About this house rental
Marseillan is one of the oldest villages in France situated on the Etang de Thau and by the famous Canal du Midi. It is only 5km from beautiful sandy Mediterranean beaches, perfect for soaking up the sun and unwinding. Our beautiful port has recently been totally renovated, making it even more enjoyable. The port is a genuine village hub with lovely bars and restaurants that serve the wonderful local oysters & mussels and local wines like the popular Picpoul.
Ideally situated in the heart of this historic village, our three-storey house, previously a wine making house has been tastefully renovated. The house is on three storeys, the ground floor gives access to the laundry facilities, the first floor has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a small TV/reading lounge. The first bedroom with AC has an En-suite bathroom, a king size bed, storage and is located at the front of the house with 2 small balconies and has a sunny aspect. The second bedroom with AC also has a king size bed or twin beds, storage, a private bathroom and is located at the back of the house with morning sun.
There is also a small TV and reading room on the middle floor with a desk and a sofabed. The top floor is an open plan living space with AC with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a lovely comfortable lounge area. The space opens onto a sunny & private roof terrace with a selection of plants and outdoor furniture, the perfect place for relaxing with a glass of wine.
Additional information: If you are coming by car, you won’t be able to park outside the house as the streets in the old village are very narrow, however you will be able to unload your luggage. There are many free and safe car parks only a few minutes walk from the house.

Enjoyed our stay in this spacious modern property which still kept its historic facia in a lovely old street with friendly neighbours.
Parking was easy in two small car parks
close by or in nearby streets. Easy walking access to the centre of the village and the port with its friendly restaurants.

From the moment Patricia warmly greeted us and showed us around her stylish and comfortable home we knew we were going to have a great time. Everything you could possibly want is there. The terrace is a beautiful, quiet suntrap to enjoy and we spent far more time there than expected.
Having visited Marseillan for a day trips on many occasions, we knew we wanted to stay there at some point, and we were not disappointed. Everything you could possibly want or do is a short walk away.
Thank you Patricia.

Splendid Location in nice Town
We have to thank Patrica for the nice time we had in her house, it's charming. Within hours we felt home. The Kitchen is well prepared for all the Cooking you could need during a Vacation. The cosy Terrace is the place to be during slow hours. The Beaches are close by. The Internet connection allows remote work ..., all in all, we spend some of the most relaxing weeks of the past few Years in Marseillian. Thanks for that, Patrica.

Les Jasmins, Marseillan
It is always a pleasure to visit Marseillan one of the oldest villages in France.
On this occasion we stayed at 'Les Jasmins', a restored and beautifully presented 'maison vigneronne' in the historic centre of the village.
The sympathetic restoration of the property includes a wonderful living space with kitchen and large terrace with views of the rooftops and church tower on the top floor with bedrooms on the floor below. The furnishing and fittings are throughout the property are of the highest quality making our stay extremely comfortable and indeed a great pleasure.
Patricia, our host, met us at the property, was both welcoming and friendly ensuring everything we needed was to hand.
If you are visiting Marseillan ensure you put this property at the top of your accommodation list. We highly recommend 'Les Jasmins', it is beautiful, and are sure you'll enjoy meeting Patricia!
Thank you, Lesley and Stuart
