We really enjoyed the accommodation and it suited our family perfectly with two teenage children. The house had everything we needed and more. The view, the pool and the surrounding nature were amazing.
Vasiliki greeted us warmly and was always available if we had questions or wondered about something. (Thanks, Vasiliki! 😊)
I already miss the nice house on the mountain and hope we will return again one day.
The road to the house has room for improvement …

Absolutely lovely place. Stuff very very friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful. We were welcomed by Vasiliki who was very proactive giving us more details about attractions, restaurants and things to do at the west side of the island. We found the place very well equipped and there was even fresh refrigerated water, juice, milk, wine and a few snacks for us on arrival. We were able to cook a meal one of the days we stayed there at as the place has pretty much anything one may need to boil, fry and bake with. Bed was very comfortable and the TV could be moved easily from the lounge area to the bed area which made it possible to watch a programme from either side. TV was smart one so we could get Netflix etc. WiFi was great too. Shower and bathroom in general functioned well without surprises or issues. All very clean and tidy in general with ample space to leave our things back well organised. Air Conditioning was a gem, really powerful and so much needed as we visited in the heart of the summer and with a heatwave going on at the time. One of the other suites with a dedicated pool was not occupied during our stay, so we were told we could make use of it unless anything changes. That was a really nice upgrade and good gesture from the host, which we really appreciated! Views from the pool area were absolutely gorgeous. Communication was really easy via WhatsApp in case we needed anything. Fast and prompt replies at all times, which gave us the sense we can rely on our hosts. The place was easy to navigate too - we just used google maps and got us there accurately. At the hall of the villas area, there's a stunning opening with a bar (?) area which we didn't see open but next to it there are 3 table-chair sets one can sit and enjoy their drinks overseeing a stunning view to the sea. We didn't sit there but it was an option I guess. Overall fantastic experience, 5-star service for sure!
The road to the villas area is by no means great. The last 800m to the destination is a rough concrete-like surface which makes sense in steep areas but it's like that for the whole of it. It's very narrow (only 1 car fits at a time) and it can be tedious to reverse until an opening is found so that one of the cars can pass if there's face-to-face bump with another car. There's big potholes in 2-3 places one needs to avoid or you'd be looking for new suspension. At one particular point we got stuck as the wheels were spinning on the road due to some sand that was spilled by tracks bringing construction materials to a building site was under construction at the time of our stay (300m away from the property?). A compact SUV with 4WD would be ideal on such terrain but anything else like a <100BHP compact car I used at the time may give you a bit of a hassle. The road is really unfair to the property and I appreciate the owners cannot do much about it until it's done up. Although, I would like to be made aware of it in advance. If your car is not well serviced or the tyres are not in good shape, you could be in bad luck and having it stuck there is the last thing anyone wants.

The location and views were absolutely amazing. What made the experience exceptional were the wonderful people that owned and run the operation. They made us feel like we were a part of their family. We will return!
We didn’t like the fact that we had to leave.

peaceful location, the kindest hosts. It was extremely clean and well looked after just above Sivota harbour which was amazing.
The track up the mountain was steep and rocky, tricky to get up at first.

The view of the villas we stayed is a steal from paradise.
The peaceful noise of the tree leaves, the calmness of the blue sea touching the horizon, the water of the pool collecting flowers made us relax and refresh our minds.
The host was always discreetly near us and she politely helped us with valuable guiding messages.
Tohar gave us truly wonderful picks in restaurants, bars, poi and helped us squeeze out all the memories we could get from our short stay of 3 nights.
The house is nicely decorated, clean everywhere and with with a nice scent.
We were gently allowed a few bottles of water in the fridge (the top water is not potable) and some sweets and biscuits on the table.
The villa is nearly fully equipped with appliances of all kinds, so there is no need to bring anything with you.
Although the location of the villa we stayed has an amazing view of the Syvota Bay, the road to reach it is a roller coaster. Some of its areas are highly inclined and some with dirt although there is tarmac or cement in most of it.
You should consider only a 4x4 car or a high SUV to reach it without hurting the cars bottom.
The way from the villa to Syvota bay where all the restaurants and bars are located could be a downhill pleasant route but the way up its nearly unreachable to the elderly people or walkers (I don't mean trained hikers of course).
The window shutters do not block the sun from getting in and the curtains are mostly decorative, without blackout rollers, so if you are light sensitive as I am you will wake early enough during your holidays.
I haven't read the make-up room policy but during the three nights, the bed sheets and towels haven't changed.
The near market is in Syvota bay is very basic so if you would like a variety of fresh fruits or a slightly bigger choice of products a 45 minute drive to Lefkada is necessary or at least a 30 minute up to Nydri.
Syvota is a calm place, don't expect a late night life or a big variety of different restaurants. Unfortunately the majority of the restaurants found at the port have the old fashioned touristic approach in mind with the pushy waiter manners to make you seat when passing by.
Considering all above I think the 300€/night is somewhat expensive. I really don't know the hotel/villa "competition" of the area but staying in various location all over the globe I wouldn't expect a cost more than 180€/night for my visit. However Tohar's elegant approach, fast reactions and brilliant smile could possibly make up the difference if you are person-centric person as I am.

Amazing little oasis, with spectacular views, it is a little slice of paradise.
A comfortable place with cool vibe and lovely warm host Tohar ,who goes
out of her way to make sure your stay is comfortable and relaxing.
If you like to kick back and unwind in a-peaceful, quiet Ionian valley, looking over the
beautiful Mediterranean ocean, then this could be the perfect spot for you.
