Very easy & relaxed check-in after a long drive.
The room was fresh, clean, tidy & with plenty of room for the family & baggage.
There happened to be a good quiz on in the bar, so straight after check-in we went to the pub had some nice bar snaks and couple of drinks. Perfect.
When off to bed, noticed the sink was blocked. Told the staff in the morning and it was fixed on our return & the bathroom had been cleaned. Perfect.
We were left more tea, coffee, milk sachets & biscuits on the second day and a couple of fresh towels without asking.

The bed was comfy and the coffee selection in the room was good
The aircon just did not work and the tv speakers were faulty. The food in the resteraunt literally made me vomit from 8:30pm until 3:00am ruining my night and following day.
4.3
Spacious room, generous with tea/coffee facilities and towels.
TV kept freezing, couldn’t watch anything and we had to switch off completely
4.3
Rooms were clean and tidy and smelt fresh

Location was on the edge of Nottingham, but excellent bus journeys to and from the city centre from near the front door. Ticket prices currently capped at £2 per journey.
Hot chocolate drinks in the room

Staff were friendly & cheerful, with nothing too much trouble . Room just right & would have no hesitation in staying again.
Card key system upgrade impacted access but staff all helpful in putting in a work around

The bed was really comfortable. Hotel was suitable to walk to Trent Bridge.
Nothing.
4.3
Very comfortable beds, room clean and tidy. Great breakfast with possibly the best omelette I’ve ever had in any hotel.
Very limited gluten free options in the restaurant.
The TV did not work properly- it provided the normal Freeview channels but many, including ALL BBC channels, displayed “No Signal”. I suspect this is because the TV has not been
retuned when channels are updated - probably never done since the tv was first installed. The tv was fixed to the wall which made HDMI ports hard to reach but as they were disabled,
that was irrelevant. This was important because I wanted to watch a film downloaded to my iPad and needed to connect via the HDMI port.
There was nowhere to dry towels after the two occupants had a bath and shower. Also, why can’t major hotel chains install bathrooms where the overhead shower doesn’t leak
onto the floor?

On site restaurant. Local to where I needed to be.
The Karaoke in the restaurant was just a little bit to loud whilst eating.
4.3
Staff were very obliging, should out to Andrew the deputy Manager who was exceptional.
There was a problem with the key cards so staff had to take you in and out of the rooms. Kudos to the staff again for doing this extra job but it was inconvenient.
4.3
Nice pub, good beer and food, staff helpful and friendly
Your key card system had broken down when we arrived and could not be fixed until Monday! It meant that a member of staff had to let us into our rooms. A bit inconvenient for us and them.
These things happen, and the staff dealt with it well.
4.3
parking free and lots of space so don’t need to book
bar and restaurant just next door

This was a very nice stay. The room was comfortable and the pub offered good food and drinks. Located close to the motorway to continue on our way north.
Food service was slow, but it seems there's a staff shortage. Everyone was extremely nice.
