This stay was not what I expected or the value for the money.

The host was easy to reach and helped as quickly as she could

I won’t use booking.com again , they made the address hard to access , I had to zelle for payment and that felt weird and the advertised an upstairs and downstairs apartment on the same advertisement and it felt like false advertising

One word...AWFUL

Close to the beach.

The lockbox was difficult to open and the lock on the gate was a nightmare we couldn't open it we had to get the person staying downstairs to work with it. The front door to the Apt was swollen and you had to lift it up if you wanted to get in. There were two locks on the door but only one was actually functional. The AC worked pretty well but there were a couple of remotes and we had to play with each one to find and see what's what. The bathroom was nasty, the place was highly disappointing. It needs TONS & TONS of repairs and LOTS OF TLC. At a pricetag of almost $200 a day I would NOT recommend it. You can get a much nicer place elsewhere. Do your due diligence... I failed to do mine this time around and it bit me on my behind. It was awful and disappointing and I'm being kind.

Best family vacation

I loved that it made me & my family feel so comfortable and welcome everything met up to my expectations

I lost my phone at the beach got it back thank God for good people that live in the neighborhood

Disappointing

apartment in the first floor nice the air conditioning in the living room it was broken

I rented the all house June 13-16 second floor need to fix windows, air conditioning, kitchen , the door make a noise no hot water etc etc

A comfortable stay that is close to both the mountains and beach.

The location is awesome! It’s a half a block to a beautiful beach, Playa Azul, where we were able to snorkel and just a very short drive to the the food kiosks.

Very good

Location was perfect for what we did around Fajardo, Luquilo and even Culebra. It was center for our activities during the last 3 days of our Puerto Rico Trip. The rooms were great and had a nice balcony to unwind and relax too.

Great apartment in a lovely beach town.

What a great location, a couple of blocks to beautiful Luquillo beach. Very easy drive to El Yunque. The apartment is clean and comfy - the spacious balcony is the place to be. Three bedrooms with large beds - the two in the back have very bright lights outside, so bring a sleeping mask unless you plan to close the metal blinds and use the air (totally unnecessary in March).

The worst I ever had !!!

Nothing but was close to beach

Fire ants in bed,roaches in bed,mold everywhere, refrigerator did not work,tv only played music,bathroom was terrible very nasty place needs total rehab

the whole place needs to be maintained. paint flakes of seeling and walls and bath, beds are comfi but stability is bad. if accommodation would be frehened up it would be a perfect place to stay.

Very tidy and lovely apartment equipped with everything you need.

I liked that the apartment was spacious and comfortable for my family of 6. We all had enough space to move around and didn't feel crunched into a small apartment. The view to the beach from the balcony was spectacular, especially in the morning while I enjoyed my cup of coffee. Juan place is a perfect location, very easy to get around and walking distance to awesome bars and restaurants. The apartment was cleaned and had everything you need. Juan was also very helpful since the beginning and available at all times whenever I had any questions.

That I had to leave so soon.

Worst place I have every stayed in Puerto rico

It was close to the beach

The bathroom was horrible paint peeling from the tub , the ceiling has droppings coming down, the pictures are very deceiving. Was not happy with my stay , there was 4 adults and we had 5 towels for a 4 day stay, blankets had holes in them. Would not recommend.

Superb

The property has everything you need, there’s wifi, AC, in every room, a tv, kitchen, fridge, they provide towels. It was very clean. The owner answered every question I had before and during my stay as soon as I texted him or called him. The property is located a block away from Playa Azul. And minutes away from el Yunque and La hacienda Carabali which was a lot of fun! I recommend going there if you’re staying in Luquillo.

Pleasant

Love the view, and is less than 1 min walking distance from the beach.

The ceiling stucco falls in all áreas of the house, but the most uncomfortable is in the kitchen area since you have to prepare the food in another area.

Excellent Beach Gateway.

The host Juan was very polite, accommodating and available when ever I had a question about things to do near by. The place was very clean and the location of the apartment was excellent. Exceptional place to stay with family, friends or alone. I will definitely come back to stay at Luquillo Beach Gateway.
