Old World Grace and Modern Convenience
Your breath will catch as you enter. This gorgeous space feels like you’ve stepped into the pages of a design magazine. With exceptional attention to detail, the beautiful restoration blends old world grace and modern convenience. The original heart pine floors gleam, the modern kitchen and bathrooms glow, and the 12-foot ceilings frame it all. To create this perfect blend of old Savannah charm and a modern designer's touch, all of the furnishings and art were sourced locally and thoughtfully in Savannah.
In the foyer is a roll-top desk where you can check email. The gracious and welcoming living room boasts a 12-foot ceiling and an antique Italian chandelier. Every corner of this room is a feast for the eyes. There is a comfortable sofa and chairs, reading lamps, and a 50-inch high definition TV. The living room flows easily into the huge eat-in kitchen with a round farm table at its center. It is a perfect place to gather with friends and family to cook a great meal. We supply coffee (Free Trade Organic), teas, spices and oils to save you time and money.
The library, with its cozy day bed, is tucked off the kitchen and is a great place to slip away to curl up with a book or take a nap. Here you will find another desk as well as our lending library. The laundry room features a full-sized washer and dryer and an iron and board.
The sleeping quarters are down the hallway from the main living area. Each bedroom has its own full bath directly across the hall from it. One bedroom has a comfortable king bed, nightstands, large dresser and a wardrobe. The second has a comfortable queen bed, nightstands, a dresser, and a small wardrobe. Both bathrooms are gorgeously tiled and filled with an assortment of personal care products including a hair dryer. One bath has a full-sized shower and the second has an original cast iron tub and shower. Quality bed linens and towels are provided, along with soaps, shampoo and conditioner. You'll also find a white-noise sound machine in each bedroom. The just-installed heating and cooling system will keep you comfortable no matter what the weather brings.
Reach your private deck through the back of the suite. With a table for six and direct access to the incredible courtyard, this is a perfect place to dine al fresco, enjoy your morning coffee, or sip sweet tea or wine in the afternoon. If you're feeling social, simply step off your deck into the lush tropical oasis that is the shared courtyard.
For your entertainment, enjoy WIFI, cable TV with 70 channels, as well as an Amazon Fire TV Stick featuring Netflix and Amazon Video. For music, you can choose Pandora on the Amazon Fire TV Stick or the Amazon Echo for effortless music streaming. Simply say "Echo, play jazz" (or your favorite selection) and the music will play.
We use Seventh Generation cleaning products and choose fragrance-free whenever possible.
Two Outdoor Living Rooms
Gather with friends on the graceful front porch under the glow of the gas lanterns. Each walk-up porch offers seating for six and recessed lighting adds to a warm glow to the gas lamps.
Delight in the rear courtyard, our crown jewel. This tropical oasis is ideal for morning coffee, afternoon cocktails, dining al fresco, and enjoying the warm Savannah nights in a gently-lit dream garden.
The fenced and secure courtyard is shared by all of the guests of The Suites at Forsyth and was designed to be experienced both communally and privately. The center is a large patio where you can gather with family, friends and meet other guests. If you desire a private experience, then slip into one of the four sheltered spaces that nestle at the periphery of the courtyard. These four ‘rooms’ are tucked into the foliage; each with vintage outdoor chairs and tables. The lovely lighting, lush landscaping, and splashing water from the fountain will make the courtyard your favorite place in Savannah--your ‘outdoor living room’.
All of historic Savannah is literally at your doorstep. Park your car in its private lot and explore the tree-lined streets and gardens of this gorgeous city. Within a few blocks you will find a major grocery store along with restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and more.
Make the most of being so close to Forsyth Park. Shop for veggies each Saturday morning at the Farmer’s Market and also enjoy one or more of the annual events: staging area for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Picnic in the Park, Shalom Y’all Jewish Food Festival, Children’s Book Festival, Greening of the Fountain, Sidewalk Arts Festival, Doggie Carnival, Savannah Jazz Festival, Buddy Walk, Mattress Dash, Savannah Pride Festival and Earth Day as well as the many running events: Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon, Heart of Savannah 5K, Savannah Mile, the Color Run, Publix Savannah Women’s Half and 5K and the Race for Preservation.

I could not say more amazing things about our stay here. SUPER comfy beds, pristine condition of the property, nestled so close to everything, we loved it and didn’t want to leave! If this is available, definitely book it for your stay, I have never loved a stay more!

This place is beautiful, comfortable, and convenient! Beautiful decor, really comfortable beds and all the comforts of home. Convenient bc it's right by Forsyth Park, easy to walk for coffee or food, and sightseeing. Wonderful that we had our own parking spot for when we did drive. We had a great time and would love to make it a tradition to stay there when we visit Savannah. Five stars, for sure!

The Garden Suite was the perfect location for doing all the Savannah sightseeing and getting on the trolley tour. The amenities were exceptional and checking in and out was a breeze. Highly recommend the Garden Suite.

This is a very charming place with a great location next to Forsyth park. Also there is a Kroger very close so it’s easy to get groceries and whatever you need.

This was our first time using VRBO and I have to say that it was the absolute best experience. The property was so cute and charming. My biggest fear when renting a property is the cleanliness and this place blew me away. Extremely clean, and very well kept. The beds were very comfortable too! Janet is so helpful and very responsive! She makes the check in process seamless. Thank you Janet!! We had the best time! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is looking to stay in Savannah. It’s the best location, so close to so much!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was perfect, and the house was well-maintained. The owner was very responsive and helpful throughout the booking process. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. The flat is huge, well decorated and close to town. We would love to rent again in the future!

My husband and I, and two adult daughters spent a wonderful week at the Garden Suite. The apartment was lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed having drinks on the front porch, and dinner on the back deck.
Great location, we walked every where, or took the nearby free bus. The supermarket and beautiful Forsyth Park.(great Saturday morning Farmer's Market) are close by. Janet was very responsive and provided good suggestions for dining and sight seeing.

Property was exactly as advertised. It was a fun piece of Savannah history. Convenient to everything. We went to The Doobie Brothers concert at the new Enmarket Arena. It was just 2 miles from our house. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved the place! The location was perfect and we were able to walk to pretty much anything. If you didn't want to walk you could do the hop on hop off Trolley ride which would give you alot of information of the history of Savannah. I regret not doing that but we didn't mind walking. Also, if you want to go to the Riverwalk (which I suggest you do) you can always catch an Uber ride and it was around $10. Janet was great to deal with as well. We were not disappointed. Will definitely be back.

This was a getaway for myself, my mother and my cousin. In addition to being absolutely stunning throughout, Janet ensured the property was equipped with everything we could possibly need to make our stay as comfortable as possible. My cousin loves to cook and the kitchen had everything needed to make that happen. We felt like we were right at home. The beds were very comfortable with extra blankets if we needed them. Instructions were provided everywhere we looked and were easy to follow. Communication from Janet was always prompt. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful front porch enjoying the weather. We will be sure to stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the Garden Suite Condo. Comfortable beds and everything you need to cook meals and entertain. LOVED the round table in the kitchen. Everyone always ends up in the kitchen and this made it feel so welcoming to do just that! We had SCAD students drop in during the Sidewalk Chalk Festival and it was nice to be able to send them out to the back courtyard for their own little gathering. Forsyth Park is 1/2 block away and we could hear the festivities from the bandstand but we were there for the festival so it felt like we were even more a part of the scene. The park has quiet hours by 9 or 10 so we were able to go right to sleep after a long day. Rarely heard the upstairs neighbors. Slept great all three nights! Thank you Janet for making our stay see less and also for checking in on us. We’ll be back.

Great location, walking distance to Forsyth Park and historic district. Overall, property was very nice. Only the beds, especially the back bedroom, were very uncomfortable. Mattress was old, sagging in the middle, and thus caused a couple of nights of very restless sleep.

Headed to Savannah for a three night stay and scored this wonderful gem purely by accident. I'm over 65, retired, and have traveled quite a bit in my life. I’ve never felt so comfortable or been so happily surprised at the accommodations. This place has it all from how well stocked the home was, to the furnishings, the private courtyard, proximity to Forsythe Park, etc.. On a scale of 1 to 10 it’s a twenty. Stay here. You’ll be delighted you did.

We celebrated the new year & our 40 th wedding anniversary with a trip to lovely & historic Savanna. What a treat.
Our home away from home was perfect. Cozy & clean & had everything we needed in a great location. Our host was responsive & helpful. We look forward to another visit.

My family of 4 loved our stay here. It is just as beautiful as the pictures, AND the furniture is made for living (not just for photos, like some rentals). Plus, the location across from the park and a lovely local coffee shop couldn’t be beat.

The property made us feel like being at home. We absolutely loved the front porch, we sat there every evening.
The location was great to local grocery store and next to the beautiful Forsyth Park. The street was lined with beautiful trees and very quiet.
Thank you Janet for all your help. Would totally recommend this VRBO.
Thanks again Chris and Janet!!
Take care,
Guests from Minnesota!!!

This is a gorgeous home that sits near Forsyth Park, and just a couple blocks from a Kroger. Five of us stayed here and there was room for everyone. It has two bathrooms, two bedrooms (one queen and one king bed), and a bonus little room that has a twin bed in it. That was perfect for me because I snore, so I slept in there. The care, decor and neat items in this home are gorgeous. There were helpful notes and instructions for everything. The doors and locks in and out were a bit tricky, but worked with patience. Communication was easy with Janet…just use the email she provides. It is just a block away from the trolley stop that takes you all around Savannah for a fee (tour or hop on and off, look up online). There is a parking spot that is for this unit. Our flight got in late at night, and when we got there, our dedicated (marked) spot was taken. This caused a bit of stress on where to park, after traveling and being tired. There was a note in the unit that said if this happens, to park temporarily (overnight) in one of the unmarked spots nearer the street, or on the street itself (it was packed and there were confusing street signs, so we parked in an unmarked spot in the house’s lot until morning). The next day that car had moved and our spot was open. There are about 6 steps up to the front porch (be careful on the steps…they are bowed upward in the center a bit and the second to the bottom step is pretty bad, causing my MIL to lose her balance while stepping down and she fell backward, she was bruised but ok, and I twisted my ankle going up on it.). The back deck and sitting areas in the common courtyard were lovely. The house itself was beautiful, and the trolley tour, restaurants, and dolphin sunset cruise with Captain Derek on Tybee Island were great. Unfortunately all five of us agreed that the city itself was a bit disappointing. It had weeds in many of the public areas and squares, neat trees with air plants but no flowers or super pretty areas, not very many pretty houses or mansions, and the city was spread out and not easy to get around without the trolley or a car. We had a nice time, but there was nothing in particular that would draw me or my other family to visit again.
Thank you Janet and company, for sharing this beautiful property with us!

Beautiful property. It was perfect for us. Four adults and a young one. Minutes away from the River. Just chilled out and walked around. Spent one day and shot over to Hilton Head. Piece of cake drive. You should check this place out. :)

Perfect Location
Great property! The location is the best part… you can walk out the front door and Forsyth Park is right across the street. Close to so many great restaurants, grocery store, coffee shops, and beautiful sites. Janet was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed and plenty of information about the area. Would stay here again and again.

A True Gem
This was such a pleasant stay. The apartment itself is amazing. Very well equipped and so lovely decorated. I was sad I could not stay forever.
We found the location perfect as we visited SCAD. 4 minutes to the admissions hall was fantastic. Krogers is super close. All is in walking distance including attractions.
THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING !!!

Perfect location for a visit to Savannah
Property was just as described. Quiet, relaxing, and just the right distance from Historic Savannah. Within walking distance or you can pick up the free trolley on the corner. Janet, the property manager, was a fantastic hostess. Always responsive and helpful with guidance on restaurants and places to see. Definitely will return.

Beautiful place
The place was beautiful and the location amazing. We were able to walk to tourist attractions and to some amazing local places to eat. After a long day we could return to our place and relax on the front porch or beautiful back garden. The host check in on us to make we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home, perfect stay!
Three friends reunited for a trip to Savannah. Loved the property! This is a beautiful home, at the mid eastern edge of Forsyth Square. It comes equipped with everything you need and more. The rear patio is a wonderful place for wine and cheese and the front porch is just perfect for people watching. It is a bit out of the area if you want to walk to lots of activities and restaurants BUT it is a block from the trolley and comes with off-street parking which is a solid gold benefit in Savannah. Recommend this property highly.
