Tolle Lage und grosses Appartment aber in die Jahre gekommen

Die Lage ist grossartig und die Terasse geräumig.

Das Appartment ist mittlerweile etwas herunter gekommen: in der Spülmaschine läuft das Wasser nicht ab, das Geschirr ist wenig sauber. Der schönen Farben des Wohnraums vom Foto sind so nicht mehr vorhanden. Parkplatz 20-30€ pro Tag.

Extraordinary accommodation right on the beach.

Stunning location steps from the beach. Spacious private terrace well-designed for the sun. Large interior rooms - insulated with multiple AC units. Excellent kitchen. The pictures built-up our hopes and the reality of the accommodation delivered.

great location and with a bit of TLC would be a perfect holiday stay

I would say location was the best thing about this property - beautiful view day and night

- the place needs deep cleaning and attention to maintaining hygiene - yellow stained pillows, no pillow or mattress cover which are both essential - household utensils are basic and some need replacing - we were looking forward to using the BBQ as mentioned in the property facilities but it was old and rusty which needs replacing - an update would have been appreciated that the tele-cabin to Taormina was out of use

Great location. Disappointing apartment

Location is exceptional but the properly is run down.

The smell of dump in the property was an issue. This is not just due to the proximity to the sea but the fact that a property in this location requires frequent maintenance and this has not been performed. The smell was even stronger initially like nobody had opened the windows for long time. Rotting furniture in the bathroom.The television set was not working because it was not updated to the latest digital technology in Italy.

A very special place.

This is a really special holiday property. The location right on the beach in a gorgeous bay is unbeatable. Bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen functional and bathroom good and lounge area perfect. Good equipment such as sunbeds for visitors. As mentioned by other guests this property would be very tricky if you found steps difficult as access is a bit convoluted. Found the communication with the host and the flexibility offered the best I've experienced - thank you so much. Dreaming of returning and I rarely think that !!

This is nothing that I believe the property can fix but worth mentioning - there is a drain that runs just before the steps to the property . There is a plank of wood placed over it to aid stepping overbut the water coming out smells at times and isn't very pleasant to look at. To be fair you notice it at the beginning but once you settle in its not such an issue. The parking situation in the area is very tight. The closest car parks services several popular areas such as the cable car to taormina and isola bella beach so if you leave your space in the morning there is very little change of finding a space again if you return middle of the day. We used the main road but it wasn't very clear what the restrictions were.

A fun 4 days exploring beautiful taormina

A very pretty spot on the beach. Lovely large living space and patio area. A useful hose for post beach cleaning on the patio. A short walk to isola bella where the snorkelling was excellent.

Would have liked a second set of keys as we sometimes went out separately. Our corner of the beach was always full and used by boat trips for mooring so better to swim elsewhere. A limited choice of restaurants within easy walking distance. Expensive parking near the cable car at 20 euros a day but no other option. If you use the car you may not find a space on your return.

Lovely, if we had had water it would have been perfect

Location, Terrace overlooking the Public Beach was spectacular. Restaurants of all types within seconds of Front Door. Activities on and in the beautiful water were plentiful. Quick access to Funivia and Taxis to access Taormina mountain.

Perfect location on this aged beauty

A perfect location direct on the Mazzaro beach. There are 2 sunbeds on the large terrace, and chairs for the rest of the family. Sun from 8-14 o'clock. A well equipped kitchen. Large living room. Efficient AC, worked well in 38 degrees Celsius. Very good wifi. New dishwasher and washing machine.

There is black mold in the right bathroom cabinet. This is the musty smell others are writing about. My asthma got worse due to this. The host did not even answer our questions about this, only looked away. So do not use the right zink, and put a lid over the outlet to reduce the smell. The toilet broke (water pouring and needed to lift lid for flushing) and it took 2 days for techncian to arrive (it was not sunday). It was hard to find the person who handed out the keys. She sent us a photo (!) of a commercial sign but no address explaining where the photo was taken. No street name, no google needle, no landmarks. And since you cannot drive to the apartment (need to walk 200m + some 60 steps) we did not understand where she was waiting for us. It is common on Sicily that you cannot drive the whole way to the apartment, but we stayed in Sicily for 2 weeks and stayed at 6 different apartments/ b&bs/ hotels, and all others could send needles and street names to a meeting points.

This house is perfect! It is just stand before to the sea side that you can easily enjoy beach, sea, and scooters. There are a lot of useful equipments at the house. We made barbecue for two days! It is really enjoyable and comfortable house!

Exceptional

Location was fantastic. Very close distance to restaurants, shops, bus stop and the cable car. Beach was few steps from the apartment. The apartment was a perfect fit for 4 people. The most amazing part of my stay was watching the daily life of local people living nearby and working at the small bay where the apartment was located. I was able to do it when relaxing with a glass of Prosecco on the terrace belonging to the facility after a nice swim. I started to feel more and more like a local. Fantastic experiene.
