We had a very comfortable stay in a beautiful home that was beautifully decorated. It was very clean and provided everything and more than we needed. We will be back again next time we spend a few days in the area. Thank you for everything.

We had a great two night stay at Mark’s place this July. Check in instructions were clear and Mark was very helpful before we arrived with ensuring we had what we needed. Mark even blew up an air mattress and put on sheets to accommodate our two children. The house was cool when we arrived and there were three AC units throughout the home.
The house itself is beautiful! The woodwork and trim throughout make this space warm and comfortable. You enter the living room with plenty of seating for six off the entry foyer. The dining room, seating six, is also beautifully decorated and plenty spacious. There are two bedrooms with great closet and dresser storage. The beds are very comfortable as well. While there is only one bathroom, it was not a problem for our family of six. There was storage available and we never ran out of hot water. The kitchen was large and fully stocked. We used the laundry (in the basement) and were surprised there were two washers and two dryers available. Being that this was our halfway stop in a 3.5 week trip, this was such a great surprise and allowed us to wash clothes in half the time!
The house is in a cute neighborhood near Boston, however it took about 10 min to get to a grocery store. Not a problem, but just good to know for planning purposes. We drove into Boston each day as it was only 15 min or so, however the house is also close to a train/metro stop.
We would absolutely choose to stay here again in the future!

This was the perfect location for our trip to Boston without staying in Boston. The apartment is clean and full of amenities. The host lives in the upstairs apartment and responds quickly to questions.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. Mark was very friendly and provides only the best for his guests. We were in the area for a family vacation with our three kids ages 16, 15, and 12. It was a great location for taking public transportation into Boston to see the sights. We also rented a car (and appreciated the off-street parking) which we took on a couple of day trips to Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. The house is beautiful and has everything you could need. The neighborhood was safe and friendly. We would not hesitate to return.

This is a spatious, comfortable, beautifully appointed and maintained property with easy access to Boston and surrounding communities. It was more like staying in the guest house of a good friend with excellent taste in furnishings and design, than a rental. Mark is a gracious host; we could not have enjoyed our stay more.

When i booked this property. I admitt i did not read through every fine detail. Arriving to the property it was very nice. Apartment was beautiful, we all got ready and had a night at encore casino. Very quick drive. We arrived back at the apartment around 2am to a man staring out the window in the alpartment above us.A few people stayed outside to have a smoke. Where the man starred constanly making it very uncomfortable. We walked down the street a bit and then the man came outside. He didnt say anything just starred. We went back inside. The next morning the host followed us out side asking for money for the extra people that stayed. I thought i had booked the apartment and didnt even think that he needed a head count, it sleeps 7 so we had 7.but to come outside demanding money and just talking down to me like i was a child. I would never stay there again.

This place exceeded our expectations! It’s so nice! Everything you need. Wonderful porch area to sit outside. Good beds. Coffee provided. So “old feeling” but has been very well maintained. We met the owner when we were leaving….super nice guy! We were only here for one night and would love to come back and stay much longer.

My son and I were blown away by this property! The pictures are extremely accurate.
There are two things that stood out. First, the cleanliness and comfortable living quarters. You can tell that the host is very detailed when it comes to the cleaning, decorating, and furnishings.
Second, the convenience to the Orange T line (about a mile). My son and I used it both days while staying in Boston. We easily were able to get to Fenway Park (35 minutes) & downtown (15-20 minutes). We did not need to use our car, which saved on time, money, & headaches!
I’m so glad I found this property; we look forward to staying here again!

Mark's home is absolutely gorgeous. We loved all the natural woodwork and his family's historic pieces of furniture. Everything was as pictured in the listing. Mark was very responsive, pleasant and helpful when inquiring about the area. His home is very comfortable with high-end bed linens, comfortable mattresses and super thick and absorbant bath towels - extra touches that put his place above the rest. The home is beautifully decorated and very cozy. Thank you, Mark, for sharing your home with us. Although our stay was short, it was comfortable and felt like home. We would love to stay again in the future the next time we're in the Boston area.

The house is just lovely! It is an old house, beautifully restored. Everything was perfect. It was clean and peaceful, beautiful furniture, lovely details like perfectly folded white towels in the closet, fancy body wash in pump containers in bathroom all lined up. An amazing kitchen with a great stove, pots and pans. Everything is very upscale. Nothing cheap or skimpy,. No detail was spared. A lot of love and thought went into putting this house together. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Thought place was impressively clean. Had all the comforts one would want or expect. Living room was very comfortable. The woodwork made the home very inviting. Big driveway was good. 5 minute ride to subway station was important as well. Was very fortunate to meet the owner(Mark) as we pulled into the driveway. He gave a quick rundown of a few items including some restaurants ideas. It was very clear to me that the owner has spent a lot of time and money on making it a great place to stay.

This is our 2nd time staying. We enjoy how close to the city we are. The T station is literally a 5-minute drive from here. The house is so clean and inviting and has the charm of the 40-50's with current amenities. Looking forward to our next visit.

Me and few members of my band from Connecticut came to play a show in Boston. When we arrived at the house we thought “gorgeous!” From the outside and when we walked in, it was even more amazing inside. The place was very clean, spacious and lovely to look at. The host stocked the fridge with a few things to eat and drink which we were very grateful for after a 3-hour gig. There were clear instructions on parking (in the driveway which was nice) and checking in and out. Thank you, Mark, for a wonderful stay. Pangea will be back.

I had the pleasure of staying at Mark's exquisite property, and I am compelled to share the exceptional experience I had.
The attention to detail in the woodwork was truly impressive, showcasing a level of artistry that is often hard to find. Each room felt like a masterpiece, with carefully curated wooden elements that blended seamlessly with the overall design. The quality of the wood used was exceptional, giving the house a timeless and elegant appeal.
Beyond the physical beauty of the property, what truly set this experience apart was the outstanding communication from the host, Mark. From the initial booking process to the moment I checked out, Mark was incredibly responsive and accommodating. His willingness to go the extra mile to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay did not go unnoticed.
Mark's genuine hospitality and effective communication added an extra layer of comfort to my stay, making me feel truly valued as a guest.

We stay at Mark’s house when my family comes to my son’s house for Christmas. We travel from New York and we find his house very comfortable. The beds are wonderful and the living room and kitchen chairs are very comfortable. His accommodations exceed the pictures online. He is a wonderful host! The house is well stocked with sight seeing brochures, games, coffee, etc. whatever a guest might want and then some. This is our second time staying here, and I am planning on returning next year.

Mark's accommodation was excellent, from the fully stocked kitchen to the very comfy beds, felt like being at home. The kitchen had everything (and more) to allow you to cook at home if needed but the place wasn't too far away from restaurants either. The area was very quiet and easy to get to and there was easy parking. There were many books to read and heaps of boardgames that we loved using. My family of 5 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to other travellers. Thank-you Mark

We were visiting family and gathered at Mark's place for Thanksgiving dinner. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed for a perfect get together. After dinner, everyone enjoyed the games and relaxing in the comfortable living room.
The towels and bedding are outstanding! They were so wonderful that I was researching where to buy them for myself!
