Lindo, pero falta mantenimiento

El entorno es precioso. De ensueño. El personal es muy amable y dispuesto. La decoración e interiorismo son preciosos. La comida del restaurante estaba deliciosa (ojo que una callecita de tierra por donde pasan vehículos y transporte público separa el hotel del lugar donde está la tienda, restaurante y cancha de polo, además de los viñedos).

La Casona donde está el hotel necesita mantenimiento y renovación acuciosa y urgente. El lugar es precioso, pero se ve que desde que fue renovado (por ahí por mediados del 2000) no se ha hecho una mantención seria de las instalaciones. Las habitaciones siguen siendo bellas, pero los baños dejan mucho que desear, sobre todo las duchas y tinas. Llenas de hongos y manchas que ya no salen con limpieza tradicional. Por el estado en el que está actualmente no deberían cobrar lo que cobran. Yo me había quedado ahí hace unos 15 años, y entonces si valía lo que cobraba.

We like Casa Silva so much we have stayed there four times.

The staff was exceptional in helping us find a taxi to go a long way as I had an accident and could not ride my bicycle.

Wonderful place with breathtaking views.

The hotel is very charming, very comfortable. It is an antique house, but with modern amenities, with heating etc. The staff is very thoughtful and it is right by the vineyards of one of the best wines in Chile. The vineyard is simply beautiful and make sure you make reservations to have lunch at the restaurant. Excellent trip and we definitely plan to go again! The bonus was the cute cat (Teresita) that accompanied the tour and hang around at the hotel, playful and friendly!

The bath tub is a bit old and narrow, so need to be careful going in and out, so that is the only downside of the room we stayed at. Otherwise the bathroom is spacious and shower is good pressure and temperature.

Wonderfully relaxing stay at a traditional hacienda

Authentic historical feel with sympathetic restoration of the property. Very relaxing atmosphere. Great breakfast. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff.

Very limited menu at hotel restaurant / wine bar. Property’s Polo Club restaurant on the adjoining vineyard only open for lunch so options for an evening meal were restricted.

Comfy, delicious and well worth a weekend away

The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived! The staff are top notch and so helpful. We travelled with three small girls and there was plenty for them to do so and play. The food menu is so simple but really delicious. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway.

Room was disappointing. Dark, bathroom needed a lot of maintenance, seemed like a poor place.

Private, quiet and personalized service

Felt like walking back in time. Wonderful, warm, welcoming staff. Provided assistance with reservations and personalized service. Town of San Fernando can be passed, but if planning to wine taste at Koylie and Casa Silva, Hotel Casa Silva is the perfect spot.

The hotel is showing a bit of age, some carpets could be replaced.

Shower was impossible, over bath, slippery as an ice rink.

Relaxing, tranquil, comfortable stay on a vineyard

The staff were incredible. Every single person we interacted with was helpful, kind, lovely. The courtyard was delightful and peaceful. We were grateful for a pool on hot days. Walking through the vineyard and the winery tour were highlights!

Bath/shower really needs an update. More options for dinner on property. Pool cover and/or more frequent cleaning of pool.

Expensive pretty building with not a huge amount of substance

Aesthetics were nice

Bathrooms. Noise. Lack of being able to find staff without having to nose into back rooms. Lack of attention to detail. No attempt to to sort gluten free items. Just couldn’t have any form of starch for any meal. You fitted into their agenda not the other way around. Shame.
