After I checked out early in the morning and was at the Airport I realized that I had left my rings in the room. I called back to the hotel and Shawn, the front desk gentlemen that checked me out, put me on hold and went to my room to check. Sure enough...I left not only my rings but my earrings and lighter. He was kind enough to drive to the airport in his own vehicle and delivery everything to me. This is more then I could have ever expected. Please make sure Shawn is rewarded for taking that extra step to make sure a customer was happy. I am extremely grateful for SHawn!

Location is great
This hotel is a 7 story building, and each room has its own balcony for outside access. Understandably, the hotel has chosen to lock these shut, and there are no windows, so there is no way for fresh air. This would’ve been fine, had the AC in our room worked. We had it set to 65 for an entire weekend and it did not go below 72, and got as high as 78. The air vent pushed out Luke-warm air and that was it.
Most of the electronics were left unplugged. Lamps had to be plugged in, and the desk lap had its cord wrapped around the TV stand in a way that made it impossible to plug in. Multiple plugs by the beds did not work.
The pool was also out of service, which was posted on the website.
The bathroom has no fan, so if you don’t like your other person hearing you in there, you’ll have to play something from your phone.
For some reason, the TV’s cable was receiving no channel information, which meant that there wasn’t a way to see what was on TV without tuning in to that specific channel.

I got there at 8:30pm to check in and was turned away they claimed they had no reservation on file. I missed my conference the next morning as a result.

I liked the downtown location
The entrance is poorly marked and the entrance looked so little like an entrance that I thought it was the back of the building. There is no front desk as you enter the door - you turn a corner to find it.

shampoos and soaps in room were luxury grade, not cheap. nice towels. coffee station, microwave, fridge was nice to have. cookies on arrival was nice. there IS a shuttle to airport available and getting late check was a plus!
Kleenex and TP in room is lower quality stiff/scratchy. No free breakfast, $13.95 buffet no pen/note pad in room.

Dirty old hotel. Downtown area is dead and dirty too.
Value was bad.
4.0
location and room
checkin was long, had to wait, call, and finally find a desk person in the back room.

Good parking
Total lack of open facilities due to lack of staff
I never choose to eat the "free breakfast" provided in hotels these days - they are uniformly disgusting. Why not give patrons a choice? Obviously, nobody would pay for such rubbish.

great staff, great location, comfortable

Location was good, easy to walk around downtown from hotel. Staff was very friendly. Bed was very comfortable.
Cleanliness of the room was okay, but cleanliness of bathroom needs to be improved. The shower curtain had a bad smell which made the whole bathroom stink, and there was water damage to the paint in the bathroom which made it feel less clean.

Right beside the Main Street
The gentlemen on reception, when we walked in looked at us like we were inconveniencing him, he walked out of the office...didn't say anything to us...so I said "we'd like to check in" and he just said "ok?" and then silence, so I said "what do we need to do to check in?" then he decided to help us with some humming and yawing. Not really what you expect when checking into a Hilton Hotel.
