Bene!

Camere grandi ed Esteticamente molto curate. La modalità con la grande e pratica cucina per tutti gli ospiti e la camera privata e’ un’idea che ci e’ piaciuta molto.

Bagno piccolo e lavandino e doccia che non scaricano bene. In camera potrebbe trovar posto un armadio in più dove riporre i vestiti.

Great stay in Machico

The place has character. Lots of old reclaimed wood and other details, while still feeling modern. There is a shared kitchen with some free to use coffee, tea, noodles, etc. It's right next to the beach, and the price is very competitive. I enjoyed my stay.

Très bonne adresse,beau concept original

Tout est très propre,la chambre,la partie commune;j’ai adoré ce concept,un peu « auberge espagnole « ,on peut se faire à manger dans la grande cuisine commune.Chaque chambre a son petit placard avec sa vaisselle dans cette cuisine,ainsi que des compartiments dans le frigo.C’est une très bonne idée.Le mobilier est choisi avec beaucoup de goût,et Ruben est très sympathique et de bons conseils,c’est vraiment une très bonne adresse en plein centre ville,avec tous les magasins et restaurants et en bord de mer.

La salle de bain et la douche petite,et un parking à 5 mn de marche,et ça grimpe pour rechercher la voiture à cette station BP,qui est souvent complet.

Amazing stay, absolutely loved the room, and so much space! 100% better than the regular hotel we could have booked

Amazing room: very spacious, luminous, clean and tasteful! We loved it and would definitely come back again if we are back in Machico! Host was very welcoming, provided useful tips ans recommendations.

Only minor downside would be the mini fridge in the room placed near the bedframe - makes a bit of noise sometimes (but can be moved easily)

Highly recommended!

Incredibly friendly hosts, very clean and comfy - out of 4 places where we stayed in madeira, this one felt the most comfortable (and not the most expensive!) , i traveled with my mom and she shares my opinion:) thank you!

We loved staying at this place which is perfectly located in the center of Machico. The host is super friendly and gave us great advice for hikings in the area.

Clean, centrally located hostel/guesthouse in Machico

- Large, clean room as pictured - Ideal location just 1-2 blocks from the beach - Very clean and well organized hostel-style kitchen, with separate lockers for each room. everything in the kitchen was very clean and well labeled

- More similar to a hostel than a guesthouse (though it is a nice, clean hostel) - Didn’t accept credit cards (only cash or PayPal bank transfer) which was a bit surprising - Check in process a bit cumbersome - needed to contact hostel via WhatsApp with time of arrival for hosts to meet you - Shower very small (though this is clear in the photos)

a fantastic stay for hikers and explorers

- really nice ambience - excellent location especially for hiking - accessible by public transport via Machico - good concept - Ruben, the manager, is full of know-how to best explore Madeira on foot

- internet connectivity, especially in rooms further away from the kitchen could be imrpoved

Highly commendable!

I loved everything about this property. First and foremost, hands up to Ruben (owner) for the hospitality and kindness. We truly are grateful for being warm and welcoming! I appreciate the time he took in giving us tips - where to eat, and convinced us to do the hike to são lourenço which is a must!, getting us taxi was far beyond.. thank you! We felt safe and comfortable all throughout our stay. The room was spacious, clean and tidy. We loved the decors, too! Sheets and towels were spotless and smells clean (i have OCD when it comes to these so, well done :)) communal area was impressive as well - everything is there and you can definitely cook and feel at home, too bad we could not stay longer. I would go back to Machico, and definitely I will book this place again. :)

Very good location.

Ruben welcomed me with open arms. Very good host. I didn’t get to spend as long as I wanted but the short time I did I enjoyed it.

Ruben is a special host, very friendly and helpful, the rooms are awesome and very comfortable.

Very comfortable room and lovely kitchen, everything is well cleaned and the common area has your own private spaces well arranged. about 50 meters from the sea and near to restaurants and markets.

Wonderful stay - can't recommend enough

- Communal kitchen and patio area are great to get the community feel of a hostel without the cons - The room was spacious and very comfortable, excellent water pressure in the bathroom which is always a plus - Amazing host who gave us lots of recommendations for our stay in Madeira - Great location close to the beach and restaurants. Machico is a good base to explore the island

very clean, great shower. very organised and helpful. definitely a place to stay longer.

the parking was not as close as I would have liked and thee is no air conditioning so the room was quite hot at night

excellent option of choice in Machico, birthplace of the island. Beach, Trails near the beach. Great accommodations with receptivity and recommendations from the Madeirense owner.

Very good

I loved the space overall. This is a guesthouse where many travellers share the kitchen. There's everything you might need when cooking. The room itself is spacious and nice. And the ocean with one of the best beaches is just 5 minutes away.

Facilities ar e a bit outdated and the room was a bit dark. Still it doesn't influence the overall experience much as you definitely don't want to spend much time inside when at Madeira :D

A hidden gem in the center of Machico

The decoration and attention to details is what makes this guest house so special. I stayed in the room “music”, it was very spacious and had great views. The kitchen follows a system that allows the guests to share the cleaning, cooking, and storage areas and still keep it organized and clean. The owners are lovely and always ready to help.

I really liked it here, we stayed for 2 nights and the host was really friendly the room was great value for money a lovely rustic vibe close to a beautiful beach. Couldnt complain about anything 😊
