Good stay, super location bad wifi

Very nice receptionist, we were allowed to check in before, after night train. In check out day we stored our luggage in secure place. Good for backpackers.

The wifi was not working, the lock to the door was very poor so not security. The were some power blackouts in the night.

The location in the old city of Varanasi. The Director's attempt to solve my issue.

The single room that I booked was in fact a very small 3 squares meter room behind the reception desk (so probably noisy, while I had asked for a quiet room) with a view on a wall and no air circulation. For 35 EUR, one would expect better, or to be warned prior to coming with the option of cancelling. I was very disappointed, and after a long flight, exhausted, and not wanting to roam the city to find another place. Thankfully, the owner was flexible and gave me a better room, with no added charge, and I had a pleasant night. However, I still feel I shouldn't have had this "surprise". He said they would not rent out this room in the future, and indeed they shouldn't, or for a much lower price.

Comfortable, centric and nice, however little of a guest house, it was more an impersonal hotel. We travel as a couple and stayed in the city for 4 days. the room was nice and clean and the staff was ready to help in most cases. In one of ours, the owner didn't wake up for breakfast the check out date, having in mind the chaos of the city and the distance to the airport gave us some stress. Our stay in the house for the owners could be defined as invisible, no greetings or any kind of relationship in the common areas, just with the owner over our breakfast. Not what we expected of a guest house. In our opinion this is not the best choice of value for money, however its a quiet and comfortable stay

The place is hidden behind narrow street . No sign on the main street . The staff were excellent

It is very hard to find the place as it was tucked in narrow street. They is no sign on the main street . Had talk to many local walkers on the street .

Display of name on the main street. Stairs are too steep. Power went off several times .

Very nice guesthouse, perfectly located near the ghats and shops. The staff was also very kind and the room was spacious. I would come back!

Pleasant

The staff was very polite and helpful. The location is great that you can reach Ganga River in 5 min. There are good restaurants around.

The room was not so clean. If you are too strict about cleaning you can skip this place. Payment method was included credit card as well as cash however they demanded cash when checking out.

Excellent hot water and WiFi Great location for the main ghats. You can walk to them from the hotel Great cooked breakfast Very friendly family to stay with

It is definitely tucked away in the old city and down a side alley.- just a heads up.

Best if you look for very cheap option - good value for money

Good location, easy to access from main road, cheap room

Room was not properly cleaned. Paint/plaster dropped from the wall on to the bed, paint/plaster dropped from the ceiling of the breakfast area into our plate! I'm not saying the place is dirty..bathroom was very nice and clean. Breakfast is very very basic The man that is on site most of the time is a good man but he has no idea what is doing and he speaks very limited english...i wish the lady that we met only for our checkout was there all the time...communication was much better Very disapointed with the boat tour we booked via the employee of the hotel...very badly organised. The hotel gave us a big discount on the tour after we complained.

Good for me but may not be for others

The staff, Sujit especially and the owner himself, Mr.Anoop, are cordial and ready to assist. The room was at the top floor which had complete privacy. The staff was ready to assist with everything possible.

We had to stair upto fourth floor which was quite a task in the summers of June. The location is in narrow, infact very narrow streets of Kashi (this in fact is a like also as the Ghats are nearby). The toilet did not work properly and was too small for even to sit to take a bath. The water running from the taps was too hot through out the day. They donot have a proper inhouse kitchen.

Clean place, WiFi, AC, fan, nice beds. Photographies mostly correspond to the reality. After check out we could leave our bags in the hotel for the rest of the day.

The prices for clothes washing are expensive (80 rs for big piece, 40 for medium, 20 for small one).

Ovarall a pleasant and happy stay.

the location is in the prime spot and the behaviour of the staff members specially manager Sujit who is very much courteous and responsible. Happy to help anytime.

The staff is really good, they went out of the way to ensure our stay was comfortable, they gave a very good service, especially Sujit The rooms were clean when we got it and beds were comfy The place is very close to Ganga ghats Roof top room was very good and amazingly well lit

Cab goes only till one point and after that the only way to reach is to walk The other room on ground floor was too small, had zero ventilation or way for light to get in, wasn't well lit as one of the bulbs wasn't functioning, there was no electric kettle We asked multiple times for someone to clean the rooms as we stayed for 4 days but nobody cleaned the rooms, we even had to remind them to take out the garbage Reception desk used to be empty most of the times so we had to climb n go up in search for manager It was a huge hassle to wake up the manager early morning as the doors used to be locked All in all, it's not a bad place of your journey is short, but I have stayed in much better places at this price

There is nothing to like here,the owner of the property is very rude and he uses abusive language with his customers,they dint provided us even drinking water also for us ,very worst experince in my 25 years business experience,I fear all the properties listed in booking.com maybe same like this very bad stay 😭😭😭😠

The host Arub is an incredible person, the location of the guest house is perfect and the service, food and attention were impeccable. After looking for many places to stay i found this was the perfect match. The beautiful rooftop offers 360 degree view of the city and the rooms are very clean. 100 % would recommend to anyone visiting the city!

Amazing Varanasi stay- in the heart of Varanasi

Clean rooms, courteous staff, lovely homemade food, personalized service- it felt like an extended family

An electric kettle with instant tea/ coffee sachets could be added during winter season 😀 While booking rooms floor number could be indicated if aged guests are there

Nothing… zero recommendations!!

As they have charged us 4200 rupees extra for there mistake, we have asked for better room with same price they confirmed us without any price variations however at the time of final payment they charged extra for it which is totally unprofessional!!! and the owners talk and action never matched!! very greedy person!!
