no breakfast, but they left a bottle of wine and a packet of byron bay cookies! there was also coffee and tea and some non-perishables in the pantry. consider uht milk for next time?

The sofa bed bolts that secure both mattress sides kept sliding off. i didnt mind as i was the only one using the couch, but it would have been inconvenient for a couple to use it

The apartment had everything we needed. The little grassed area was super cute. Also the bed was comfy. The location was so close to everything. Our hosts were very hospitable also. Their communication was so helpful.

The place was well-furnished.

The entire booking experience was unpleasant. They charge your card immediately, yet have a strict non-refund clause. Then hit you with long list of house rules and a rental agreement to sign. There is also a security deposit of $500 - $2000 charged a day before check-in, and multiple clauses of how they will charge you up to $3,000 if you break their house rules. Furthermore, they then proceed to ask you multiple questions and do a background check on you to determine if you qualify to stay as a house guest. All this should have been communicated to me BEFORE charging my credit card, and I would have gladly stayed somewhere else, where I don't feel like I'm being held hostage to your terms. The property itself is well-furnished. It's an old Queensland house, floor boards are thin and I was kept up all night when people were checking at 1am to the unit upstairs. Just the sound of footsteps are really loud at night. For a property that considers itself to be 'luxury' BnB, we were disappointed that they only provided towels, pillows and blankets for 2 guests. It's clearly stated that this hideaway is for 4 guests. They also asked for the ages of EACH of our guests, so they clearly knew there would be 4 of us. And of course, the constant reminders about the bins, otherwise you'll get charged $35/ bin. Perhaps they should turn off the auto-reminder to take out bins on Monday night if guests are NOT staying on Monday night. I've stayed at other BnBs that are less 'luxurious' but are able to sort out the logistics of taking out the bins instead of putting the onus on their guests. I wouldn't be back, and would steer clear of all other properties managed by them.

WiFi passwords did not work, bed was uncomfortable and some areas not cleaned properly. Noise from property upstairs. The most off-putting part however was the communication. Have never experienced scrutiny and threats of penalties such as this and we regularly make bookings over multiple platforms 🙄

Accomodation was very clean, great location for a weekend in the city and had all the facilities we could ask for. Kitchen has basic stock on arrival, oil ect so you can cook with just a quick stop at the grocery store. Apartment is furnished with care so has a nice homely feel and very very comfortable.

Although wonderfully equipped with facilities we had issues with dishwasher and believe there was some drainage issues as the laundry and shower were occasionally a bit stinky. I am sure these will be seen to quickly as you can tell the owner cares about the space and customer experience. Only note is that it is a ground floor apartment and the people upstairs were quite active - footsteps were very loud and as a light sleeper I found them a bit disruptive. Not a huge issue for a holiday visit but had it been a business trip I would have appreciated a heads up or some ear plugs! We are very quite people so probably a bit sensitive, others may not have even noticed!

Booked this property which seemed like a good deal at the time. After booking I received a long message with added Ts&Cs, including a pet fee to be charged at a per day rate of 33$ per pet, that the AC units were not to be set below 24* and were not to be run 24/7. No shoes in the property, an extra fee for not taking the street bins out and a cleaning fee if the BBQ is used and not cleaned after use, among other restrictions.

Check in and out is very easy. The apartment was comfortable and in a location that suited us.

The parking space for our apartment was a bit squeezy.

The area was quite, the apartment was modern and our initial check in process was fairly easy.

Upon our arrival the apartment was so dirty we weren't sure if the cleaner had been yet!! My first instinct was to pickup some spray & wipe. Every cupboard inside and out was grimy, None of the appliances had been wiped down, the floors had a greasy film on them so we had to wear shoes as it felt gross to walk on. The rubbish bin wasn't emptied, there was underwear left in the drawers from the previous guests. The ceiling fans were caked in dust we were too scared to turn them on. The listing was advertised to sleep 4 adults. We booked for 3 but there was no extra linen provided for the sofa which was covered in dog hair!!! We called Craig the owner to express our concerns to which he apologized and said he would get the cleaner to come back and fix things up. We returned later that evening after working long hours to find the apartment still not satisfactory. We decided to stay out until late the next evening after another long day of working because none of us wanted to go back to the apartment. We even considered driving back home to the Gold Coast but we had another early start the next morning in Brisbane. My husband and I have stayed in many Airbnb's and I'm not one to usually complain however this was not a nice experience and I think other travellers should be informed. After returning home on Sunday evening I sent my feedback to the owner and requested a full refund to which he denied, except for the cleaning fee and blamed us for the dog hair! ...Unbelievable!!

Location was ideal for us - close to medical specialists and also close to a variety of restaurants. Very easy access to main roads.

First, It was impossible having Craig return my calls....when we arrived we couldn't find the lockbox & when I called him his answer was "I'm busy I'll get back to you" 3 hrs later he returned my call & thank goodness the cleaners were there because the code was incorrect & I needed to use the bathroom. There was a full rubbish bin & box full of rubbish in the cupboard, the coffee machine had not been cleaned & was full of empty pods. During the week we needed to use the spare blanket which smelt of dog, so that was changed, we had to ask for more toilet paper & extra towels as 2 are not enough for a whole week. I re made the bed as the cleaners don't know how sheets go onto a bed properly & lastly my husband vacuumed & under the bed he discovered a shoe & sock, paper, & papers.. He also cleaned the front patio which was filthy & there was an empty can out there & the BBQ was absolutely filthy (it has not been cleaned for a very long time!!) BUT the bathroom & toilet were clean, the kitchen was clean although the dryer was full of lint &n the washing machine need to be cleaned before use. Holly was very good at returning my calls & seeing to my complaints which I think have been justified.
