The full english breakfast was very filling and somewhat nice. I personally don't like black pudding, so gave that to my husband who said it had a bit of an unusual smokey taste to it. The sausages were cheap, but the bacon, beans and fried eggs were nice. I also didn't enjoy the taste of the hash browns and the cherry tomatoes had an oil taste to them! We didn't have bread or toast, although it was on offer. The served cooked food was more than enough. I made us a cup of coffee to go with the fresh orange juice. When I was at the drink station, I saw used tea bags in a container with green mould on them!!!
As soon as we walked in the house, we were hit with a heavy unwelcoming smell of between old peoples home and funeral parlour! We hoped it was just that area only. Alas, it was everywhere. OPEN THE WINDOWS AND AIR THE HOUSE OUT WITH PLUG INS. There was only one room left available when we booked, which happened to be the economy room. Well, we were amazed how they squoze the furniture in. The double bed was in one corner with the tv hanging over the feet of whoever slept by the wall and LOW window. On the other end of the room was a single bed. In between was a set of wardrobes. We only had a toilet room with a sink in. We had to go down a steep flight of stairs to have our shower. Although we were told the shower room was exclusive to our room only, the bin had rubbish in it. So either the bin hadn't been emptied from the last residents or someone was using our shower room. The bed was so uncomfortable with rock hard pillows. It was an attic room, so couldn't sit up in bed. We had to sit at the end of the bed if we wanted to sit up, or lie down to watch tv. The house has a very old feel to it. Some may say traditional, but there is defiantly a difference. We made our excuses as to why we didn't stay for a second night that we had paid for, we just needed to get out of their and sleep in our own beds. So we travelled home late that day instead of the next morning. We just couldn't stay another moment in that smell and uncomfortable and musty room.

This is a lovely B&B and Olha and Bob are so friendly and welcoming of guests into their family home. The bed was really comfortable and the room was lovely and light. Continental Breakfast was fantastic with a great selection available.
There wasn't anything I didn't like however the TV might need a new remote control as the back panel is missing.

I wanted to introduce my boyfriend to the concept of a traditional British bed & breakfast, and Bob and Olha's stay exceeded all of our expectations! So friendly and attentive, they welcomed us and even upgraded to a bigger room, which was super spacious, warm and beautifully decorated. The breakfast is out of this world and so worth experiencing, it's huge too! As I'm Ukrainian it was especially pleasing to learn that Olha is Ukrainian also, she showed us lots of Ukrainian books, decorations and ornaments around the house - it truly felt like coming home. We will be back and will recommend Bob & Olha's place to all of our friends!

I stayed here for a few nights with my dog. We were both made very welcome (especially my dog), and the owners couldn’t have been more helpful. I even got some great insights about where to visit in the area. Would recommend to others & stay again if I’m in the area.

friendly hosts lovely view out of our window
excellent breakfast at extra cost
our superior room was very small with only one chair tired bedding and bed ,awful towels fridge in landing not in bedroom as stated and shared with other guests
not serviced once during our 3 night stay so no coffee or milk after the first night no bath robes or slippers as stated
having read reviews of a countryside retreat had very high expectations so we were very disappointed

Outstanding Welcome!!!! A property of real character, with hosts who also have warmth and character to cheer you up inn Life, not just for your stay in their home. The location up Swansea Valley gives a beautiful view of the facing hillside....all so green. The breakfasat choice was excellent.... we had the Continental Breakfast ....no rushing to move guests on.....
I wish we could have stayed for a whole week instead of the two days we had in the area....... that's OUR fault!!! We shall return.......

Liked outdoor space for dog. Warm friendly welcome.
Sadly room was bit too warm being at the top of the house. Number of stairs not very suitable for partner. Being of limited mobility. Breakfast little bit pricey as partners only had half of a normal breakfast. Otherwise fine.

Bob and Olha were super welcoming. We had a lovely time, they made us feel almost home. The garden view was exceptional and the skylights in our top floor rooms enabled us to watch shooting stars at night.
Nothing, it was superb.

A warm welcome on arrival from Olha and Bob.
Made to feel at home.
The King room with mountain view was large and inviting, with state of the art en suite facilities.
Breakfast would set you up until Supper. Olha provides generous portions and takes great pride in providing guests with a relaxing breakfast experience. Everything catered for, very attentive hosts.
Everything was perfect.

Bob and olha were lovely, so very friendly and welcome despite us turning up late with a very excitable dog. Room was quiet and comfortable.

Ohla and Bob were extremely welcoming and made both myself and my fiance feel at home immediately. Nothing was too much for either of them, and they were always on hand when we needed something, especially when I had a wardrobe disaster and needed a safety pin! Thanks Ohla. The location was stunning and he room and facilities exceeded our expectations, with an extremely comfortable bed, impeccably clean En Suite, and a stunning view of the horse fields from our windows. The garden was manicured and still a bit wild, which we loved, and we were greeted warmly by them both on the patio the first morning. Being a gay couple we have our reservations about staying away from chain hotel businesses, however we both felt extremely welcomed and would 10/10 recommend this guest house for all stated above, and as an LGBTQ+ friendly place to stay. We will definitely be staying here again and look forward to seeing them both in the future! We both sincerely thank you Ohla and Bob for making our experience in Wales one to remember!
