Beautiful Casa Bella is located just four blocks from Parque Central in Antigua and only two blocks from the main artisans and food markets. The house sits in a gated/guarded community and is only 15 years old. The colonial style, lovely antiques and fun art work add to the charm of this unique house, which includes all the conveniences of home.
The two large bedrooms upstairs share a spacious master bathroom with shower and tub. The master bedroom has a queen bed, large walk-in closet and front and back patios. The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be made into a king. It also has a beautiful view of the volcanoes, one of which is active and can often be seen burping out smoke. (see the 2nd video!)
The bedrooms open on to a covered patio and large rooftop patio. Enjoy the garden below, the potted plants & porch swing, while gazing at the magnificent and ever-changing sky around Volcan Agua to the south. This view is stunning!
The two downstairs bedrooms have the same bed configurations as the two upstairs, except they each have their own bathrooms with walk-in showers. These bedrooms share access to a beautiful back garden and a lush central garden with a pila fountain.
All bedding is 100% cotton. Each bed is provided with a light and fluffy natural down comforter.
Garden and hanging plants surround the patios along with tasteful art and colonial antiques. The indoor-outdoor living is easy to get accustomed to, as the mild year round temperatures invite the visitor into the fresh sun shining air. There are cozy couches on the patio and table and chairs, making it easy to transition from indoors to outdoor living.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a small colonial dining table for four. There is a large dining room (table seats eight) and living room with couches and seating designed for relaxation. The style is elegant, yet Casa Bella still has a down home comfort feel. It is imbued with an atmosphere of color, light, openness, and beauty. This is a truly wonderful house to escape to!
The housekeeper cares for Casa Bella Monday-Friday: makes the beds, cleans the bathrooms and maintains the casa. Her devoted attention to the tile floors keeps them fresh and looking like works of art! The house is also child-friendly, with baby changing tables, baby gates, and high chairs.
The water is solar heated and plentiful.

Casa Bella is beautiful, will well tended gardens, fabulous art displayed around every corner. All guests reported their beds were comfortable as were all the sitting areas. The kitchen was fully stocked. There were even games and some books available for use while there. The location was walking distance to downtown Antigua. The housekeeper is a lovely person, as is the driver Robin recommended. We'd love to come back some day.

I spent a month living in this wonderful home. From the artwork to the garden, the house is clearly a labor of love for the owner. Robin was helpful and quick to reply throughout the process from reservation to checkout. Keila went above and beyond as cleaner, cook, and general source of local knowledge. She even procured a pair of crutches for one of my students who sprained an ankle. Thank-you Robin for making my family feel at home in your home.

Second time staying in Casa Bella and can't wait to stay again! I can't say enough good things about this home. It's beautiful, location is perfect and Robin is the most gracious host! This home feels like home. Two vases of colorful fresh roses greeted us! Keila was great, kept the house spotless and was never in our way. We absolutely love staying at Casa Bella!!!

I’ve visited Antigua many times and this time was like coming home.
The house is located on the edge of central Antigua, walking distance to the Mercado and pretty much everywhere else. The community complex is secure with 24 hour security. Our host provides much more than any other rental property I have visited throughout my journeys. The kitchen, the bathrooms were all fully equipped. Did I mention the housekeeper? Keila was the icing on the cake. Sweet, efficient, and boy can she cook! She would also shop for us if we asked.
In summary… I can’t wait to return to visit and stay at this beautiful home again.

My wife and I had a memorable, fantastic one month stay at Casa Bella and were joined by family for a few days. The house is wonderful and built in the traditional, Colonial style. Everything was fantastic, super-clean, comfortable and lovely. Multiple beautiful well-maintained courtyard/garden/terraces as well! The house is decorated with a beautiful collection of Guatemalan art and antiques. Everything is thoughtfully arranged for the comfort and needs of the guests including having a collection of interesting books, DVDs and games. The Wifi/internet is fast and we enjoyed streaming services via the Amazon Firestick on the living room TV. The kitchen is extremely well equipped.
The housekeeper, Keila, is fantastic. We paid her extra and she cooked many delicious meals - she is a wonderful cook. So much so, that we preferred to eat in the house rather than go out to restaurants.
We utilized the services of the driver, Ruben, many times including for travel to and from the airport, tours of neighboring villages and a day at the beach - Ruben is great, very reliable and speaks fluent English.
Communication with the owner was always quick and helpful. We especially enjoyed the location of the house as it is easy walking distance from everything in Antigua. Having the extra security of a gated community is great as well. We give the house, Keila and Ruben our highest recommendation and look forward to spending more time there.

We spent a good week here at Casa Bella. We were joined by friends. The plan was for 7 people but we were only 4. The house would easily have housed 8 people and with ample space and many seatings. We have rented many houses in Antigua over many years.
This house and it's accommodations were above expectations. The kitchen was very well stocked and it's a stunningly beautiful home. Kelia, the house keeper was wonderful accommodating and helpful in all ways. We hope to return!

Casa Bella is a lovely house . It is spacious with incredible views. Virginia the caretaker could not have been more helpful. She was tremendous. We could not have been more comfortable.

Robin's home was a thorough delight. Beautiful, charming, well maintained, conveniently located, safe. It's in a gated community, so you have security (friendly guards) and also the ability to park a car near the house.
The view of Volcan Agua from the terrace is stunning, and you can walk up to the upper terrace to check on Volcans Fuego and Acatenango.
We were two couples with various friends who came in for weekends, and there was lots of room for seven people to spread out.
Communication with Robin was rapid and very pleasant.
Housekeeper Virginia (~5 days/week) kept the place spotless and helped us with initial grocery shopping. The sweet gardener (Mon-Wedn-Fri) keeps the terrace and courtyard gardens in great shape. Driver Ruben helped us on many occasions with airport transfers.
We would definitely come back.

Robin was outstanding as a host!!! The house was more than fully furnished and gorgeous. Better than pics with art everywhere. The views were incredible from the upper floors.

Casa Bella is the perfect name for this absolutely beautiful house & even better than pictures show! The room not shown much, the living room, has 2 comfy couches, a wall of bookshelves & a rocking chair. There's the most beautiful set of stained glass windows with a cushioned bench below to sit & relax. Plenty of room for our team meetings each morning. The 2 bedrooms upstairs have a Jack & Jill bath which worked perfect for us. I've stayed in Antigua many times but this house was by far the biggest & best; screens on the courtyard doors that close after you walk through them & more flowers than I've ever seen! Fully stocked kitchen! Virginia was great & gardener didn't get in our way at all. Views from the 2 upper levels are breathtaking! We loved the swings on the lower & upper patios & plenty places to sit & enjoy the sounds of the fountain & birds. Perfectly located, just two blocks to the craft market! I only wish we had more time to have spent in the house but duty called - maybe next time Robin!

Amazing!
My husband is from Antigua so we were bringing my family there to meet his family. We needed a big enough place to stay and this was perfect! The house was beautiful with amazing views! Always clean, safe area. And close enough to everything you want to do in Antigua. Robin gave great detailed information about the house and responded quickly with any questions.
I would highly recommend this house to anyone!

BETTER THAN THE PHOTOS
Wow! What a wonderful property and location. I honestly can say the photos on VRBO do not do justice to this property- it is spectacular. It feels like living in a museum, but also very homey. Virginia was phenomenal and very kind and friendly. Hire her to cook for you one or more meals, you won’t regret it. We were 5 adults and everyone enjoyed their privacy with the many rooms and en-suites, very spacious and lots of wonderful outdoor space. LOVED IT AND WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK.

Amazing House
We spent two weeks in this amazing house (3 adults). It is in a great location, within easy walking distance to the central square, restaurants, and all the attractions within Antigua. The house is located within a secure gated community in a quiet residential neighborhood; however, it is also very near to both the local marketplace and a supermarket for convenience.
I would say the house is even more beautiful than the posted pictures and it was kept very clean. Robbin maintains the house as if she were living in it every day herself. The décor is very beautiful and tasteful, and the atmosphere is one that could only be achieved by a person who loves beauty and is an artist at heart. The open courtyard with beautiful gardens allows access to the outdoors while maintaining privacy, and the container plants on the second floor create a tranquil place to relax. The views of the volcanos from the upper floor are outstanding. The bedrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. We also really appreciated the large and functional kitchen because we bought fresh vegetables and meat at the nearby markets and cooked many enjoyable meals ourselves. The assortment of fruits and vegetables grown locally is just amazing.
We felt very safe in the gated community and throughout the entire city. I have rented many houses around the world I can definitely say this one exceeded our high expectations!

Family reunion
Our family need a place to stay where we could host my father-in-law who lives in Guatemala and other in-laws from the U.S. The house worked out perfectly and was very comfortable for us to spread out in the various rooms and two levels. Virginia provided terrfic house cleaning and cooking. The garden is spectacular. Robin, the owner, was very helpful and always responsive to my questions. The house was a great location being close to town and an easy walking distance to the center of town. At the same time, it was located in a very quiet area which is unusual for Guatemala. Our experience was perfect and I highly recommend a stay in Casa Bella.

Amazing home, location and staff!
We spent 6 weeks in this amazing home. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and fit perfectly. The location is close enough to walk anywhere in Antigua but just far enough away to not be as loud. It is in a guarded subdivision and we never had any worries about security. The owner referred us to her driver and we used the Virginia and Maricruz as cooks. The food and care was amazing, clean, safe and delicious. Internet was fast enough to run zoom meetings without and issues. 5 stars all the way!

Absolutely top notch home!
We are frequent Guatemala visitors with two small children. We typically stay for months at a time. In the years we’ve been coming to Antigua this has, by far, been the most beautiful home with an excellent experience to match! Thank you- we will be back!

Highly Recommend this Rental!
We spent a week in this house. It is in a great location, in walking distance to central square and all the sites. It is also near both the amazing marketplace and a supermarket for convenience. The house is as beautiful as the posted pictures and it was kept sparking clean. The open courtyard with beautiful gardens allows access to the outdoors while maintaining privacy. We really appreciated the large and very functional kitchen because we bought fresh vegetables and meat at the marketplace and cooked most of our meals. The assortment of fruits and vegetables grown locally is just amazing. Robin provided a great guide and information for the house and the local sites and restaurants. (We loved Hector's!). Spent a day at the Santa Teresita Spa with thermal pools and massages - also highly recommended! We felt very safe in the gated community and actually throughout the entire city. This rental exceeded our expectations!

Something out of a dream!
There is truly no way we could express in 2500 characters our satisfaction with Robin’s home and hospitality.
Our family of nine enjoyed three full months in Antigua and Robin’s house was a perfect refuge after traveling, language school and adventuring throughout Guatemala.
Bedrooms: We all slept very comfortably in the four beautifully decorated bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The screens on the windows and doors made for a very comfortable climate in each room. There was ample closet space as well.
Bathrooms: Hot water! Beautiful showers and even a soaking tub in the upstairs shared bathroom. Wonderful tile throughout.
Kitchen: Every appliance and kitchen utensil you could ever want or need. We had so much fun cooking each day and eating breakfast at the small kitchen breakfast table. The dining room was perfect for our large family and even additional people for a thanksgiving feast.
Outdoors: The gardens and the terrazas were absolutely breathtaking, perfect for morning coffee and reading. Views of the volcanoes and the surrounding hills were ideal for contemplation and relaxation.
Staff: Virginia and Carlos were the added bonus for out time in Antigua. Their attention to service and constant smiles made us feel comfortable and welcome. They not only helped keep the house in order, they had great advice for us to enjoy every moment of our time there. They embodied Guatemalan hospitality.
The neighborhood: During our stay, we never felt unsafe or in danger. The neighborhood is guarded 24 hours a day. The men at the gate were always friendly and protective of our children. We witnessed on a few occasions visitors stopped at the gate before getting clearance to enter. The grounds were well maintained and the neighbors were friendly.
Overall, this house is something out of a dream. You will not be disappointed. It is better than the pictures even show. Robin is the best owner that we have ever interacted with on VRBO. Look no further for your Antigua vacation home!

Robin's home is the perfect place to stay to enjoy all that Antigua and Guatemala have to offer. Inside and out, it is comfortable, inviting, clean, well-appointed, and safe. Her staff is amazing and helpful. Everything about this house exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to go back.

My guests were sad to leave. And I can't wait to go back!
If you want safety, security, quiet, beauty and views amidst luxury in a perfect location, choose Casa Bella!
The minute I came through the front security gate into the compound, I knew that Casa Bella was going to be exceptional in every way. From the chaos of the city streets, I found a sense of serenity and calmness in the surrounding beauty of the homes. As I stepped through the front door of the house, the inner garden greeted me with lush plantings and flowers of every color. The red hibiscus blooms were the size of dinner plates. The kitchen was welcoming, well-equipped, functional and kept sparkling clean by the housekeeper. The living areas were spotless and comfortable. The two ground level bedrooms had private baths with walk-in showers and shared a small garden. One of my guests had limited mobility and was well accommodated. The two large upper bedrooms shared a lavish bathroom and many amenities. They opened onto a huge terrace with 360-degree views of volcanoes and the old city. A spiral staircase led to another terrace with the highest views in the neighborhood. (We enjoyed many hours on these garden terraces watching sunrises, sunsets, full moons, volcanoes and shooting stars.)
Casa Bella is actually a living museum of Guatemalan art. There are collections of paintings, sculptures and textiles throughout the property that thrill they eye and speak of the local people and their customs.
The listing description and the virtual tour were accurate. The owner provided useful information about the workings of the house. Also strategic suggestions to help make our trip enjoyable. She gave tips that aren't found in guide books and stayed in touch. She anticipated our every need, including two house mobile phones. There were no bad surprises, only happy experiences. The driver/guide she suggested was a jewel. He negotiated the city traffic and mountain roads with skill.
One of my guests asked me to mention Meson Panza Verde for a special dinner. I suggest a trip up to Tenedor del Cerro for Sunday brunch for the views, food, art and people watching. All five of us agreed that the trip to Lake Atitlan was the highlight of the trip.

Very spacious and well maintained. Close to town and shopping. Full time security. House keeper was very helpful and even cooked and shopped for us when we asked. Outdoor crafts market is only a few blocks away. Town center has changed since my last visit 8 years ago, many more shops and variety of excellent cafes and restaurants at reasonable prices. Very quaint, cobblestone streets and a classic town square with a fountain surrounded by benches to sit and watch the world go by.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!
My family and I (husband, teenage son, and 65 year-old mom) stayed at this beautiful home in Antigua for a week and everything was absolutely perfect! The home is very clean, spacious, well organized, and decorated to perfection with special attention to every detail. Wherever I sat in the home, I enjoyed seeing how every photo, knick knack, furniture, etc., had a purpose and flowed so beautifully with the decoration theme of the entire house. The inside garden is lush and was in full bloom during our stay. I enjoyed waking up early to the tranquil sounds of birds flying around the gardens as we drank our coffee. Julio, the gardener, does an excellent job keeping the garden looking its best. The home also includes a wonderful housekeeper, Virginia, who is excellent. Our days were busy seeing the sights, so it was always nice to return at the end of the day to a clean home. Virginia also offers separate cooking services ~ She is a GREAT cook! The home is located within a gated community surrounded by lovely landscape and brick roads. Everything is within walking distance. There is a lot to see in Antigua. Hotel Santo Domingo is a must see. We have rented about ten vacation homes in the last several years, but Casa Bella has been the nicest of all the homes we've ever rented, hands down. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Antigua. We will certainly stay at Casa Bella again on our next visit to Antigua.

QUIET RESPITE in ANTIGUA
My husband and I used this beautiful home as a base the week before our daughter's wedding in Antiqua. We had a busy week of activities prior to the wedding. We were there basically to sleep and organize gift baskets. We had guests arrive for three of the nights and they enjoyed the place too. Although, we weren't relaxing in this home, it would be perfect place to enjoy the lovely surroundings. The kitchen was the most equipped of any vacation rental we have ever stayed in. The owner provided a nice handbook and it was obvious she had spent a lot of effort on this. Owner wants to ensure that your every question is answered. We paid the housekeeper in advance of our stay to procure some fresh seafood from the seller who come to the complex every Monday. So, when we arrived late on Monday night, we had a delicious meal prepared. The table was nicely set too. It is very safe location and everything was within walking distance. The home has lots of interesting artwork, comfortable furnishings and a beautiful garden area. You can see the three volcanos from the rooftop terrace which form a lovely backdrop. The owner has a wonderful contact of a capable and pleasant driver that speaks english. You won't be disappointed if you rent this home. When I come back the next time I hope to relax and enjoy the surroundings.....

Perfect
My family and I stayed for a week at Casa Bella in Antigua. The house is immaculately kept with beautiful gardens throughout and so much natural light. We were a family of four and had more than enough room to lounge together as well as privately. The rooftop deck off the master suite is the perfect setting for a full view of the agua volcano with your morning coffee.
I would highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone wanting to stay within walking distance to town who is looking for a home away from home. It is in a secure gated community near the artists markets, restaurants and more.
Our only issue was having to leave. :)

Our wonderful experience
9 of us friends and family stayed in Casa Bella for two weeks. It far exceeded expectations. The place is so charming with wonderful artwork everywhere. Lots of outdoor space with upstairs patio and downstairs courtyard. The kitchen was fully equipped and the high quality of construction made for an impeccably, well functioning house. The location is ideal, in central Antiqua yet in a private complex that's safe and quiet. And the maid that comes with the deal is really sweet and responsive. This was a hell of a deal for the modest price. If you choose to just hangout at the house, its still worth the trip to Antigua!

Best place to stay in Antigua!
We had an absolutely perfect time at Casa Bella. Honestly, it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The house is so incredibly comfortable and beautifully decorated. It is just a few blocks to the market, and we cooked most of our meals in the well-stocked kitchen. I can't wait to go back to Antigua, and don't want to stay anywhere but Casa Bella!

wonderful vacation
Casa Bella is a beautiful home with everything a visitor to Antigua might need. We stayed there one month with 3 teenage grandchildren who really appreciated the home, the maid service and the location. The owner is extremely helpful and easy to deal with. We don't think there is a better rental in Antiqua.

Perfect Home From Which to Enjoy Antigua
My family (husband, three small children) spent three months at this lovely house and enjoyed every day of it. From the day we arrived we felt at home - the decor is so lovely and the house so well appointed - and we were sorry to leave on the last day. We felt it was the perfect location from which to walk into the central part of town, but just far enough to not be disturbed by the late night revelers or occasional festivities that can get loud right around the park.
We felt we had a fairly good sense of what we'd be walking into from the listing description and photos. But I feel the house is more lovely in person, and some aspects are difficult to capture in pictures. The view of the volcano from upstairs is spectacular. The kitchen is spacious and bright. The living area is perfect for hosting others or a quiet night at home. The bedrooms are big and comfortable. We had many friends from Antigua visit during our stay, and all of them noted how beautiful the house was and that it was the nicest vacation rental they'd seen in town.
Virginia, the housekeeper, keeps the house sparkling clean and is also able to answer all sort of questions about the city and help in many ways. She's friendly and helpful and was great with our small children.
Robin was very easy to work with and quick to address any issue we had (there weren't many even for a 3 1/2 month stay). I would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting Antigua.

A comfortable and beautiful home away from home
We stayed in this home for a month with our 2 daughters (age 8 and 6) and with another family of 4 with kids age 7 and 5. We had a wonderful time. We were so impressed with the shopping, site seeing, dining, and learning opportunities in Antigua, and especially impressed with how friendly the people are. We felt comfortable and safe at the Casa Bella home. We had a lot of help from the housekeeper Virginia and Ruben (the driver that Robin recommended). The home has all the amenities you would need (cooking supplies, movies, dinner party supplies, reliable wifi) and is conveniently located on one edge of Antigua. You are a couple blocks from the where you can find tuk tuks and buses, 4 blocks from the center of town, and a 5 minute walk to the grocery store.

The home is lovely and well equipped. The location is also great just a few short blocks away from all the activity. We felt very safe in the small development too. We would definitely stay here again. Robin is wonderful to work with too.

Bellissima Casa Bella
What a better way to share our love of Antigua with family and friends than to have our wedding there?! Much to our surprise, we soon had 19 people joining us for our special day -- and needed to find a place for several of our guests to stay. Luck was on my side when I happened upon Casa Bella on VRBO!
One never knows what to expect from online photos, but as soon as we walked in the doorway of Casa Bella, we felt like we were home. The house is incredibly warm, tastefully decorated and just enough out of the center of town to be quiet, yet safe.
Robin was very accommodating and helped us coordinate a catered dinner upon our arrival, as well as transportation for some of our guests who arrived early. Virginia kept the house spotless, the laundry done -- and was a wonderful Spanish tutor for my new father-in-law.
We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful place to stay and can't wait to return!
