Great location, easy quick drive into town and near my friend who we were visiting.
Local shop and takeaway to get food which was handy.
We had a problem and the woman I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant, apologetic and helpful.
There was mould on the bedroom wall, which was particularly unfortunate as we had a baby with us. Reported this and was offered to move the next day but the alternative place was not a great location for us and didn’t have parking. We had plans all day so decided moving wasn’t suitable and accepted a partial refund. I felt this should have been more but agreed to disagree. Aside from the mould the place could have been cleaner.

Travelled alone with my 3 kids and felt very safe staying in the flat - great location and decent bakery for a morning coffee just down the road.
We had everything we needed and it was spotless on arrival. Travelled by Uber most days which was between £4-5 to the city centre.
We would definitely stay again.

The apartment was lovely. Cheaper than a travelodge. Really good value for money. Was a 30min walk to the centre but we don't mind the walk.

Perfect lower ground floor flat in york which was ideal for a friends weekend away. Accommodation was basic, but have eveything we needed for a short stay with toilet roll and hand soap, washing up liquid provided.
The standard of cleaning was very poor. The put up bed in the living room was really grubby, with used cutlery and food crumbs found in the mattress, and the sheets stained. We actually had to remove the mattress and shake it outside. The main master bedroom bed was comfortable enough. The noise from the upstairs flat was also pretty loud, with lots of stomping and music playing at around 1am so not ideal if like us you like your sleep. Location wise im glad i had my car to collect my friend from the train station as its a good 20min walk along a busy road from the train station. Certainly doable but with bags and luggage i would recommend a taxi. If however your going to and from out the centre this could get costly. Parking outside the flat was no problem. Access is via a key safe and easy to get in. There was water pouring down from the gutter on one night which flooded the outside porch area, but by morning it had gone. Minor problems. Up the standard of cleaning and the review would have been better.

We didn't know where the sheets and extra blankets were for the pullout sofa bed. After a few phonecalls we were able to find them in the storage beneath the main bed. Grand job

We enjoyed the comfort of the bed and having access to a full kitchen which was fully equipped with all the necessary items we needed. Having a wash/dryer was also a plus having young kids.
Unfortunately for us, it was extremely noisy when people where coming into the property above us as we constantly heard doors slamming, people talking loudly, and things being moved around at all hours throughout the night which in turn woke my kids. I would definitely say that was the least thing we enjoyed about our stay. I think knowing what I know now in regards to the noise you would hear above the property, we probably wouldn't stay there again especially with our young kids.

Near in town.
Mmm.. 🙄 When we assemble the sofa-bed. We noticed have mark on protector sheet, needed to wash and hoover. Loads of crumbs... Also when we are looking for spare pillows and sheets cnt find it. because never left a note where to look at. Phoned and told us if we look at under the bed. We look at the bed but there's no drawers, so we lifted the mattress and we found inside. Exhaust fan in toilet not working. Just 1 small mirror and no chair on dressing table. Other than that place is OK and near at the Town.

Lovely apartment spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Location was good 20/25 min walk into city centre. The agent was extremely helpful regarding checking in earlier. We will definitely book again.

Good location, nice and clean, well equipped. Exactly what we ordered.
Slight damp by the window in the bedroom with paint coming off. Imagine it’s because of the property being a basement appartment.

Basically Clean and nice room.
Couldn't accepted wifi password.
Gas top didnt cleaning.
Couldn't find any anti bacterial things for cleaning.
Room looks very clean but im not sure they did use anti bacterial things for cleaning.
Cause we have kids so i wish they have it then I could keep clean room more.

Nice location, close to city centre. enough kitchenette, towels, linens. Close to a park for morning walk. Close to bus stop. Polite and friendly staff.
They could’ve provided extra set of towels and two duvets as we were family of 4. A wall clock could come in handy in the house too. £70 cleaning fee is a bit too much according to me. £50 could have been sufficient.

The only down side to the property was there wasn’t any fans in the property as the apartment was warm and even with windows open didn’t get much of a breeze

Lovely basement flat. Very clean, really comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, quiet location. Comfy sofa and nice fixtures and fittings. Good location outside of city centre but within walking distance and about a 10 minute walk to The Fox pub which was a great pub with a big beer garden. Hosts were prompt and helpful when replying to our queries.
Only thing that would stop us staying again would be the noise from the property upstairs. You can hear them walking about and doors being shut really quite clearly. I understand you get that in a period property conversion though and not much that could be done about it. There was also some strange banging from above over a few nights which went on for a good few hours which didn't sound like the people above moving about? We reported this and hosts said they'd look into it which was good. Also, the bedroom had a slightly damp smell and some damp in the corner but I understand that's also being fixed.

Lovely apartment. Was really close to York, with a bus stop just outside that ran buses to the centre. Supermarket, restaurants and pubs all within walking distance. Apartment was clean, airy and comfortable. Lovely place, I would definitely stay again.
We could not for the life of us get the TV working. Not a major issue as we were out for most of our stay but it would have been nice to have the option. There were only 2 full towels which was odd considering it allowed for 4 people and it said towels would be provided. Also was only given 2 toilet rolls. I understand we could go buy some more, but I would have thought there’d be more for a long weekend stay for 4 people.

The apartment was super clean and furnished to a very high standard. There were all of the facilities we needed; bedding, towels and a well-equipped kitchen.
It’s situated in a gorgeous period property, but feels very modern inside!
No real complaints, only some suggestions for minor improvements: make more than one toilet roll available and include kitchen towel.
