Very disappointed- avoid Room 11

The room (No.11) was a good size. The shower room was clean. The breakfast was tasty...good coffee and the baguettes & pastries were very fresh.

We didn't get the "warm" welcome other guests had. At first we were told they didn't have the reservation.. we had only booked it a couple of hours before arriving so obviously no one had checked. A welcome smile and then checking their reservations to find ours would have been much "warmer" welcome. We were given a key and told how to get to the room instead of being shown where it was. As a result we initially went in the wrong door. The bedroom didn't smell great i.e. stale/musty(moisi) The furniture was cheap and very uninviting. There wasn't even a chair in the room. The pillows were lumpy and very uncomfortable. The shower room was tiny, the toiletries consisted of 1 tiny bar of soap and 2 tiny bottles of shower gel. The towels definitely couldn't be described as " soft and fluffy" and had seen better days . The shower room had no ventilation or a fan and the WC was a Macerator/sanibruyeur which was very very noisy..so we didn't flush it during the night. Based on other reviews.. perhaps the other bedrooms are better. 🤷‍♀️ Sadly , not a pleasant experience for us.

A fabulous place to stay

The loveliest of owners at the hotel; so welcoming and friendly. Spotlessly clean, comfortable room in a quiet location and just 10 mins walk to restaurants etc. Glad I picked here compared to other places nearby! Highly recommend. Had a terrific stay.

Mattress had a non breathing layer - causing severe transpiration (no moisture transport)

Private yet conveniently located has a bright sunny disposition and the room is spacious

Could have a kettle and coffee and tea making facilities then it would be perfect

It was a short walk from the main town which may be an issue for some people.

Nothing was too much effort of bother.

Having turned up covered in mud and soaking wet, the landlady took all our clothes and washed and dried them for us. The room was exceptionally comfortable and vast. The breakfast or petit dejeuner was more than adequate and kept us going until lunch. It was within easy walking distance from the town centre and all it’s facilities.

It would have quiet and peaceful if there wasn’t a huge motorcycle event in the town that weekend.

Very good

The owner was very helpful and friendly. He explained where I could store my bike and also kindly kept our bags after check-out. The hotel is right across from the train station and a short 10 minute walk into town. The rooms and facilities were spotless.

No hairdryer in room; not as centrally located as some other hotels, but again just a 10 minute walk!
