, perfect for one night stay. Water was warm and breakfast took place outside. For this price, it was OK.
The sheets were not exactly clean, but a bit worn with old age maybe? The place can be also quite loud, if that's something that bothers you. And the toilet was so close to the shower that it made moving around the bathroom really weird. Also prepare for a weird ride in the cab, the place is not easy to find.
