About this house rental
This is one of Estes Park's newer VRBO properties. We purchased this property in July 2015. The property has over 3700 square feet and in addition to a large family room with a fireplace, it has a scrapbooking/craft or conference room with seating for 12.
It is registered with the town of Estes Park's vacation rental program #6092.
You access this property by entering Streamside Cabins at 1260 Fall River Road and going past their office to our private drive.
The home is updated and in great condition.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and attached bath and large walk in closet.
There are three additional bedrooms upstairs with two twin beds in two rooms and a queen bed in the other.
Downstairs has two bedrooms. One bedroom has a king bed while the other bedroom has a queen with twin bunk beds. The downstairs bedrooms have their own bath. There is also a game room with a ping pong table.
The kitchen has a stainless steel double oven, electric cook top and stainless fridge. The dining room is huge and has a banquet table that can sit 12 people comfortably.
There is an indoor hot tub room that can accommodate up to four people out of the elements.
There is a double car garage with a spare refrigerator for your convenience.
There are multiple decks to relax on and even an enclosed front porch/sunroom with fantastic views of lumpy range.
The home is private and backs up to Old Man Mountain which allows plenty of space to hike and explore, just out the back door.
There are too many things to list, but be assured that you will thoroughly enjoy this home and feel right at home upon your arrival.

We had the best time! House was so comfortable and felt like home. The house was very clean and in a great area.
We are hoping to rent this home again for our next trip to Estes. I would highly recommend. Hosts were ver accomadating and answered questions quickly. If I could give them 6 stars, I would!!

The house was very clean and exceeded our expectations. We do a yearly trip to Estes Park and will definitely be considering this location for next year.

Great location: a couple of miles to town and to one of the park entrances. Great house, well maintained and equipped.

This house was perfect for our big family. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The setting is perfect and we had wildlife right outside our window. Our little grandkids were thrilled. We will certainly stay at this house next year when we return for our annual trip.

Big home with a beautiful kitchen and gathering spaces. My family loved our stay!

We took all of our kids and grandkids on this trip and we had a wonderful time. This house was in a perfect location and we saw wildlife everyday at the house. It is very close to the Fall River Entrance to the National Park and we never had a long line to get into the park, unlike our friends who went in the Beaver Meadow entrance(it was backed up really bad). The house was so roomy with lots of space for everyone to enjoy. The deck and sunroom were a huge hit every morning. We loved it and are already talking about booking it next time all of our kids come with us!

We booked this house for a weekend trip with our young children and a few friends. When we arrived, the house was almost completely inaccessible due to snow pileup. We were aware it had snowed a lot the weekend before but it hadn't snowed in the immediate days leading up.
The entrance to the house had knee deep snow accross the entire deck when we arrived for about 10-15 feet before the door. We called the host immediately but they did not answer so I sent a message.
We had a 5 month old, a 2 year old, and a pregnant woman waiting so we ended up walking through the deep snow to get in. It took a while to hear back from the host and the response was that they would try to find someone to do snow removal but no guarentee.
We had more people arriving soon so we ended having to scoop the entrance to the house ourself. By the end of our stay, none of the other outdoor spaces had the snow removed so no one came to do any snow removal and we were unable to utilize the large deck space.
Once we got in, we really enjoyed the indoor space. It was clean and was perfect for our group.
Overall it was just a very frustrating experience and even felt hazardous for us to be carrying young children through that.

This was the best rental home we have ever stayed in! We were in Estes Park for our daughter’s wedding and needed a home that could accommodate our large family. The owners were very kind and accommodating and we appreciated them so much! Not only is the home stunningly beautiful and well maintained, it is in the most picturesque spot! There are views from every window and porches all around! Nestled against the mountain, our teenage grandkids had a blast sledding downhill! The craft room was very useful for us to finish up a couple of our wedding projects, including our daughter making her own wedding cake (she’s a professional baker ❤️). The home was so well stocked with everything you could need, including condiments, spices, and a fully stocked kitchen with every imaginable gadget! The beds were a literal dream and Lots of extra blankets which were needed since we were there during a week with negative temps and lots of snow! We loved every minute of our stay and highly recommend this beautiful home! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much Weston for sharing your lovely home with us!

The hosts are fantastic - the house is well cared for and the hosts are quick to respond to any questions. They even put up a Christmas tree for the season! Our family of 11 enjoyed all of the different spaces in the house, especially the craft room where we had a puzzle, some crafts, and board games going at all times. A flock of wild turkeys delighted us by trotting by multiple times during our stay. The kitchen is well stocked (including two large crock pots, tons of spices, and a supply of Ziploc bags). It was a wonderful house for our large family to gather together and have a white Christmas.

Great place! All 11 of us had an awesome time! Plenty of room for family to gather, plenty of beds and bedrooms. We saw turkeys and deer. The kids got to sled even though it was warm and not much snow. They had plenty of firewood, spices in case you forget yours 😉 We made some great memories and will book again!

We stayed here for our first family winter trip and were very pleased. The house is large and great for our group of 10. Everyone had their own room and there’s plenty of space to spread out in the common areas.
What impressed us the most is how stocked the house is….hot tub, games, movies, plenty of firewood, shampoo/conditioner/soap in all bathrooms, and even everything to wash laundry. Most rentals have leftover kitchen items but this house had much more including coffee!
We got snowed in one day and they even have snow toys for the kids, the hill behind and in front of the house made for good sledding.
The hosts were very accommodating due to our later departing flight and very quick to respond to emails. It’s in a really good location, and so close to town that some of us walked into town.

This house was absolutely perfect. Every single thing. The space, the things provided, the beautiful scenery, the allowing of gatherings, the secluded area, the quietness outside/not super close neighbors, the hot tub, the large property, plenty of extra blankets. We got married in Boulder and took our wedding photos in the back yard of this property and it was spectacular. We had plenty of space to host our friends and family and share many meals together. We will definitely be back in the future.

This was a perfect spot for our family reunion 5 years after our parents passed. Beautiful quiet property with plenty of room to spread out and have different groups doing their own things but close enough to regroup as a community for dinners and crafts or games. Very well appointed with just about everything you could need from spices, coffee, kitchen gadgets etc. we saw elk turkeys and bird watched and shared healing memories.

This place had everything you can imagine and then some. They had a pack n play and highchair for little ones and box fan’s in every room which is a must for my family. Great private location with no through traffic, and best of all, huge windows and balconies to watch the turkey’s play and elk grazing out the back door. We had an amazing time and are all in for another stay at this property.

We attended a wedding and the house was close to the bridal party. It’s also walking distance to the downtown area.

This house was absolutely perfect for our needs. The owner could not have been more accommodating and helpful...way beyond what I would have even hoped for. If I could give the experience more than 5 stars, there would be infinitely more! The home made my daughter's wedding experience in Estes Park exactly what she/we dreamed of!

Rented this property for a business team outing for a few days. The house is well maintained and was just what we needed. Plenty of space to spread out, but also gather for dinner and meetings. The owners, Weston and Kristin, are super communicative and made sure the stay was as smooth as possible.
Highly recommend this property for larger groups/families!

We are a family that met in Estes Park for a 70th birthday and 50th anniversary celebration trip. The location of this home is absolutely fantastic.
#1- It is a couple miles from the entrance to RMNP, and this specific entrance is less traveled than Beaver Meadows; entrance line is much shorter.
#2 - There is a nearby stream for our fishermen
#3 - It is tucked away enough you feel secluded yet it is a five minute drive to town
#4 - Everything we needed for 5 nights was in the home including for fixing most of our meals, fans because in August it was warm, humidifiers, an air mattress, games, and surprise ping pong table.
#5 - The conference room was a major plus and sat all of us for our little family celebrations
Lastly, we were leery because the pictures of the home don’t do it justice. It was better than we anticipated. Please update your photos! It is very well built and the rooms flow nicely. It does have many stairs and no bedrooms on the main level for our older generation, but it is the mountains and to be expected.
We own a nightly rental in another city and really enjoyed this affordable, clean home. We will return! Again update your photos and highlight how great it is!

Our large family group loved this house! It was so convenient to RMNP, had beautiful views and deck space, and tons of room for us all to spread out. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and is very well equipped. We would absolutely stay here again!

This house is in a gorgeous setting and is very well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed, and there was plenty of room to be together. The location is ideal as it is very close to one of the Rocky Mountain National Park entrances as well as to the cute downtown area of Estes Park. We enjoyed staying at this property.

Loved the spaciousness of the property and location was perfect. Close enough to everything, but away from the congestion of traffic. Plenty of supplies in kitchen and loved the hot tub! Hiked the hill right outside the property. Close to Rocky mtn National park. Would stay here again for sure!

This home was perfect for our family’s stay in Estes Park! Very clean, lots of space for the whole family, the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. We loved the location! Secluded and quiet, yet very close to town and the National Park. Enjoyed viewing wildlife from the yard and house. I definitely recommend Estes Retreat!!

This property was amazing, lots of room, plenty of space for activities and everything we needed to be comfortable. We saw a bear, lots of elk, turkeys, marmot and plenty of birds right out the windows. We didn’t want to leave.

This place was perfect for 3 generations staying together. Convenient (we walked to downtown Estes Park several times) and to Rocky Mountain National Park. Lots of room to spread out and yet all were able to dine at the same table. All purpose room and hot tub were both used. Wildlife wandering through the yard added to the experience! Very enjoyable.

This was the perfect getaway for our girls weekend. The rooms were spacious with plenty of beds. Large kitchen area was ideal for seating. Even the game/craft room was super fun for activities. The BEST part was the wood burning fireplace and gathering around it at night. Would recommend again!

Spacious, clean and well located property. Only drawback is the check in and check out times. Cant checkin before 4 and have to be out by 10AM after doing 2 loads of required laundry. That made it an investment of $2000 for a single full day. That is a problem. This is not a hotel room stay, it is a retreat offering. I would suggest checkins as early as 2 and check outs as late as 12. At these prices it is not a respectable request to have your guests do maid service. Expectations of cleanliness and responsibility are fine, but actual jobs that clearly belong to the business isn't reasonable.

Good cabin space, lots of amenities and plenty of room. Kitchen, bathrooms, etc. were all well-stocked and all instructions were clearly established in the listing. Several guests mentioned difficulty with air quality while trying to sleep in particular; humidifiers helped but they may have benefited from some HEPA filters in the bedrooms as well. Main entrance steps were a bit icy, and we had to break it up and shovel it out ourselves to the best of our ability to minimize injury risk. Parking felt a bit restrictive and it seemed like there could have been space for at least 2-3 more cars, but nearby free public parking lot alleviated potential issues. All in all a mostly positive experience for a weekend stay.

Our book club booked this house for our annual weekend retreat and it was prefect for us! There was plenty of space for all 11 of us and it was really great to have so many twin beds (we usually end up bunking together)! The kitchen was really well appointed and the extra long dining table was great! Our only complaint was not having a sufficient amount of extra towels for the hot tub (pretty minor, all things considered).

We loved the fact that we could walk to town from the house and get to Fall River Road easily. It was a lovely space to gather our multigenerational family.

We loved our stay at this house. There was so much room for all and the kitchen was so well stocked - just like stepping into my own kitchen. Everything in this house was in beautiful condition and room for us all to spread out. This house was furnished beautifully. We all felt so much at home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. There were six couples in our group 70 and older and the house was perfect for that. Many different areas to hang out. the house was very clean and well stocked with everything you would need. We didn't grill, but there was even an extra propane tank on the deck next to the grill , which is a nice consideration.
A great place for families or a group of friends.
