Lovely accommodation in beautiful, peaceful spot.

Beautiful location. Perfectly appointed Shepherd's hut with separate shower/toilet. Nice garden area with barbeque and canopy area for shade. Also a hammock for extra relaxation.

Remote and quiet place with all the amenities you need for a getaway. We could even use the bicycles for a ride around the area.

fantastic get away

fantastic place to stay ! beautiful hut in a beautiful place. very cosy, comes with most bits you will need for tea and food making. very clean. the wood burner works wonders. bathroom / toilet was clean and very nice. Will definitely be staying again

It was so memorable. I wanted a quiet place to get away from it all in lovely scenery, perfect.

There is nothing I can think of that would have made it better, it was perfect.

A mini break for Abergavenny Food Festival

A different kind of place to stay - when you don't want a regular hotel! Quiet, cosy and comfortable. Fab location. WiFi facility!

Nothing really - it would have been helpful to know the cooking facilities beforehand but happy with hob and mini grill. (Little microwave would have been great, but certainly not a deal breaker!)

Very tranquil location in beautiful surroundings.

Very serene and tranquil location. Everything essential was provided by the hosts including milk, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits. The facilities were very good and included a super comfortable bed.

Best few days away in the most amazing place.

It was amazing! the shepherds hut was very comfortable and had everything you needed for a couple of days away from busy life.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Relaxing break so near to Sugar Loaf. Lovely owners. Everything seemed to have been thought of. Wood for an outdoor firepit and a log burner inside if needed. Small twin gas ring and grill for cooking and a small fridge. Excellent hot shower and some eco cleaning products provided. All good quality bedding, mattress and towels .

It was an absolutely beautiful, gorgeous, cute little sheppards hut!!!☺☺ Comes with a little cooker, frying pan, sauspan, wisteling kettle, cutlery ect... absolutely stunning views and lots of walks right on the door step of where we stayed. A beautiful country pub just a couple miles down the road. And a small town called Abergavenny. We manged to walk up the sugar loaf mountain with in a couple of hours, including to going to the brecon beacons seeing 4 stunning waterfalls all in one day!!! It was worth absolutely every second, just everything was stunning&beautiful country side wales!!! Very breathtaking views!!! Would definitely come back again to explore more!!!☺☺🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

We celebrated our anniversary there - it was perfect.

It was clean, very well equipped and very cosy. There was a fire pit outside to sit by and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening, a hammock to read in, and the shower was fantastic. Also it was only a 5 minute walk to the base of the Sugar Loaf Mountain.

Relaxing, quiet and romantic hide away.

The owners are very friendly, they suggested a few activities (watching stars was wonderful!). Caban is clean and comfortable. Based in the middle of nowhere which is extremely relaxing. Hikes around Black Mountains are stunning. Not many tourist which was perfect :) calming sounds of nature, far away from the main road :)

Advert says there's wifi on the site but it's not true which was rather dissapointing. No internet, no phone signal either. Water was warm but not hot so showers had to be really quick 😂

Relaxing stay

Fab stay, no phone signal was brilliant and added to the peace and quiet! It was a little wetter then anticipated so we were unable to get out walking as much as we had planned but the board games collection kept us occupied.

unique and authentic hideaway

it is very cute and there lots of little details that the hosts thought of that make this stay extra special. you are close to the trials so this location is great for relaxing or hiking

Superb

Fantastic beautiful and peaceful location. Perfect base to do some walking. Loved having the fire pit which made it possible to enjoy evenings outside even at the end of September.

Amazing stay would recommend to anyone looking to get away to somewhere different

I cant fault anything about this place. The beautiful surroundings and exceptional facilities at the property were amazing. The Sheppard's hut was beautiful. The hosts were very friendly and we enjoyed an amazing relaxing weekend.
