location is ok
I very rarely write reviews, in fact this is my first for hotel review; however, this hostel was the worst experience:
1. They don't have hot water and when I asked them they replied just let it run and will come
2. The walls and ceilings were covered in black mould
3. The bed was dirty, and there was hair when I checked in
4. they offer breakfast and it is 2 fired eggs and one bread every morning
5. Me and my friend checked out after a little while because it really felt like we were in prison
And of course, Of course!!! they did not refund me, booking com website tried to solve it after I came back home and it was too late by the time someone actually contacted me
Seriously it is better to pay a little more and have a good experience it is truly not worth it

The locations is quite convenient to travel anywhere in Kathmandu, as it is located in Thamel itself, beside LoD.
Also, the cleaning staffs were regularly cleaning the rooms and made bed too :)
The reception staff was quite helpful in getting my money exchanged from INR to NPR.
The room was on top floor on terrace and washroom was outside, which made it difficult to go out of room at night in this cold and access it. Also, in this chilling cold, didn't get proper access to hot water at night 🙈 which made it extremely difficult to get freshen up at night after roaming the entire day!

It was in the center and good price.
I booked a dormitory of 4 and luckily I was alone
Next to a party club. Very noisy at night. And the toilets were not clean.

Friendly staff and comfortable room. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby and not far from Durbar Square.
Dogs barking during the night (but this is Nepal). Loud music till late at night from nearby nightclub. Treckers assembling in the early morning making lots of noise.

Such a waste of money totally dominating environment between Nepalese and tourist.. receptionist was very rude he treated us as like we stay over there in free of cost even he charges more amount than the actual price...i genuinely asked that person at what time can we come after roaming will there be a guard to open the door he replied no 16 17 police will come from some place just to open it for u guys like seriously is that a tone to talk with a costumers... He haven't said time of breakfast and when we called for it he was behaving so rude there is no breakfast for u guys arey we had paid for it too.... He was repeatedly saying don't disturb to guests?? Weren't we guest for them too? I do not recommend this place literally for no one.. such a bad experience and place too..

I liked staying in this hostel, the owner is so nice and gentle, the breakfast was good and tasty, and the room was clean and with the hot water)
Unfortunately I didn't expected that the hostel are placed near the night club so I slept really bad that days
