Coconut Cafe was amazing restaurant nearby
The shuttle to get to the main town was not as advertised. There are less shuttles running now (but you can pay $10 for private shuttles) but found it a hassle to deal with.

I love Daryl's willingness to help and his dedication to ensure all my needs were taken care off.
He was amazing and the hotel is extremely lucky to have him. He arrange massages, golf carts, pick uo from airport, restaurants reservations, etc.
One thing thw water smells funny.
The water in the shower smells funny...leaving you a dirty sensation

This private jewel of an island was perfection. I had the opportunity to relax with family and just enjoy the beauty of nature. The six minute ride from San Pedro's dock to the Blue was breathtaking. As a person with disability,I was appreciative of the special assistance and care given to me to ensure that my. stay was memorable. Let's talk about the food (Chef Felix kudos all around) taste, presentation fantastic, especially since you made our traditional fry jack aka Belizean pancake to perfection. My finicky 3 year old grand nephew ate every last morsel of his food from his plate. You got his vote.
❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 the Blue, See you soon.

Pool was nice.
There were no black-out shades so outside night lighting on the ground floor disturbed our sleep, requiring us to stealthily throw a towel over it on our way up to our unit. Also, bedding was must

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

This resort is absolute paradise! It is on its own little island within an island, and it is just so tranquil and beautiful. I don’t even know where to start. The staff were incredible, probably the best customer service I have ever had at a resort or hotel. We stayed in the 2-bedroom garden view suite, and it was HUGE!!! The beds were on the firmer side, but I prefer that, so I didn’t mind. The layout gave everyone plenty of space and privacy, and it was really nice to have our own rooms. We booked several of the salon services - massage, ear candling, and pedicures - and they were all fantastic! As far as getting to San Pedro, there is a water taxi that goes between Brahma Blue and the main island every 2 hours, and rides are complimentary for all guests. You can also book a ride outside the regularly scheduled times for $10 USD. The boat ride to the main island takes about 5 minutes, super quick and convenient. We went back and forth multiple times a day, and it was not a hassle at all.
One thing to keep in mind: I booked this trip with the intention of relaxing and decompressing for a few days, and Brahma Blue was perfect for that. If you’re looking to do the excursions, those are all on the mainland, and it will take you several hours to get to any of them from the island, so I would not recommend staying on ambergris caye in that case. We never went to the mainland during our stay, and there was plenty to do on the island for a week, so we didn’t feel like we missed out at all. Next time, I think we will probably book a couple nights somewhere on the mainland and do all the adventure stuff, and then come to Brahma Blue for a few nights of R&R. Either way, Brahma Blue will be a must for all future trips to Belize!
Honestly, nothing that I can think of. It would have been nice to maybe have a shop on the resort side of the lagoon, but we just planned ahead and picked up stuff we needed from the main island before heading back for the night. No biggie!

The property is beautiful, clean and serene. The staff at the Brahma Blue and the coconut cafe went out of their way to ensure I remained in vacation mode.

The rooms! They are apartments sized, perfect for extended stays or remote WFH plans. The staff were very helpful. Dino the boat captain was very helpful. As was the hotel owner who happily chatted with us and told us about how he purchased the property. The staff and the owner even helped us with our bags as we left the property.
The lizards and the bugs repeatedly coming into the room. But that can be avoided if you stay on the 2nd FL or higher

Our balcony view was beautiful and they have a excellent pool
The only downside about Brahma is that there’s no beach to swim so you’d have to go to town :(

I’m glad that I decided to choose Brahma Blue for my birthday stay. The rooms were beautiful and spacious and the staff was amazing from start to finish. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip. I’d definitely choose to stay at Brahma Blue on my next trip to San Pedro.

The property is very clean and quiet. We had a large 2-bedroom apartment. There is a nice over-water restaurant and a swimming pool.
Unfortunately, the ad on booking.com doesn’t mention that you can ONLY access the resort by boat. There is a free boat shuttle, but it does make planning your day more complicated.
