Parfait

Très bel accueil à notre BNB par Florinda (qui parle français!) Notre grande chambre située au premier étage était toute rose. Nous avions à disposition un frigo avec des bouteilles d’eau, des pâtes de fruits. Installé sur le bureau, il y avait un plan de la ville avec les zones de balade pour rejoindre la ville basse. Il y avait tout ce qu’il fallait niveau literie, nous avons très bien dormi. La zone est très calme. La salle de bain, très fonctionnelle avec une douche de grande taille avec shampooing, savons, gel douche et serviettes de bains. Le jour de notre départ, nous avons eu droit à un petit déjeuner digne d’un hôtel avec cappuccino, café, latte etc, de la mortadelle, des fromages, différents assortiments de pain, des muffins, des yaourts, des confitures. On sent que Florinda fait cela par plaisir et qu’elle aime recevoir. Si vous cherchez un endroit convivial et calme, c’est parfait.

Le BNB se situe dans la ville haute, mais l'attrait principal de Raguse se situe dans la ville basse, il faut donc prévoir la marche (aller/retour). Cependant la vue vaut le coup. Il est possible de remonter en taxi pour 15€.

Simple, si un jour je retourne à Raguse, ça sera au B&B carrubelle que je poserai mes valises !

Le petit déjeuner était complet, et l'hôtesse vraiment au petit soin ! Un vrai plaisir !

Ottima accoglienza. La padrona di casa gentile e ci ha dato un sacco di informazioni su come muoverci a Ragusa e su dove mangiare. B&B pulitissimo, molto personalizzato e super accogliente. In frigo abbiamo trovato bibite fresche e anche arachidi e aperitivo analcolico.Colazione superlativa degna di un 4 stelle. Dormito benissimo. Parcheggio nei dintorni. Straconsigliato

Made us feel very welcome during our stay

Florinda made us local specialities from the region and the breakfast was very comprehensive. Excellent value. She even provided a kettle for us which isnt automatically provided.

Extremely cozy b&b in the center with a wonderful host!

Loved everything about it – especially the wonderful host lady who treated us to a rather rich breakfast and didn't raise any fuss after we didn't have any small bills to pay for the city tax. Oh and she recommended a few cities to visit next and it all worked out great. The room was pretty, good shower, cozy balcony, streaming services in TV etc. The b&b is very close to the old town, so it's very easy to just go straight and start looking for the best restaurants etc. Oh and I definitely recommend going to marina di ragusa the next day, it was easily our favourite seaside town in all of eastern sicily.

all perfect. mind that you must find a parking spot yourself, but even at 6pm we found one on the street leading up to the b&b.

The room is spacious and spotless clean, curated in extreme details with a feminine touch. The welcome gesture with drinks and snacks is a wonderful surprise and we got to chill out in our balcony for a lovely time. The breakfast is very rich and we were offered to try a selection of local pastries and salty snacks. What an experience! The host is very welcoming, helpful and informative. Obviously she works with great passion and 100% efforts. Thumb up for her dedication and determination of running a first class B&B in the historical center of Ragusa!

The location of this B&B can't be better. It's on a quiet side street in a very nice area close to the beautiful San Giovanni Battista cathedral and its surrounding restaurants. Florinda the owner is the perfect hostess, communicative, gregarious, informative, warm and welcoming. Yes, she actually meets her guests which seems more & more rare these days in Italy! Her B&B has been decorated with love, flair and attention to a lot of details. The room is huge with a balcony where one can have an aperitif on the cute chairs & table. The bathroom is roomy, also decorated with love & attention, the shower is great with shampoo & shower gel provided. The bed is comfortable and the mini fridge contains water & a variety of soft drinks. Breakfast is in the very cosy kitchen/breakfast room on the ground floor around a big table laden with many savoury & sweet choices, yoghurt, fruits etc. Those driving can find a free space on the adjacent streets depending on the time & period. f you are reading this, don't hesitate to book this B&B! It really is fantastic!

Great apartment with delicious breakfasts.

Beautifully located apartment, right next to the valley with an amazing view. Florinda is a great host, offering all the help you may need and serving fantastic breakfasts in the mornings. Apartment was very cosy, nicely decorated and very clean.

Finding a parking spot in the area was pretty challenging.

The owner was there personally to receive me and she was very friendly and helpful. She also agreed to serve me a very early breakfast because I had an early train to catch. The neighborhood is very peaceful and it is easy to find when arriving with a train.

Beautiful room

It was a beautiful room all personally decorated by Florinda and her husband. The attention to detail was incredible. It was immaculate. We received complimentary drinks and snacks and the breakfast was amazing. It was a feast! Florinda was a very kind, accomodating and welcoming host. She gave us a map and explained what there was to see in the city…which is beautiful. We found that very helpful.

Nice and spacious room. Attententions were given to the small details which made the room and the B&B more personal;reenforcing the hospitality. Breakfast was great and extensive, personally served by the the friedly owner. There was also a washing machine available and a balcony to hang up the clothes. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, just a few minutes walking from the B&B takes you to the first sightseeing cathedral.
