Wonderful location- very central and convenient. The hotel is a tribute to Danish design from the 50s, 60s, and 70s and the decor is amazing. Great staff and fantastic breakfasts in an adjoining restaurant.

The location of the hotel couldn't be better! it is in walking distance of the central train station from where you can even take a train to Sweden (which we did) and connections to and from Copenhagen airport.
The Metro which brings you to places all around the city is just a few meters away and will save you walking to the main areas if you are tired or it is not nice weather.
Also Hotel Alexandra is centrally located near the best eating places and Tivoli, which is a must to visit❤️
There is aircon in the room (which I was not expecting) and the windows open too if you want to have fresh air, and once closed they provide excellent noise reduction. We were not bothered at all by typical capital city noises.
The staff were amazing, polite, helpful and professional. Check in and check out was very smooth, even when on check out the fire alarm sounded and the Fire Service promptly responded, to what I can only guess was a false alarm.
There was a lovely added touch with a free glass of red or white wine during 'Happy Hour' served in reception and we could take to our room if we wished.
If you are a lover of Danish design this is definitely the Hotel for you, if not, I would recommend you try it
We had breakfast on one morning of our stay.
It is important to note that it is not the Hotel's breakfast service, but a restaurant next door that can be accessed directly from the Hotel which is very nice and felt like you were dining in the hotel.
However the service in the restaurant was extremely slow. (we had booked for a 7am sitting the night before)
The staff were polite and there seemed to be enough staff both front of house and in the Kitchen but we waited a long time to receive our breakfast.
Other diners near us expressed the same opinion about the service.
The quality of the food when it did arrive was good.

Old hotel with no facilities
Bathrooms in need of modernization. Terrible plastic soap dispensers that didn’t work. Minimal tea and coffee facilities with no cups or mugs in rooms. Freezing cold breakfast room with very basic breakfast.

Great location, walking distance to everywhere. Staff were very friendly and the room was equipped with all necessities. Also. the breakfast option at the café next door was great. I would stay here again.
Twice I received towels with some hairs on it and also the bathroom had some hair in a few places. I wiped down stuff myself and didn't use those towels. Other than that the hotel was good.

Such a convenient location, staff were so friendly and helpful, the hotel itself was immaculate and stylish.
Would stay here again
Wifi was non existent but that would be a very picky complaint as I was out and about

Location is very good.
Lobby and the reception arrangement
Books in lobby and the drinks
The cost , for the room and overall cost for a tourist

The location was in a vibrant part of the city within walking distance to many attractions including Tivoli and a subway station. Front desk was extremely helpful as we got acclimated.
The shower.......water runs all over the bathroom floor creating a slipping hazard and plain old wet conditions.

Stylish and well located accommodation. Very friendly staff and the breakfasts were amazing.
The shower wasn’t as nice as it could have been

We had a lovely stay at this perfectly located gem of a hotel furnished solely with Danish Modern masterpieces and started the day with the best breakfast in town!
Bike rental reservation possibility would be a big help to make sure you always have a bike when you need one.

Loved our stay here, staff were fantastic, room gorgeous and comfortable, location was excellent.
Could do with some blackout blinds/curtains, as the room was quite bright in the morning.

Breakfast was excellent
I asked for a double bed and silent room. They gave me a single bed an room above construction activities. They were not willing to change anything. A complete rib off.

Beautiful building and furnishings, great location, double glazed windows made for a quiet sleep.
Small rooms challeing for a couple with two suitcases. Light curtains made for an early start to the day (in summer!).

The location was perfect! The rooms were quirky and very quiet. Comfortable bed. Loved that we had a small balcony. The staff were lovely and helpful, and I liked the wine o’clock in the early evening.
The rooms are on the smaller side. Perfect when all you need is a bed at the end of the day, but maybe not if you need to spread out. We couldn’t figure out how to turn down the heating, so it got a bit hot at night.

The room was compact, but comfortable. It faced onto a busy road, but the only noise we could really hear were any sirens from the emergency services that went by. The location was good for access to the city centre.
The bonus was the free wine at Happy hour!
There was a kettle in the room, but no cups. Coffee was available in the reception area, but hot water had to be from the kettle in your own room

Free happy hour wine.
No coffee and tea in the room.

the lobby is very cute and the overall vibe and staff at this place is absolutely lovely for (solo)travellers.
It feels welcoming and familiar.
The bed even tho a single was super comfortable and I slept great both nights.
My room was very small, was not cleaned, the bed and bathroom were clean enough, clearly they did not clean the floor or any of the other things in the room since it was full of dust and blonde hairs (mine is black).
I made notice immediately and I noted it was okay for me since I only stayed 2 nights, but if would’ve been nice to been offered compensation or even a coffee.
They have these themed rooms, mine was the 50’s but it seemed like a bad excuse for the room to be the absolute minimum.
