We enjoyed the location! it's just great.
The hotel is quite massive and there is a lack of elevators

Breakfast, staff, location and the calmness

We had an amazing sea view room with a nice balcony with spectacular blue ocean and breeze at night. Breakfast was sumptuous and delicious and so was the dinner. So many food options, which was both delicious and fresh with different daily buffet options.
There is one a-la-carte restaurant which however needed to be booked and could only be visited once per stay. We managed to get the booking and the dinner was fabulous, food delicious, proper silver service fine dining. We had a kid with us and since it was fine dining there was not much for him to chose from. The headwaiters was really nice to allow the kid to bring the food from the buffet restaurant and eat with us at the same table so we could enjoy our fine dining experience. This was very nice and we were very grateful.
The pool was a disappointment, it was mainly for the kids. Small and water is not heated. Not sure it was sea water like the description says as we never took a swim, as the water was cold.
One major disappointment was the fact that beach sun loungers weren't of the hotel, and we were asked to pay for the sun beds and umbrella. We were totally confident that beachfront hotel would have its own part of the beach with sun beds for the guests, so beware, you have to pay to stay by the beach unless you just stay on the sand.
There is no spa or kids club or any kids entertainment, but that's just a side note, not much of a disappointment.

Location is exceptional, that beach is great, staff very friendly, and incredible food.
We stayed for 5 days in which we had 6 nasty visitors...brown, 6 legged HUGE cockroaches!
4.5
Very well located newly renovated hotel. Calm vibe and beautiful views. Friendly staff.
The menu in the restaurant could highlight more local cuisine and products.

Extremely nice staff, good facilities and access directly to the beach. The place is maintained superbly.

Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and good service.
Getting around the Hotel involves lots of ups and downs and takes some getting used to. Luckily we had a room with easy access to the Beach.

location
very racist and disrespectful staff, we had a room with sea view but they gave us a room in the ground floor and the windows were covered with palm trees so we didn’t have any view.
In addition to that there were cockroaches in the bathroom and after complaining they said they came from the outside but we never left the windows open.
On the second day of our stay in the afternoon one of the staff just opened the door and came in while I was lying on the bed naked for no reason and then apologized and ran away!!!
All of these aside this hotel doesn’t worth the money and it doesn’t deserve 5 stars because it only has one small pool, the spa is always closed and the food is tasteless and repetitive everyday.
4.5
Can’t fault the place, it was fabulous. staff very attentive and polite, very clean, gorgeous view.
wasn’t the cheapest especially since the size is quite big as well. So not one for regular splurges. considering the price, the safe should have been included

- distance to the beach
- lovely restaurants on a walking distance (+/- 10 minutes);
- modern interior. It was renovated recently.
- daily live music in the evening
- the breakfast was very good. Lots of options and fresh fruit and warm cooked meals/items
- no private parking. you need to be lucky to find a parking spot in public/nearby;
- we did not receive the room we’ve booked initially (room with a sea view). The reception assured us on the phone during the first day that it was the right room. However, after another complaint the next morning at the reception they admitted the sea view room was overbooked. We finally got the sea view room at noon on the second day. So make sure to confirm the room at arrival. As a compensation for the hassle they’ve offered free dinner.
- lots of stairs because the hotel is built on a hill. Therefore this hotel is less suitable for people that are less mobile.

A beautiful, idyllic hotel. Clean, comforting and welcoming with lovely staff. Very modern and spacious. A stunning view of an unbelievable beach! Pool area clean and very good service overall!
Nothing!!

beautiful hotel with absolutely amazing views, very very clean, super bedrooms and the bathroom was huge, sea view rooms a must, lovely friendly staff, breakfast was nice plenty of choice
the pool is very small, and only 1 pool for a 5 star hotel. Dinner was just OK...plenty for fish eaters and vegetarians, not so much for meat eaters, the meat that was on offer was very poor

This was the best holiday hotel ever for us. Everything was perfect: the spacious and comfortable room with perfect sea view, the food (so much choice of food, the dinner buffet was different on a daily basis and with very good quality of products), the fast and impeccable service, the location actually on the beach with all water sports activities thereby, and the people working in the hotel that were amazing.
Nothing to mention.

The best location of any hotel, up on the hill right next to the beach with a beautiful view over the massive beach from the rooms and poll area. The breakfast was very nice and very well diverse and great service. The pool doesn't rise at the hotel level but it's fine, everything else was great.
- the housemaid was coming very early in the morning knocking and coming in without expecting an answer asking about if the minibar was full.
- SPA schedule was way to short, closing at 18
- Fee for the safe box from the room

It’s situated right in front of the beach with direct access by escalators.
Room was very spacious with beautiful views of the beach and sea.
breakfast spread was amazing with good variation of continental, American and Spanish options (loved the churros!)
Not a deal breaker, just a comparison with other resorts, but but we had to pay to use the parasols/umbrellas by the beach.
The bed blankets were a bit thin, just felt like cloth rather than blankets.

Spacious Rooms
Excellent service
Very good restaurant
The hotel is definetely not a 5 stars.
The entrance is hidden and very modest and you park your car in the street.
There rooms are dispersed in a labyrinth of stairs and it is easily to get lost.
The gym is small and lack even yoga mattress
The swimming pool is suffocated under the rooms
The restaurant has limited see view
They ask you for money for the safe box which is for free in almost every hotel nowadays
There were no doors in the bathroom and it was in front of the bed. If you want to get up early and do not disturb your partner it is impossible. Likewise if you are shy there is no privacy when you have a shower.
4.5
Comfort of room, location and friendliness of staff.
Slightly hard mattress but down to personal preference!

It was very clean, beautiful location and massive rooms. Lovely double sink with ring light and massive walk in shower.
I left a bag with jackets and headphones in the room. I was staying elsewhere and called 3 times- they said they would get back to me each time but didnt.

We had a fantastic stay here , the Hotel was excellent and in a superb location directly onto the main beach and only a short walk from the old town.
Everything was immaculately clean and all of the staff were so pleasant, welcoming and helpful this really made our holiday.
We were only staying on a Bed and Breakfast basis but the breakfast were superb and well managed , we did have several lunches in the pool bar and they were also excellent.
4.5
1. We enjoyed all of the meals (breakfast and dinner ), throughout our stay. Food was good quality, hot, tasty, plenty of variety, the team of chefs did a very good job during our stay. We particularly enjoyed the variety of fish, vegetables, cheese at dinner and fruit at breakfast. We particularly enjoyed the beef and duck at dinner, and the prunes and papaya at breakfast.
2. Staff who cleaned our room were excellent, they were courteous, quick and thorough.
3. Hotel location is up there with the best
4. The Krystal restaurant was excellent, both food and service!
5. Pool was warm and big enough to never really feel busy
6. We had a great view, and morning Sun, from our balcony
7. Always hot water in the shower, and very comfortable bed
8. Definitely a lot more to like than dislike
1. When the restaurant was busy at breakfast, water in the the hot water boiler was often only tepid (which was no good for brewing a pot of tea ). Staff do not seem to appreciate that we wanted very hot water for tea.
2. Coffee served in flasks at breakfast, was awful
3. Night time entertainment not to our taste, and noisy EVERY night (but only until around 10 pm )
4. Did not like the music played at the poolside bar at lunchtime. The patrons were inevitably older guests, yet the music was teenage disco music. We both really enjoy music, and have an eclectic musical taste, but I wouldn't put any of the lunchtime music on my Spotify playlists.
