Initially we were concerned about being North of the Split, but the shuttle boat from the hotel dock was convenient. Bay Towers had bikes available for a quick pedal to nearby restaurants. The few times we caught the ferry, the rates and hours were more than reasonable. Our room was comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Great, quiet place to chill out and have a very relaxing stay. The host Rene and his employees are very nice people and will help you whenever they can. The property is located on the north side of Caye Caulker. You can get a ferry on short walking distance and Rene has a private shuttle service on specific times, which makes this property very easy accessible. Would recommend this place very much if you’re looking for a chill-out holiday, where you can find things to do whenever you feel like it, and escape the busier south side. The property owns a nice beach (without seaweed), great pool and you can use the bikes and canoes whenever you want (for free). We will definitely book this again!

The host Rene could not have been more accommodating and went above and beyond the call to make a pleasant stay. It was wonderful to experience quality service that has become a rare commodity. This is the first review I have ever left for any hotel!

The location was great, felt like we were on our own private island. Dock all to ourselves each day to swim and tan, kayaks and floaties as well.
Crossing the split was simple and never gave us any inconvenience doing so.
We did wish the listing was a little clearer in terms of the 1-bedroom suite not being in the tower, but the smaller building behind. Rene rectified that and allowed us to upgrade to the tower for an additional fee.

Pure and simple...it was LUXURY on the North Side of the island. The owner Rene provides everything you could ever need for a wonderful stay. From the free boat ride to the South, to the modern and handsome decor, to the sparkling clean pool to the grill and outdoor amenities, Bay Towers has it all! Did I mention that the sunsets off your private dock are stunning? They are! It's the best place to stay in Caye Caulker for a personal and concierge visit that can't be beat!

the property was gorgeous, the outdoor areas were perfect for enjoying the sun and then our room was very comfortable and well air conditioned for recovering from sun burns:)

The location is great and if you are looking for quiet location in Caye Caulker, yet a place convenient to the south island, book Bay Towers. Rene and the staff are great hosts always making sure our stay was perfect by being friendly and helpful. The rooms were exceptional clean and the linens soft and comfortable. TV and internet both worked great. Free kayaks, bicycles and tubes to float in the bay were available. Plenty of chairs and shade available on the waterfront. We saw hermit crabs, angel fish and a ray from the dock. This is a small intimate property that is a hidden gem and one you should book without hesitation.
This was a perfect stay. Only thing to be aware of all over the island are the bugs that will bite you. Make sure to bring bug spray, but if you forget, Rene has some you can use.

Everything! Peaceful, beautiful location, friendly host and staff, comfortable clean apartments.
Nothing!

Secluded and quiet. Party on the island, Rest In Peace and quiet.
Mosquitoes but nothing a little off can’t fix.

*loved it
*felt more like staying with family than at someone’s hotel
*host and staff are great and very personable
* quiet area. Glad we stayed on the north island. The south part is more for partying
* Great that we had a room with a full kitchen so we had most of our meals there. (would suggest buying food in Belize city before taking the ferry over if possible for more selection and better prices; there are several grocery stores though on the island though)

Bay Towers fully met our expectations. The choice to opt for the Northern part was spot on. Rene - the host - is always willing to take us back and forth with his boat between North and South. Moreover, Rene is generally the most helpful and pleasant host we have experienced in a very long time.
As the Northern part has fewer accommodations and people, there is more flora and fauna such as birds and iguanas. We also spotted crocodiles a few times. We can recommend this place to anyone who is looking for space, privacy and a pleasant environment.
Nothing :)

Our stay couldn't have been better! The property was amazing - located right on the water with a beach/dock to swim, games the kids loved (corn hole, basketball, volleyball, checkers, etc.), and a path over to the property next door where we had dinner one night. There are four floors, each having its own apartment-type accommodations. We had the fourth floor and had 360 degree views of the water. There are two balconies which we really enjoyed hanging out on. The inside of our place was very comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. Being a family of five we really enjoyed having two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Rene, who owns Bay Towers, was amazing! He was always finding ways to make our stay even better, such as giving us a loaf of delicious homemade banana bread when we arrived which we enjoyed having for breakfast each morning during our stay. Rene was also always more than happy to take us in his boat to the south side of the island, which is where most of the restaurants/shops are. We really enjoyed staying on the north side of the island though because it was quieter and more relaxing. It was never an issue getting a ride into town when we wanted one. I look forward to one day coming back to Bay Towers again!
Everything was great, I only wish we could have stayed even longer!

Amazing.
No words to describe how good it was!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights over Christmas and we absolutely loved it! Rene and all the staff were all absolutely amazing. The accomodation was well presented, clean, spacious, well equipped kitchen and had a lovely balcony.
We felt so well looked after. Rene made excellent restuarant recommendations and was very helpful answering all our questions.
The fact that the accomodation is on the North part of the Island made this so special in our opinion. It was quiet and beautiful. Rene did three times a day trips to the south side of the island but was so accommodating about taking us at alternative times when we needed to. We made use of the kayaks and bikes for free.
We would absolutely recommend staying here! Thank you!

it was beautiful comfortable and the owner is very accommodating
The only thing I didn’t like about the property was nothing except for there was no store around we had to have the owner take us across the split so that we could go shopping Which he was very accommodating he would even go get things for us the owner was extremely nice and wonderful we enjoyed our stay there very much

Rene and his team made our stay incredible. He answered numerous questions before arriving to ease our international travels during COVID. He arranged a pick-up at the Water Taxi to his dock and a fly over the Great Blue Hole and intro scuba for us. He also transferred us back and forth to the south island for no additional charge. We lucked out and had the entire place to ourselves. He has all kinds of water equipment for free, and the lagoon in front of the Towers is clean, easy to enter and exit, and very calm, so it was great for soaking or swimming. Because it is north of the split, it is super quiet. The AC and wifi were both excellent. The Towers allow you to see water almost 360 degrees. So you can enjoy a sunrise and sunset from the two balconies. Having a full kitchen and fridge were nice perks too. His staff clean everything discretely and thoroughly. My family travel often and this place is a hidden gem. Book it and enjoy!

I honestly don’t know where to start. From the beginning and end of my trip the owner and Gordo made sure me and my son had everywhere needed and beyond. From fresh fruit and coconuts, complimentary boat rides to the split at no additional charge, taking me and my son to go see fish u see water and so much more. They treated me like family and me and my son did not want to leave. They treated us like royalty. Before the end of our trip he made sure to book our Covid 19 test which I forgot I had to do. I’m thankful to have met two ppl who really wanted to make sure our stay was memorable!! Rene and Gordo, me and AJ will see you soon ! Thank you!

A magnificent boutique hotel for relaxation nestled in the red mangroves of Caye Caulker. Our family had the place to ourselves. The owner, Rene, treated us like family. Bay Towers is on the higher end of sophistication than most of the hotels on Caye Caulker. The hotel is not pretentious. Rene takes personal pride and responsibility in every detail on how the hotel is run. The rooms are spacious with two full bathrooms. There is a full kitchen. There are televisions in every room with Dish network. Who comes here to watch tv? Only in the rainy season perhaps. Rene's assistant, Gordo, is very attentive and has a boyish charm. Rene was very accommodating taking us across the Split each day. He arranged tours for us with the best companies. Bay Towers is a place to come back to for a amazing vacation in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Bay Towers is a family run hotel and not a corporate Marriott. I think that is an advantage. Some may want the huge pools and long beaches and the uniformed staff. If you do, then San Pedro is for you.

The location was perfect for us. It was quiet with a great pool and an amazing sunset view. They offer free bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, and paddle boat for guests to enjoy. Next door is a great restaurant and bar. The split is a 5 minute boat ride away. The staff were great and accommodating. We highly recommend.
Every thing was great.

Renee and his staff went above and beyond to ensure our birthday trip was amazing! The facilities were impeccably clean and although the hotel is located on the north side (perfect for families/couples who want quiet time) they were very flexible and willing to take us to the other side at moments notice. The views from the hotel are beautiful! The kitchen had all the essential cooking ware so this made meal planning easier. There were no issues with the water pressure as we heard from some folks who stayed in San Pedro. We had a bit of a scare on the first day of our trip (no fault of the hotel of course) and unfortunately a family member was detained overnight. Thankfully Mr. Jaime accompanied me bright and early the very next day into the city to sort out the misunderstanding. After 8+ hours we returned to Bay Towers with the missing family member in hand. We greatly appreciate how they welcomed us and their services. We plan on returning in the future and recommend Bay Towers to anyone looking to stay in Caye Caulker. You won't regret it!
