Super Unterkunft für ein paar Tage in Chiang Mai

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral- innerhalb der Innenstadt kommt man überall zu Fuß hin. Wir hatten ein Zimmer Richtung Pool und waren vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis begeistert. Das Lamphu House erinnert uns an ein Bed and Breakfast - ist aber durch den Pool noch eine Spur komfortabler. Der Pool ist etwas klein wenn das Hotel ausgebucht ist, aber eine willkommene Abkühlung! Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und sauber. Die Klimaanlage hat sehr gut funktioniert- was bei 38-40 Grad Außentemperatur nicht selbstverständlich ist. Alle waren immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden hier wieder übernachten.

Das Frühstück fanden wir relativ teuer und nicht besonders gut. Uns hat aber auch ein Espresso mit Fruchtplatte gereicht und das war dann in Ordnung :) Man sollte nicht zu viele Liegen am Pool erwarten - sind nur 6-8

Excelente custo-benefício e ótima localização! Fica em uma região central muito próximo de alguns templos, diversas lojas e bares/restaurantes, equipe muito atenciosa, café da manhã com opções e bem servido, piscina e lounge coletivo são muito agradáveis e o quarto é limpo e espaçoso.

Ottimo hotel in centro

Un'otima soluzione nel cuore di Chang Mai, comodo per visitare a piedi la città. Sulla stessa stradina c'è anche una cooda lavanderia. Molto bella la piscina, molto usata al termine delle escursioni della giornata. Staff gentile e disponibile, camera con terrazza vista piscina confortevole e pulita. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo

De locatie, de sfeer, het personeel en prijs/kwaliteit verhouding echt perfect.

Je kunt er s ochtend ontbijten en s middags tot 17.00 uur lunchen. Jammer dat dit niet s avonds kan.

Great stay. Nice atmosphere. Would stay here again.

The property was so clean and quiet away from other hotels. It had a nice, relaxing vibe to it that I really loved. I didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. Staff was helpful and friendly, the room was clean and a great size, I got two beds even though I was one person, and it was a great stay! I’d absolutely stay here again.

I wish the water they placed in rooms were cold, and not room temperature. Chiang Mai was very hot when I visited in July.

It was nice but I will not return. I prefer Lamphu house in Bangkok. I often stay there.

It was clean and good value.

Noisy Chinese people and no flexibility for breakfast menu. Why do I have to eat Western breakfast when I’m in Thailand?

Comfortable stay with a great location and pool!

Guest facilities were all lovely! Pool was lovely and deck chairs very comfy. Reception and dining area were nice. Room was clean and fit our needs.

We selected a corner room (for a cheaper rate) with pool view. We didn’t realise how dark the room would be as there was very little natural light, and a very very small balcony! However we were able to see the other rooms and they looked very nice. Would highly recommend paying more for one of these rooms, especially ground floor poolside rooms.

Go for it!

Lamphu House is an excellent value for money option. It is located at the heart of the historical center at a quiet side street. The swimming pool is amazing and the breakfast options are pretty good. Seven eleven and laundry service are just a few blocks away.

The credit card markup of 3% is not very customer friendly, but very common in Thailand. The curtain does not darken and it is very bright in the room after sunrise.

Nice and calm hotel with swimming pool

very good location, having a swimming pool is a plus with this weather. The staff was very helpful. The room was clean and big enough for 2, with a nice balcony.

Comfortable, well-located with nice pool. Poor service.

Very comfortable bed. Hot, powerful shower, and cool bathroom that feels outdoors, with lots of plants around the glass. Nice pool area. Board games in the communal area and good fruit shakes included with breakfast. Quite quiet at night, even over NYE, which was great. We had a comfortable stay. Nice little porch area out the front of the room, and you can drink your own alcohol there which is great. They don't sell alcohol themselves, but there is a 7-11 nearby.

At the price point / standard of hotel, not having a kettle or fridge in the room is a bit unusual. It is a very bare room - nowhere to store clothes etc. Pool access rooms are not very private - have to have the dark curtain shut or people can see right in. When we arrived at noon they told us to come back at 2pm (advertised check in time). We came back at 2, and the room (in fact all the rooms) were not ready for another hour. All guests were sitting in the lobby waiting to check in. They also half closed the hotel for a party for the owner (we were mid board game and they asked us to leave the communal seating area where the game was all set up). Both of these things are understandable, but it was frustrating that they expected us to be so accommodating of them, but they were not at all accommodating of us. For example we asked to slightly change the breakfast to replace a sandwich with an egg, and they charged us 10 baht. We asked to leave a small backpack for 48 hours while we rode the scooter to Chiang dao. They wanted to charge us for this. It all just felt a bit unnecessary given the hotel is fairly expensive for the area, and given we were so flexible with the changes they required of us as customers. The reception staff in general were quite cold and unhelpful. Maybe some things to think about as a hospitality business.

beautiful, luxury, private :)

super nice and clean rooms with lots of space and lovely balconies. pool is so clean and really lovely and spacious! staff were also great and very helpful, they printed out our visas for us and helped us to repair our New Years lantern. thank you for such a nice, peaceful stay!!
