It was very disappointing.
The views were spectacular
It was very dirty. It had very low water pressure which made a shower a chore. The deck had a hole in it. It took 2 days ti get the hot tub up to temperature. Overall it was just a waste of money. The only thing it had going for it was the view.

I would stay there again
I loved the view, and the working hot tub. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. They even had seasoning for cooking and plenty of cookware and dishes. There's a food shopping store about 20 to 25 minutes to the cabin which was convenient. There were instructions on what to do if there was trouble with the wifi or tv not working as well which was great and was an easy fix without having to contact anyone. I loved the keyless door entry as well, and even flashlights were provided for use! The hosts really thought out everything that would be needed.
I would absolutely stay there again, but only a few things to mention just for people to be aware of- finding the cabin and driving up the mountain to it was difficult, especially at night. The directions provided by the host were great, but the markers were difficult to find, especially at night so we did get lost a few times. I would highly recommend a car that can handle hills, but that being said we had a hybrid toyota prius and it did the job- only one area got questionable but I would use a different car for sure next time. Lastly, this is minor but to be noted, the water in the pots took forever to boil, and the water pressure wasn't great which we attributed to being well water, but it taste great so we just refilled our canteens instead of buying bottled water!

Treacherous & dangerous entryway
Loved the balcony and set rise
The home has the worst and most dangerous/treacherous driveway. Customers are being charged a fee but still do all maintenance & cleaning, we should not be charged since we have to wash dishes and laundry & take trash with us? That fee should be deducted. All the amnieties are not here as advertised. Over charged for this type cabin. They do not allow early arrival and check- out is earlier than a hotel. (This particular cabin has to many rules & stipulations- mainly if you don’t abide their rules of doing the house keepers job, - the company VACASA will charge your account.) It is stated on papers posted throughout the cabin😡 most of all - they need a propane grill and or charcoal at the site for the astronomical fees that are being charged.

Amazing view and great location to access the Great Smoky Mountains National park.
Checking in was very easy. The keyless entry worked very well. The best part was the absolutely stunning view of the mountains from the deck! It was very peaceful and relaxing, which was why we selected this location. We also wanted to hike in the GSM park and Bryson City was a great location.
The beds were not comfortable. Also, the kitchen cabinet doors for some reason felt greasy, though everything was otherwise clean,.

Excellent!
We liked the house , the view, the hot tub, the camping fire, so cozy, so beautiful!
We had a hard time to climb up the hill, and my friend think the bed in Master bedroom was too soft for him.

BEAUTIFUL VIEW, BUT TAKE PROVISIONS WITH YOU TO EAT. YOUR NOT GOING TO WANT TO TRAVEL IN AND OUT.
THE VIEW WAS BEAUTIFUL. THE MILE GRAVEL ROAD TO GET TO THE HOME WAS WELL KEPT, BUT VERY CHALLENGING!

Unbelievable views and a nice clean and comfortable, secluded cabin
Unbelievable views!!! No kidding the property is called "Heaven on Earth"! Located about 15 minutes outside of Bryson City, this is truly a gem. The views are second to none. The check in was super easy and the cabin was clean. The kitchen had all the necessities. The location to hiking and the Smoky mountains was fantastic. Very remote and secluded. There is a bedroom downstairs and one upstairs- each with a full bed. in addition, there are 2 twin beds in the loft overlooking the living room. Plenty of space for 4-5 persons, though we were not used to sleeping in full beds as a couple. One thing to note, which led to the cabin being secluded is a 1.3 mile uphill (600 feet elevation increase) drive. DO NOT attempt in the dark the first time... and it does get dark. Unless you have mountain driving experience, 4wheel drive is a must :)
This is not something we didn't like, but just really want to stress- make sure that you have 4 wheel drive, especially when roads are slick. The road is mainly gravel and is steep. We were a little confused with the decor. The cabin decor is a mix of cabin style with jungle style. Not a huge deal, but it was a little confusing. Also, the beds weren't the most comfortable. We generally prefer beds that aren't quite as soft. Lastly, I know that the cabin is in the mountains and trash pick up doesn't exist, but we had to wait until 7 am to leave so that we could take the trash down the mountain to the garbage area to avoid the $40 trash fee. This put us a little later on the road than we had hoped.
