Two-Bedroom Beach Condo. Walk out your door onto the boardwalk and to the ocean at Sea Spray Condominiums at Atlantic Beach, NC.

Sea Spray Condominiums are older but well maintained and updated. There is no elevator.

Enjoy this second floor, ocean side condo (205 Sea Spray, East Building) with two bedrooms, two baths, washer/dryer in the unit, and balcony with ocean and sound views and chairs. Fully equipped kitchen includes fridge with icemaker, modern electric range, oven, microwave, dishwasher, drip coffeemaker, toaster oven, blender, cooking utensils, silverware, and tableware. There is a dining table and bar area.

The bedrooms each have queen-sized beds, and there is a pull-out full sized sofa in the living room, and a rollaway bed. The living area has a flat-screen TV with cable box, and each bedroom has a flat-screen TV which streams using the Spectrum app, and DVD players.

There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and kitchen, a reliable HVAC system, two comfortable chairs and a sofa in the living room. There are hair dryers in each bathroom, a clothes iron, and vacuum cleaner. The internet connection is high speed and free. No elevator in the building.

Outside amenities include a pool with poolside chairs, kiddie pool, outside grills in the grassy courtyard, and –of course—the ocean beach. Linens are available for $30. The cleaning fee is included in the rental amount.

You must be at least 25 years of age to rent, no pets, and no smoking inside the unit or in the building; limit of 6 persons.

Saturday to Saturday occupancy only during the High Season which includes most of the summer. There is a two-night minimum at other times of the year. No Sunday check-ins, but Sunday check-out is fine.

Sea Spray Condominiums are at the Fort Macon end of Atlantic Beach, NC. When you walk out of the building into the courtyard, it is a short walk to the beach on the private boardwalk.

Area attractions include relaxing on the beach, scuba diving, surfing, fishing (there is a pier nearby), surf fishing, charter fishing trips, boating, kayaking, boat cruises out of Beaufort or Morehead City, Crystal Coast historic homes land tours, air tours by plane or helicopter, Crystal Coast Country Club, ghost walk in Beaufort, ferry trip to Cape Lookout, Shackleford Banks or Carrot Island, bicycle rentals, golf, horseback riding, and climbing the Cape Lookout Lighthouse. Places to go include the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, Core sound Waterfowl Museum, Beaufort Maritime Museum, and Fort Macon State Park (right next to this Sea Spray condo).

Restaurants (some seasonal) include: Amos Mosquito’s, Island Grille, Four Corners Diner, Crab’s Claw Oceanfront Caribbean Restaurant, Idle Hour Biergarten, The Bite at the Box, Shark Shack, On the Rocks.

Betsy was very responsive and helpful. The place was perfect for our extended family (we own another property at Sea spray). The only downside is the parking lot view, but Betsy has adjusted the price for that, and who cares bc you are steps from the beach!

The property needs updating. With that said, we looked beyond the aesthetics and appreciated very much the short walk to the beach and pool. Atlantic beach is a fantastic destination for families with young kids. Morehead City and Beaufort are a short drive. Our family of four had everything we needed here.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The owner was always quick to respond with any questions that I might have. Also they are very kind. The condo was clean and had all the major appliances one needs. The furniture was very comfy! My family and I recommend staying here!

My friend and I were able to book this condo very easily at the last minute on our trip to the coast. Betsy was very quick to respond to our booking and questions, and her emails were very detailed. We had no problems whatsoever finding the condo, getting into the space, or making use of it. The location is fantastic--the ocean is literally a short walk on the boardwalk to the beach, which is fine sand and clean. While the condo itself is older, as are the furnishings, the space was clean and maintained well. Be sure to heed the owner's information about parking--we received a warning in the 20 minutes we took to unlock the unit and take a look around, return to the vehicle to get our luggage, and come down again to leave for dinner. Had we brought the parking pass down to put in the vehicle upon our return to grab our luggage, we wouldn't have been warned. Overall, we had a great experience in the Morehead City/Beaufort area and were pleased with our stay here.

2 queen beds ended up as 1 queen and 1 double. Water leaked from faucetsb in both showers. Older apartment needs lots of updates. Dishwasher has a lot of settlement in the bottom. Lots of stairs to get to the room and out to the beach. Tv in smaller bedroom didn't work. Will not stay again.

Enjoyed our stay at Betsy’s place. Unfortunately a tropical storm came through during the first 2 days while there so we were limited on things to do. The sun finally came out on the final day and had a great time at the beach. Great location and great amenities.

We had an amazing time at the condo and the beach! The location of the condo is GREAT! We would definitely consider coming here again. The host had Great communication! The only thing we weren’t very happy with was the cleanliness of it. The rugs and couch pillows were kind of dirty and the whole place needed a real deep cleaning . We weren’t very picky so we just dealt with it and had fun😁

The unit is convenient to everything: you can walk to the beach and Fort Macon. Restaurants and a great local brewery are a very short drive away. The unit — especially the kitchen — is very well equipped, and all the appliances worked well.

From the pictures we could see that it was an older condo lacking upgraded appliances and furnishings, which we expected. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the condo overall. There was visible black mold on the air vents, black dust on ceilings, hair on the floor and in the drains of the bathrooms, a torn shower lining, walls and light switches had dirty finger prints and smudges that could have been easily been cleaned and wiped away, linens were “clean” but old and stained, mattresses and pillows were lumpy and cheap, and so much more I could list. But the amount of mold and mildew in the bathrooms was most alarming considering that we are charged a “cleaning fee” to stay there. Again, we understood going in that this was an older and outdated condo, but cleanliness can be achieved despite age. Walls need to be cleaned and refreshed with paint and appliances and fixtures need to be updated. Although we enjoyed our stay in Atlantic Beach, we would not stay here again.

The property was easily accessible. Instructions were provided and easy to follow. The property was not clean or maintained compared to other properties I’ve stayed in both here in the us and abroad. I wonder when the owner last visited and if she would want family and friends to stay there. Condo needs to be deep cleaned, upgrade the appliances and paint.

We had a nice stay. The unit does not have an ocean view like a previous review stated. There is a slight view from the balcony. Unit is older and needs some updating. Betsy's instructions were very detailed. One suggestion for the owner is to have a working clock, so guests know what time it is. We put the clock radio from bedroom in the living room during our stay. Thank you Betsy for opening up your home to us.

This place was perfect for my 3 year old and I to visit the beach for the last time this year. The property was awesome. Condo was just as pictured and was super close to the beach/beach access areas. If you're looking for a quiet area with plenty of good food/fun options this is the place. Nice condo. However, it was not properly cleaned as evidenced by hair in tub and empty water bottle on floor at sofa’s edge. No handle or lock on balcony door. There was painter’s tape covering the whole where the handle and lock should have been. This made the door difficult to open and close. The fire extinguisher gauge was in the red, making it unusable. Big safety hazard. Date on extinguisher was 1980!

The condominium complex is disappointing with dark hallways and inconvenient entrance ways. The beach access was very good. The pool was not open during our stay but was attractive and well maintained. The condominium we stayed in was nicely furnished and well equipped with kitchen utensils. A negative is that the master bathroom is very small. The only maintenance issue we noticed was that the television in the guest bedroom was not working.
